Feb 18, 2012
I cant copy messages from my Mobile to Pc via Nokia Suite..I even uninstalled and Installed PC Suitefreshly...Same problem repeats...The problem is that whenever I copy a message from My Mobile Using PC Suite the program just stops responding and nedds to close it ..Other than than everythng is fine.. Just tell me anyother tool to copy message from My Nokia C3-00 to my PC
I am not able to copy all the inbox messages from nokia PC Suite to my nokia 808. When i am trying to copy the messages saved/synced with nokia PC Suite back to my mobile, only some messages are getting copied back to mobile and some are not getting copied.
When I off the mobile data option, it start giving me messages in every five seconds repeatedly on top right corner of the screen that "mobile data off".
Here in Pakistan mobile internet is very expensive. And I don't want to connect my mobile to internet through mobile data. how can I get rid of "mobile data off" messages.
I want to copy my all SMS (Inbox, Sent, Draft, My Folders etc.) to my computer disk. I want it to be done in format in which I can open it and read it not in a format like nokia back-up (.nbu). How to do it? Is there any other tool available for it. I am using Ovi Suite 3.3.86.
A friend of mine has downloaded some Digital Apps from store and got activated for all of them. Now, he asked for my help to copy all the DRM apps from his old Nokia Phone to another brand new phone, hence I'd like to ask:1. Is it possible to copy the .dcf & .dr file from Nokia Phone to PC?2. If so, what apps should I use?3. He once showed me the WAP Push message received for .dr file, but I have no way to find it from his phone, but the Apps works perfectly. Any in-phone software to view this kind of DR files?
I was just wondering is there anyway to get a copy of your messages, some-one told me i should contact nokia & they will provide me copies, i was wondering that can you actually get copies through email or to another number?
Anyone know how where I can download a copy of Nokia Drop for my N8 Belle please?beta labs have scrapped the project and I lost the app when I had to hard reset my phone.
I had the situation where I had some messages on the C drive and some on the Mass memory so wanted to transfer them all over to the mass memory.I used PC Suite and copied messages from the phone to a folder on my PC. I then disconnected the phone and switched it to mass storage for messages and I can't find a way to transfer from PC to phone.I cant make a new folder via PC suite, I can't located the inbox via file manager so I cant copy them to anywhere.
Im trying to save the text I have received in an email message, but i can't find any way of doing it ! No copy/paste option that i can find.....I tried moving it to another folder, but it only gives me the option to move it to the Inbox where it already is. And I cant find how to create a new folder. is the email client just not good enough in my beloved N8?
Using the latest Ovi suite (updated through updates, not sure v number though). I received an X6 today. Seems pretty nice so far. However, had some issues transferring text messages between phones - it broke the dates on the MMS and left me with a bit of a messy inbox on my X6. So, I synced messages using Ovi suite from my old N82, and they all copied onto my PC fine. However, if I now connect my X6 to my PC and hit sync messages, it just says 'done', and doesn't copy my messages from my PC to my X6. Is there any way to do this? I'd like to keep all my old texts from my N82 and transfer them to my X6.
I have a NOKIA E51 phone.I am transferring my SIM card to a new NOKIA E71.I have dozens of SMS messages (in several folders) on my Nokia E51.I dont want to lose them. I'd much rather keep them. How do I transfer these messages (and folders) onto my new E71 ?Unfortunately, I cant see any way to store them on the SIM card itself.Or is there a way?
How i can copy all my sms text messages from my old mobile which is a nokia symbian s60 to the se xperia x10 mini pro please because i cant see how and i dont think i can do it through the sync program, it only seems contacts can be copied over from the old phone through the sync program.
I have a Nokia e71 and currently my screen is broken.I've since bought a new phone but would love to get all the messages I'd previously saved. My new phone can sync with the Nokia but only picked up the messages in the inbox/drafts, not the messages I had in my 'saved messages' / 'my folders' whatever its calledIf someone has access to a Nokia e71 it would be great if they would let me know (including how many clicks across, middle button etc as I will be doing this blind!) how to select all messages in my folders and copy them to the inbox.
I think there is a bug in 808 3g mobile data connection which causes the phone to turn off. It happened when you are in zero or weak connection. There is no problem if I turn mobile data off or use WiFi only. This is annoying especially if you use always on Whatsapp.
Every 24 hrs at 00:00 Mobile Data Switches itself on I have the moved the clock by 24 hrs and at 00:00 Mobile Data switches on again so it is tied to the phone time not the network it will the not do it till 24 hrs latter at 00:00 this does not then turn off As stated I never had this problem before FP2 although this is a replacement PhoneI have all the same Apps but have now deleted Solos World traveler as I thought this was the program causing it Checked so Far Nokia Product Inprovement turned off Software Updates turned off Time update set to Manual The only one left is Neqin but is not set to Up date
As I have had to delete all my Data access points to stop it using data only using wi-fi Nokia 701 FP2 Unbranded Phone on O2 PAYG
I've just bought a used phone the old users reset it back to factory settings, the phone is locked to T Mobile i recently got a new t mobile sim card it loads up fine but i notice that it says on mobile network 'network unavailble' seems to not be connected to a network even though it should be connected to T mobile.when i click on it in the operator selection i choose T Mobile but it says 'no access' i also cant make any calls on it when i do any call it says 'emergency calls only'
I bought a used Nokia N8 (without sim) which was reset to factory settings by the last owner.i used my sim on it and it loads up fine but i cant register the sim card because it doesnt have a mobile network available? i also cant phone with it etc. when i try to find the mobile network it says no access
I have just received a replacement 701 phone and set it up I do not use Mobile data due to cost I only switch on if desperate so mainly use wi-fi so Mobile data is switched offThe last two days when behave come to the phone mobile data has switched on and has dowloaded dataSo some thing must be switching it on to update !!!!!ne of the main suspects are Psiloc World Traveler so made sure its manual updateThe other is Netqin Mobile Security so made sure access point is my wireless router have had to temp delete all my O2 mobile data access points till I sort itMy worry is How can a program switch the mobile Data on when it has been set
Out of nowhere my cell has stopped reading memory card. I restarted my phone aswel but still it doesn't work. connecting to pc even won't show memory card! what should i do?
I have a problem I bought the SU-33W receiver into Mobile TV DVB-H. When you download from the nokia mobile tv application error pops up and download the installation again.
The browser on my Nokia 701 is great -certainly much better than past versions- but websites 'see' it as a full size browser and so deliver it full size web pages. I have found this leads to much dragging and zooming. If the site also has pop-ups (which can fully obscure the screen!) this can lead to misclicks, impossible to navigate sites etc. Also full size webpages are slow to load and more expensive on data.
This issue has led me to either manually navigating to the mobile versions of the websites I like (bit of a pain) or to simply use the Opera Mini browser instead. The Opera browser is free and websites 'recognise' it as a mobile browser. This means without any work when I surf I instantly get the mobile version of the website I want (assuming one exists), easy to navigate and fast (and so cheaper) to load. In many cases this works much better for me.
So I think Nokia have missed a trick here. Maybe they should offer a feature whereby the user can tell their browser to find either mobile-friendly pages or normal ones. They could even add in a second browser shortcut, one which launches the Nokia browser in a 'mobile' mode.
Now running a 701, beautiful phone to handle and use...now that it has stopped sending my personal information to Nokia via 360Panel [rolls eyes]
