IPhone :: Why Does The Battery Go So Unbelievably Fast?
Jun 3, 2012
I just got a replacement phone from the apple store yesterday and I charged it last nite before I slept. After the battery says its 100percent full, I unplugged it. When I woke up and check my phone this morning, it was turn off automatically cuz there's no charge
I Have been experiencing in the last three months some serious battery issues. My battery goes from 80% to 20% in half an hour!!
The battery is so bad that it drained 10% while writing this discussion believe it or not!! Even though I tried everything to minimize my usage like turning off LTE and location and keeping brightness at minimum. Its driving me crazy because I've going around every where holding my charger because my phone goes from full battery to zero in a two hours or three if i'm using it lightly. What should I do? Keep in mind that the warranty expired several months ago.
My battrery has been running low quickly . For instance, I charged it yesterday and when it was done charging I made a phone call. I was on the phone for about 11/2 minutes. After I got off I looked at my battery and it was down 1/2 a brick. I've tried removing the battery for awhile, but it doesn't seem to help. I talk on it a lot through the day so I can understand it needing charged at night, but 1 minute off the charger and it's already losing power? I don't use the internet that much, but I do play games. The phone is about a month old. Any advice?
When I leave it on standby for 8h I notice that it uses 40% of the battery even-though wifi and Bluetooth are off. How come? One time I left for 2-3h. Bluetooth and wifi on and even-though Bluetooth wasn't used (only gets through when a call comes in while I'm driving) and the internet just a little bit it used almost 50% by the time I was back. I'm pretty sure thats not normal.I wonder if the battery doctor app will do any improvement to that.
I have just brought IPHONE 3G, was thinking that it would provide me good back up as compare to My existing Nokia E72, but it doesn't. I was in Travel from last 3 days and my Iphone getting shut down on every day due to Battery back up lost faster. how to close all opened application when Iphone is in sleep or in stand bye mode.
I charge my iphone at least 2 times in a day. I have an iphone 4s running 5.1 and I am so disappointed because my my battery keeps draining even if I am not using my iphone, seriously im thinking in replacing the battery. I charge my iphone to 100% 20min later without using it 80%.
Since I have ios 5.1, the battery is discharged way too fast. I hate this and do not think it is the best phone if not it can be used when more need, that the battery is discharged before the end of the day.
I have a 3GS IPhone on 5.0.1. It's been working well for several months, no issues. This past weekend I dropped the phone, but luckly there was no physical damage, and it seemed to work fine afterward. But I noticed that it started to drain the batter much faster than it had before that. I go from 100% down to zero in about 6 hours just by having it sit in my pocket locked. It's also noticably hotter than before.
i have an iphone n there is a problem wiv my battrey that everytym i charge it it drains really fast!! n its really hard when we r out!! my phone is styll under warranty!
I'm using Iphone 4S just a few months yet the battery lift seen to run fast even i switch it off overnight with my 3G, Location Service n Cellular Data OFF is my Iphone 4S faulty?
Recently Iphone has invited customers to get their battery replaced who have purchased the iphone 5 between Sept 2012 to Jan 2013. I have purchased my Iphone 5 on Feb 2013, however my battery doesn't hold a day (and quickly goes to 30%->0% in no time). I have checked on the apple page and my Serial number is not suggested to be affected by the fault that the company is admitting. Is it possible that the lot that I have purchased the phone in could also be faulty similar to its predeccars. I am facing the battery issue from almost beginning of this year now. That suggests my phone battery was fine only for an year. I am wondering if this is the average age of Iphone battery or my phone behaved exceptionally bad.Â
I have a Iphone 5s. The phone charges really slow, and dies really fast. I am barely on it now since this happen. I tried restoring at home, and also resetting. I took a trip to Apple two days ago, and they ran the diagnostic. He said the battery is healthy but something is wrong with the firmware or software. After he restored it but it still is doing the SAME thing.
I Have iphone 4s and it is a big peoblem for me now because its bettery drains too much fast and it becomes too much hot after some time. I am too much worried about that. I dnt knw what can i do now with that.
i got this issue with my iphone since yesterday. It woked me up as usual and i noticed that it was realy warm but haven't thought much about it...was too early So i go to work as usual...then i noticed that the battery drains realy fast (like 1-2% in a minute of usage) and getting very warm on the back right beneath the rear camera (same spot is getting hot while charging). I also noticed that the auto-focus of the rear cam isn't working (also manual focus doesn't work).
I upgraded to IOS 5.1 and also reset it to factory defaults and also generate a new profile for it so no old settings are used. But the problem sill persists :/ As long as it is in standby everything is alright if i use it (even browse through tabs) it starts draining and getting warm
iphone 4s battery draining extremly fast, how annoying is that, Battery will be drain out within 12 hrs and I just usually watch 30 mins video (not using 3G/wifi) and 10mins on Phone . I always turn off my Siri, Auto Detect Time Zone, 50% Brightness, NO background Apps are running and Mail is manually updated.
My iPhone 4 its battery life has decreased dramatic, since one month or so.Without doing anything, having location services turned off and brightness at 50% it goes down with at least 6% per hour.Furthermore, the iPhone cannot be turned off. If I turn the phone off, it restarts automatically. It does this every time. I did a reset and restore already, but no luck so far.I hear more people with batterylife problems since 5.1.
this is my first Iphone (4S). I have been an avid Droid user for years and always had great luck with them (battery, OS, ect). So I decided a week ago March 25th 2012 to take the plunge and get an iphone family plan with my significant other, assuming "what the heck, everyone says the battery life is the best thing about the phone". From day one this phone has been Not only is my phone affected, but my girlfriend's same model phone is the same exact way. So let me get to it already:I consider myself a tech-savy person and thought hey I can figure this out, man have I been wrong, along with 98% of 4S users. So the phone came stocked with iOS 5.0.1 I think. After suffering bad battery life for two days,
