I have a question on my nokia x6. When you look at the screen and in the upper right corner where is the signal strength and there is that what I like to call it the Y i have that sign but after some time it diapers and there is that sign ( arrows in both way on top is a big E) so i don't know if that means that i have my Internet connection still on or what and i can not turn it off....
View 11 RepliesOkay i've had my Nokia n97 for more than 6months now and its been working great except lately my facebook app wasn't working and i had to update it,so last night i backed up my files on my mobile and i connected it to the pc and updated it with the program that the mobile brings with a cd it was okay then i went back to restore my files and it said it had to restart so it turned off and i went to turn it on again and it stayed a blank screen with the nokia sign in the middle in blue (when you turn it on it that usually shows) but it stayed stuck there it doesn't go to pin code nor anything, and to turn it off i have to take the battery off,

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy wife accidently going through her contacts went to the very top where there's a drop down menu for Phone or Contacts. It went to Contacts. Now whenever she goes to her contacts a message pops up saying Sign In or Sign Up to OVI. She's been on the phone now with Nokia for 2 hours trying to resolve.Anyone out there have any ideas?
And by the way, are other brands of phones this bad, what with setting up loops like this can't be broken. Or, like what I've read here and elsewhere, all the problems with the Lock Code? I mean, it seems Nokia needs to go back to the drawing board and work on their user interface.
Does anyone know what address the sign in page takes you too? When i click sign in it comes up with an error "COULD NOT SIGN IN" ."NOKIA OVI SUITE COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE NOKIA ACCOUNT SERVER. MAKE SURE INTERNET CONNECTION IS WORKING PROPERLY AND TRY AGAIN".So if possible does anyone know what it is so i can have the exceptions allowed on my work PC.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI can't turn my phone on.For the last week, every time I plugged the charger in, the screen would go white, and then a battery with a red cross through would show up.If I removed and replaced the battery several times then eventually it would reboot, I took to a phone shop yesterday and they unscrewed the phone and re-screwed it together again, and the battery sign didn't appear again and appeared to be working fine again.However, last night I attempted to charge the phone again, and the battery sign appeared again and now will not go off. The phone is completely useless. I've tried a new battery, with no luck. What should I do?

For months now, I haven't been able to use iMessage. I go to the Messages page on Settings and it says that iMessage is turned on but that it is "Waiting for activation...". When I click "Use your Apple ID for iMessage" and put in my information (which I know is correct because it works for iTunes and the App Store) it takes about 3 minutes then comes up with a message saying "Could not sign in. Pleace check your network connection and try again." This doesn't make any sense because I am definitely connected to the network- I have plenty of service, 3G, etc. I am also pretty sure that this is connected to why nothing has been sent to my iCloud either...

I was on my last day of holiday fone was fully charged and working fine after a.new software update i was out for lunch fone still working and by 4pm its was off with no signs of life plugged it in to charge and still nothing. I flew home with the phone in my suitcase and when i got home i put it on charge and it had a red flashing light so i left it because its the most amount of life i had seen from it.
When I woke 3-4 hours later the screen powered on with the. Charging sign visible and charging i left it like that untill it was 100% and powered it on it worked for around 20 mins and same again died with no sign of life. For the last 24 hours ot has been on charge and only seem to get a flashing red light or a slow flashing light(when attached to.a comp, still didnt connect to pc companion). I have all hols photos videos on it that I haven't backed up yet and all contacts are stored on phone ...
I have google nexus 5 32gb and recently i my phone has started behaving very weird. My phone batter died and it switched off and after a few moments when i reached home i plugged in a charger and my phone wont show me charging sign nor it will turn up so i left it on charge for a couple of hours and returned to try the same switching on method and still it wont turn on. So started googling this problem and i came across a forum where it showed me to hard booth by pressing the volume down and power button.
Magically it did not work for me so i made an appoint to go and see LG Service Store and suddenly my phone turned on so i thought the problem was solved untill it happened again and again and again so now if my phone switches off i am not very sure if it would turn back on. As this is a very random problem and i am unable to solve it while the phone is on and if i charge it before the battery reaches the critical levels and shuts on its own i am just fine.
What can be the issue as battery works the whole day of medium to low use and also other hardware happens to function well without any hanging complaints. Also my phone randomly switches off if i am playing some game as it gets heated and the same story of phone not booting.
My phone has been off for the past 5 days and wen i switched it on this morning it would not switch on. I've removed the battery, put it back in and it still wont switch on. All it show is a dead battery sign. I've been charging it for the past 4 hours and it still shows the same sign. A red flashing light keeps goin on and off and i dont know what that indicates. Do i need a new battery or the phone has a fault?

If I click the Icon I get my TalkTalk network described as "known" rather than "Connected". In Connectivity the network is described as "available". In Connectivity Manager there is "no active connection." Am I flapping over nothing or is my battery being eaten up? Oh yes, there is no padlock to the icon when in this condition unlike when connected. Cheers Tim
