Nokia :: E72 How To Auto Copy Myself While Sending Emails?
Jun 2, 2010
I've set my email using the 'Other' IMAP option. I want to autocopy/cc myself to all the replies I send using my phone. Is there a way to set this for my email account ?
I noticed on my phone bill this month that my phone had been sending literally hundreds of automatic text messages (SMS) to four numbers, at all different times of the day and night. I'm in the UK, and the numbers it's sending to are -
They're all included in my price plan, so it's not cost me anything, but I thought it was strange and started to investigate. I had noticed my text message allocation had been going down, even though most of my txts are to other iOS users, so I mostly use iMessage.
It turns out those numbers all belong to Apple - they're used for activating iMessage and FaceTime. And the reason it was trying so many times, is that the number my phone says in "my number" (Settings > Phone > My Number) isn't actually my number. I noticed this a while back, but it won't let me amend it, and because I thought it was just there for my information, I ignored it. So - I'm trying to activate iMesssage and FaceTime using my correct number. The number stored on the phone then tries to override that, attempting to activate the wrong number, which, of course, fails. So it keeps trying to activate - so far, having sent an average of 10-15 messages a day, over the course of 2 months. The incorrect number on the sim card is because I got a new account with my network (3), then swapped my old number from my previous carrier to this card. The only way to fix it is to get a new sim card, since I'm not able to amend the number stored on the sim.
how I can get a copy of emails sent from my Blackberry automatically on to my pc - the only way I can presently do this is by cc/bcc - ing myself, which is not practical
My iphone 4 always shutdown when I'm sending text or i received text. Also when my battery is 50%. But when I'm charging while texting it's not shutting down.
When selecting a contact to send a message to, the drop down list auto fills with some of my contacts which start with the letters I am keying in, but it does not auto fill with all the relevant contacts, missing out most of the contacts which start with the letter or name I am keying in? E.g if I was sending to a contact called "Paul" Keying in "P" would only bring up a few of the contacts I have starting with "Paul" but no all of them Even if I continue to key in the full name the auto fill does not seem to find the exact same name which is in my contacts Is there any way to turn off this auto fill so you can manually select the contacts I wish to sent the message to?
Just got my GS6 about 2 weeks ago and then had my work email/outlook added to it. Now all of my texts are being auto-forwarded to my work email, which I do not want! How do I stop this from happening? I saw a similar thread about SGS2's, but I think the locations of settings must have changed a bit because those directions were not completely compatible. I want to make sure I can still view my work email on my phone; just don't want my personal texts going into my work's email/network.
My iPhone wont send any emails, but it does receive them. I have tried to set up the accounts multiple times without any solution to the problem. It won't send on wifi or 3g, either.
It just comes up with a huge red X and doesn't send then I try browser and that's buggering up as well. And I tried both emails and it says the same for both.
My bb tour 9630 won't send or receive emails and bbm. The phone sill works. Services Status tells me I am not connected but I can't connect. It stopped working yesterday.
I'm using a Curve 8530 on Verizon. When on OWA, if I forward or start a new email message, it will send 9-10 duplicated messages to the recipient. This doesn't happen when replying, just on new and forwarded messages.
We have a client that is having a few problem with sending emails.
When they send emails from inside the network (Via wireless) the email send OK. If they try sending an email from outside the network 5 mins later they get a red cross next to the email they just sent. They could be sending via 3g or on their home wireless.
They don't have a Blackberry server, they send through their providers website, (I.E they log onto their blackberry account and the exchange account is set up in there). (Think its called Blackberry internet service??) When logging in to the account everything is set up OK as they have the green tick to say so.
They have exchange 2003 version 6.5 (Build 7638.2 with service pack 2.
I have not been one to use GMAIL much until recently, and now I am hooked on it. However, I discovered a problem that I am very dissapointed in learning. When I send a message from my gmail web client, I often would like to bcc myself so that I have a copy of that message on the device when i am away from the computer. That is the point to having a BlackBerry.....right???he problem is GMAIL and/or RIM but this must be one of the MOST ludicrous things I have encountered. Here is some more information on the problem... CauseGmail webmail accounts do not have separate sent items and inbox folders. The Gmail account web page contains a Sent Mail link on the left side, but this is not a separate folder from the inbox. Gmail email messages are grouped into conversations, resulting in all sent email messages and replies from others appearing as a single email message entry in the inbox. This grouping allows for easy reading and viewing on the Gmail web page, but in the past, when integrated with the BlackBerry Internet Service account, results in copies of sent email messages arriving on the BlackBerry smartphone as new email messages.BlackBerry Internet Service 2.6 now automatically filters out any new email message that has also been flagged as a Sent Item. These messages are no longer delivered to the BlackBerry smartphone. As a result, email messages sent from the mailbox to itself are also being filtered out. URL...
I have been using gmail on my blackberry for a month without problems, it just comes straight to the inbox on the main screen of the phone.Today my Blackberry stopped sending emails but still recieves them. When I try to delete anything in the inbox, it merely gives them a "yellow" star but does not remove them
Can I edit my forward emails before sending them out?
I have diffulties trying to do that and it is strange because I understand from users who are using BOLD they can edit their emails before it was forwarded.
I have two email addresses set up on my phone, they are enterprise ones, I have always had access to send, forward emails for these accounts, now all of a sudden, I cannot forward or send new emails but can respond and am receiving emails. I called vodacom, they tell me that my account is an BIS and now I must change it to a BES account and reset up my account, but can only be done for the 1st of the month, and they cannot tell me why this has happened.
I'm wondering if I have my WiFi turned on while at home and I have full signal does the unit use data when receiving emails and sending emails or does it go through the WiFi connections? What about BBM?
There was an update to my phone about ten days ago. Now when I try to reply to any message I get "Cannot Send Mail. A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient xxx@xxxx.com was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying". This has never happened before in the year I have owned the phone.
i i was wondering if sending emails off my blackberry curve costs me money (as in takes my credit). My phone is pay as you go, im not on any contract and i use the wifi at my house.
On my Motorola Electrify...I am currently synced with my company MS Cloud email using corporate sync. There seems to be an issue with the phone sending out duplicate replies to the same recipient when I reply to their email from the phone. Looking back in the "Sent" folder on my phone I see 4 or 5 copies of the same reply.
Is it possible to get a virus on ur phone? One of my friends texted me saying I sent out an email from my phone with a link in it saying something about a virus. My email is a hotmail address And I usually use it from my phone Now. there was only one friend who mentioned anything but I didn't ask around as I have many emails on my phone. Something I can do to get rid of this?
I have started getting hundreds of emails everyday with Network@etp address. First time it happened I had turn the phone to silent for a movie and when I came out to check my phone I had 450 new emails! I have checked everything on the web I can find, I wiped my phone and set up my emails for internet, uninstalled Blackberry Desktop Manager and made sure I'm NOT on the enterprize system. I have removed the Service Book items. I have made sure my email does not do any auto-replies.
I recently applied the latest blackberry update to v.6.0. ever since, any meeting requests i send from my BB send to my invites as blank emails. never had this issue prior.
My blackberry has suddenly stopped sending & receiving emails, cannot work out why, have not changed any settings. When I took it in to the T-mobile shop they said I needed to install some updates, which I did, but it still isn't getting or sending any emails!
It has been working fine, but has stopped automatically sending or receiving emails. I have taken out the sim card and hard rebooted, I have resent the service books, but it still isn't working.
