consider releasing a Screen Orientation Lock and Screenshot App?
These are basic features that Microsoft forgot to implement because they were all busy with the Smartglass App that just came out and everyone was just super excited! I know that these apps are possible, some apps on marketplace have their own screenshot feature. On developer unlocked phones they can lock screen orientation.
i try to help him yesterday to download some application like Internet application but the problem is when i try to open the program it said 'feature not supported' also i download a game but when i open it said something like expired i forgot exactly whats the error.i think the only problem is the bout certificates and i dont know how to fix hope you can help me.btw his phone is nokia e61i.
View 5 Replies View Relatedi have a nokia 5800 xpress music latest firmware (40) and everything, but latley when i get a normal SMS from someone (i know the person gotten messages from him before), it tells me Unable to open: message format not supported. however the message shows in the in-box (the first few words or so, after the senders name) and if i go to a previous text and then click the arrow (or the pound key) that takes me to the next text, it'll open fine.. it kinda **bleep** me off i tried restarting the phone didn't help

Whenever I try to open the file it says "File Format Not Supported".

View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyhow, out of the box, whenever he opened something that could have a landscape orientation - web browser, menus, etc - the screen would automatically turn to that orientation and he would have to turn his phone to use it, ie, no matter how he held it, it would *always* change to landscape.Going into the display settings and turning off "Auto-rotate" screen keeps the screen in portait mode, but then lansdcape doesn't work at all.We did a power off and battery removal and now the phone always stays in portrait mode irresepective of what the display setting is set to.
The odd thing is, the NFS game that comes on it plays perfectly?!Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and managed to fix it without having to return the phone? (it came from Amazon, so it's not as simple as walking into a store and swapping it)
I have purchased a x 10 mini pro couple of days ago.I have noticed that the screen orientation is not changing from portrait to landscape mode when i turn the mobile.it works when i slide out the keypad.this happened after the upgrade to 2.1. I have checked the settings>dispaly>screen orientation option. Should I take it to service centre?

Currently when i use the HDMI cable the screen turns such that the cable goes in from the bottom which if the XOOM is on my lap is awkward. It would bebetter if the HDMI port was at the top.
tried installing the ms apps using a third party app since i saw it worked on other people's phones and i thought i would give it a shot i was wrong for about 3-4 days i've been scouring the internet trying to find a solution to the Home screen:feature not supported bug or whatever it is, but to no avail. I am starting to become a bit desperate as the gallery simply will not work no matter what i do, .jpgs wont open, and my phone has been handicapped in the most literal sense of the word. Also i've tried hard resetting twice but to no result. I've considered hacking the phone and installing a custom firmware but i didnt want to destroy the phone completely, and also waiting for the feature pack might take too long for me.

I have a nokia E7, which for the most part have been good. Most of the issues i have had with it have been PICNIP's, but now, it's starting to bug me. Some time ago, when the phone was about 6 weeks old, it developed what i assumed to be a hardware bug. No matter what i plugged into the USB port, it told me "USB-device not supported. Remove the unit" and if I press ok it says "error in the USB connection, remove the cable" (I'm translating this from Danish, so this might not be the exact English error code). As the error persisted through a hard reset, i shipped the phone to repairs, where they changed the radio module, where the USB port is soldered to. Now, about a month after i got the phone back, the error has returned. As i doubt i have hit the statistical "faulty unit" lottery twice, i'm starting to wonder if this error is also a "problem in chair, not in phone", so have anyone encountered the same problem? And any ideas how to resolve it?

Ever since I switched to the new OS 6, I cannot send SMS messages to anybody. Here's the problem:
- I send an SMS to various people with different phones
- Various people tell me they cannot read the message, different phones (Nokia, Android) report getting "message format not supported"
- For some reason, only iPhone users can read my SMS
- Sending MMS works, but not SMS
My phone provider is WIND, and I was wondering if this is due to my provider or the new OS? I can only use BBM for so long lol.
Why can't some mobilephones open the text message that I send using my torch. Something like "Unable to open. Message format not supported" appears. What must I do?
