I had a Software Update on my X6. Started downloading it on a poor wi-fi connection. Connection was lost half way through and now I can not finish update.

View 1 Replies View RelatedGot today SMS to update the X6 SW (in Finland), and so I did, probably shouldn't have done it. After the update, phone is not anymore recognized by Ovi player. Ovi Suite connection is ok. Comes with Music is now useless, as I can't transfer the music to my X6. SW version is 20.0.005, date 23-3-2010. "Modified" version 20.0.005.226.01 dated 15-4-2010. Language package 03. X6-00. Type RM-559. Last update 14:38. Please HELP ! I have changeg the USB connection method, restarted PC several times as well the phone, nothing is working. Earlier these type of issues, which seems to be typical for X6, have been recovered by restarting either or both PC and X6.

However using Micro USB cable when I try to do a Backup or Update the software (problem is also on Nokia Software Updater) it says that the USB connection to the Device is lost and everything fails.I am using Windows 7 64bit (cable is a Standard USB cable)

There seams to be a number of possible ways of doing this on the N97 and I don't know which is the correct way. I have only managed it successfully once. My main problem is finding where the file has been saved. I would like to download the BBC Chris Moyles weekly round up. There is an enhanced version (with pictures) which I have not managed to get working on my phone. Does anyone have that working on an N97? Can I download the radio show from iPlayer to my phone and play later?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI know my way around PC hardware and OS's.My problem sarted when I went to the T-mobile update. Phone stuck on "downloading update...", blue text on white background. Unable to boot into recovery, but was able to get into download mode. I found the correct ICS firmware update .tar file, but Odin 1.85 will not work. It always sticks on Setup Connection. Others fixed this by using differnt USB port and/or cable. Tried all 10 USB ports, nada; don't have another cable, but I'm out to get one this morning. I assume if I can get to download mode I'm not totally bricked. Only way I can get into d/l mode is to remove the battery, otherwise phone just boots to white update screen.I'm looking at a $200 brick! Wonder if I should just walk in to a T-mobile outlet and demand a fix.

View 5 Replies View RelatedYesterday the software update Nokia Belle for C7 was approved for my region. I installed it instantly by following the instructions. After the update my device worked well, but I noticed some things that may point to a software problem on the device. I decided to reinstall it. I followed the instructions, the Nokia Suite checked and found the installation file on my PC and the reinstallation began normally. A backup was made of my contacts and other stuff, then the installation began.
Not long after that the Suit says that the connection to my device is lost (not a windows warning). It suggested several things to do to continue, but it couldn't. Currently my C7 is not working. I tried to remove and put back the battery & recharge it but still can't start the phone. When I plug it to my PC via USB, I hear the windows sound for USB device connected and disconnected after that. The only living sign of my device is the little white light, next to the USB port, which is blinking when I plug the charger and try turn the phone On.

From now, there is no "cities" folder on E: and Ovi Suite can't upload new maps. So I have Ovi maps working but without any Maps ! It says my memory card is full, but there is 28Go available!

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm getting a "Network connection lost" error shortly after the installation of a downloaded app is started. The status bar gets to about 15% and then the installation is interrupted. I've tried using WiFi and non-WiFi connections, but the result remains the same. My N8-00 was upgraded to the Belle OS over the weekend and it caused most of the apps to be uninstalled. Now I'm trying to get them back but fail to do so because of the error.

This could also be because of problems with our servers. Is it that NSU does not support N900 and if so why would Nokia sell a phone and not provide software to update the phone with.

I just added a new iPad to my itunes account and since then my text messaging has gone crazy! We have 2 iphones, 3 ipads and 2 ipods all on one itunes account. When I text my husband, the message sometimes goes to him, but also goes to my son's ipod and other son's ipad. I sometimes recieve texts from my husband's cell number and other times it shows up as my own cell number. Tonight I was texting my sister-in-law and our conversation came across on my husband's phone, and my sister in law said the text came through from an email address instead of my cell number. Please let me know how to fix this!

I own a Samsung Galaxy S-5, and after a Samsung software update (performed on February 13, 2015) all of my pictures in my Gallery under my camera tab have disappeared. I called Samsung and they had me search the phone in several places to look for the pictures with no luck. Has anyone lost pictures after an update? How to find my photos? After update all messages are erased and she had important information there. I installed Ovi Suite on Mac and downloaded extra support for C7, but I couldn't restore that information. She never installed Ovi Suite on her PC. My question is: is she installs Ovi Suite for PC on her laptop, will she be able to restore old messages? I recently switched to Belle as well on my Nokia N8, but I'm not that crazy about old messages, so I haven't noticed it. I checked on my phone using Files disk C, but there wasn't any folders with my username.
I'm trying to update the firmware on my N97 using the SU on my laptop. Although I have no problem getting connected via PC suite, SU won't recognise that my N97 is connected.
