I think there is a bug in 808 3g mobile data connection which causes the phone to turn off. It happened when you are in zero or weak connection. There is no problem if I turn mobile data off or use WiFi only. This is annoying especially if you use always on Whatsapp.
After a hard reset on my nokia 603 on belle fp1 wifi and mobile data connections stopped working. I tried reinstalling the os also from nokia suite. Its not working. On connecting to my home wifi it gives a notification connection failed connection unavailable and I tried connecting to other wifi also.......
When I off the mobile data option, it start giving me messages in every five seconds repeatedly on top right corner of the screen that "mobile data off".
Here in Pakistan mobile internet is very expensive. And I don't want to connect my mobile to internet through mobile data. how can I get rid of "mobile data off" messages.
I have a bare bones pay-as-you-go plan. All I get are free unlimited texts and free unlimited calls (within the country). I get no data and, frankly, I don't care for data. I do get annoyed that every so often while playing Angry Birds or using Nokia Maps or any of a number of other applications I will get the "Mobile Data Not Available" notice. How can I disable this notice? It is tiring and I KNOW I don't have Mobile Data.
I have a new T-Mobile S6 Edge and love the phone, but one thing I have not figured out is why I still get background mobile data usage even though I have disabled mobile data and set "restrict background data". Both tuiService and OS services are downloading approximately 100K at a time periodically over mobile data throughout the day even though I have a wifi connection.
I've only had my phone for 5 months and I recently got a phone update. Ever since then, it keeps switching itself off, especially after I've sent a text.
I recently bought a used N8 to replace my old one that got stolen, although it works perfectly, I've had a couple of occasions where it has switched itself off overnight, & I cannot switch back on until putting on charge, despite the phone being well charged the day before. Is it possible that an app I've downloaded could be causing the battery to discharge overnight?
N8's Phone memory is only 250MB. The default memory for storage mails and other stuff is phone memory. How can I switch to MASS STORAGE or MEMORY CARD. specially mailForExchange msgs?
At this point in time, Verizon is becoming too expensive and i'm looking to move to T-Mobile. I plan to purchase an Unlocked iPhone 4S from the Apple website. I went to a T-Mobile store and a rep told me that they can configure something so i can send MMS messages. (I know i can't use visual voice mail and I'll be on the slower Edge network) But is the rep right? Would i be able to send MMS messages?Another question: Will iMessage still work? and if so, could i send photos over iMessage?
Info: MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
My mobile gone switched off due to low charge at midnight in the morning I tried to charge the mobile with original charger. Red indication light is getting but neither charging nor switching on and not even getting any notifications what to do. I have done all steps to reset, reboot, update, holding upper volume key with switch on button, red button reset, etc.but no change what to do
Whats the point in having the drag down button option to turn off internet and wi-fi connections if the phone is gonna keep reminding me every 20 secs that ' Mobile data is off ' and thus stopping the phone from going into auto sleep mode?
I cant copy messages from my Mobile to Pc via Nokia Suite..I even uninstalled and Installed PC Suitefreshly...Same problem repeats...The problem is that whenever I copy a message from My Mobile Using PC Suite the program just stops responding and nedds to close it ..Other than than everythng is fine.. I've just bought a used phone the old users reset it back to factory settings, the phone is locked to T Mobile i recently got a new t mobile sim card it loads up fine but i notice that it says on mobile network 'network unavailble' seems to not be connected to a network even though it should be connected to T mobile.when i click on it in the operator selection i choose T Mobile but it says 'no access' i also cant make any calls on it when i do any call it says 'emergency calls only'
I bought a used Nokia N8 (without sim) which was reset to factory settings by the last owner.i used my sim on it and it loads up fine but i cant register the sim card because it doesnt have a mobile network available? i also cant phone with it etc. when i try to find the mobile network it says no access
why the mobile network setting would change on its own. I have specifically changed from "any cdma" to "automatic". I have not determined when the phone switched back to "any cdma". I don't believe I powered the phone down. The only reason I checked was when I noticed the 3G data was running slow. I notice a pretty drastic speed increase when using the automatic setting. Is there something that triggers the phone to revert back to "any cdma"?
what are other ways to talk using mobile data or mobile internet for free like Skype. On my Nokia 701 i have communicator and in connectivity-admin settings i have SIP.I don't know how to use them.
Out of nowhere my cell has stopped reading memory card. I restarted my phone aswel but still it doesn't work. connecting to pc even won't show memory card! what should i do?
I have a problem I bought the SU-33W receiver into Mobile TV DVB-H. When you download from the nokia mobile tv application error pops up and download the installation again.
The browser on my Nokia 701 is great -certainly much better than past versions- but websites 'see' it as a full size browser and so deliver it full size web pages. I have found this leads to much dragging and zooming. If the site also has pop-ups (which can fully obscure the screen!) this can lead to misclicks, impossible to navigate sites etc. Also full size webpages are slow to load and more expensive on data.
This issue has led me to either manually navigating to the mobile versions of the websites I like (bit of a pain) or to simply use the Opera Mini browser instead. The Opera browser is free and websites 'recognise' it as a mobile browser. This means without any work when I surf I instantly get the mobile version of the website I want (assuming one exists), easy to navigate and fast (and so cheaper) to load. In many cases this works much better for me.
So I think Nokia have missed a trick here. Maybe they should offer a feature whereby the user can tell their browser to find either mobile-friendly pages or normal ones. They could even add in a second browser shortcut, one which launches the Nokia browser in a 'mobile' mode.
Now running a 701, beautiful phone to handle and use...now that it has stopped sending my personal information to Nokia via 360Panel [rolls eyes]
