I was just wondering is there anyway to get a copy of your messages, some-one told me i should contact nokia & they will provide me copies, i was wondering that can you actually get copies through email or to another number?

I had the situation where I had some messages on the C drive and some on the Mass memory so wanted to transfer them all over to the mass memory.I used PC Suite and copied messages from the phone to a folder on my PC. I then disconnected the phone and switched it to mass storage for messages and I can't find a way to transfer from PC to phone.I cant make a new folder via PC suite, I can't located the inbox via file manager so I cant copy them to anywhere.
View 6 Replies View RelatedUsing the latest Ovi suite (updated through updates, not sure v number though). I received an X6 today. Seems pretty nice so far. However, had some issues transferring text messages between phones - it broke the dates on the MMS and left me with a bit of a messy inbox on my X6. So, I synced messages using Ovi suite from my old N82, and they all copied onto my PC fine. However, if I now connect my X6 to my PC and hit sync messages, it just says 'done', and doesn't copy my messages from my PC to my X6. Is there any way to do this? I'd like to keep all my old texts from my N82 and transfer them to my X6.

I'd much rather keep them.How do I transfer these messages (and folders) onto my new E71 ?Unfortunately, I cant see any way to store them on the SIM card itself.Or is there a way?

I selected the digital copy to be in iTunes rather then Windows Media Player since figure more chance of viewing in future if I get a iPad or something.
So it downloaded to my iTunes put it in my movies section, then I connected my iPhone to iTunes and click sync Movies and made sure it was selected.
But now I get a error message stating "Fast Five was not copied to the iPhone "Lanky71" because it cannot be played on this iPhone"

View 10 Replies View Relatedso my old nokia n95 is out of warranty, the phone is kinda in bits now, it turns on etc, just the buttons dont work, thats why its apart, I Kinda tried to fix it, I didnt make it worse either though, my problem is the main buttons dont respond, numbers etc do.. I have loads of old pics and videos I wanted to copy over, but when I connect to pc I have to choose an option like data transfer, but I cand as the buttons dont work, is there anyway around that, Theres a lot of memories I need to copy please help if you can.
