Jul 12, 2011I've had the curve model 8530 for about 14 months. I charge it at night and un plug it and go to work in the morning. It stays charged throughout the day and only would run down - about 30% - 50% if I am talking on the phone while taking the train home (about 40 minutes). Since yesterday, it totally ran all the way down before 2 Pm without any unusual usage - just checking some emails occasionally. It was charged fully this morning and I took the charger to work with me and had to recharge it twice already. How do I find out if the battery is bad?

It's a Motorola cigarette lighter plug charger.Is that normal and does it do this with the official mount or just on the USB?

After I got off I looked at my battery and it was down 1/2 a brick. I've tried removing the battery for awhile, but it doesn't seem to help. I talk on it a lot through the day so I can understand it needing charged at night, but 1 minute off the charger and it's already losing power? I don't use the internet that much, but I do play games. The phone is about a month old. Any advice?

Bluetooth and wifi on and even-though Bluetooth wasn't used (only gets through when a call comes in while I'm driving) and the internet just a little bit it used almost 50% by the time I was back. May 18, 2012I have a 3GS IPhone on 5.0.1. It's been working well for several months, no issues. This past weekend I dropped the phone, but luckly there was no physical damage, and it seemed to work fine afterward. But I noticed that it started to drain the batter much faster than it had before that. I go from 100% down to zero in about 6 hours just by having it sit in my pocket locked. It's also noticably hotter than before.
