So I created an updated one etc and now it says under settings that the new one is in effect but when I go to the app store it has the old one. Aug 25, 2014I recently got a new email address because my old email address was deactivated. I am now unable to log on to that email address. I updated my Apple ID to my new apple id on my mac and it worked fine! However, when I got on my iPhone I was immediately instructed to enter my password to my old apple id on iCloud, and when I did it was denied. It will not let me log out of my old apple id without the password, and my password does not work for it now that I changed my email address. I have literally tried everything. I reset my phone, and was still prompted to enter the apple Id from my old email address, I even put my phone into recovery mode and reset it. However, after all of this it is still not working.

I can't press the on/off button easily because the key is missing (must use a paper clip or pen to push it), but even when trying the reset option (home and power button simultaneously), nothing happens. When I click "Use your Apple ID for iMessage" and put in my information (which I know is correct because it works for iTunes and the App Store) it takes about 3 minutes then comes up with a message saying "Could not sign in. Pleace check your network connection and try again." This doesn't make any sense because I am definitely connected to the network- I have plenty of service, 3G, etc. I am also pretty sure that this is connected to why nothing has been sent to my iCloud either...
