View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter only a couple of days with my torch and not having modified it all, all of a sudden when I click on the TEXT message icon, it just shows my regular inbox.It used to show only SMS messages and was really cool. Now it shows emails and all!
I dont see anywhere to change this back to the original behavior. I did a hard reset with no luck.So far I love my phone even with the minor annoyances like it hangs for a few seconds after unlocking it everytime, fine I can live with that. But I really want to fix this text message thing
I have a bb torch, need to recover deleted text and mms from about a month or 2 ago, since those messages were deleted, there has been a lot of text message activity and deletion.The corporation i work for has sent the device off to 'forensics' (not sure who to)What is the likelyhood of these texts being recovered?off the device or the sim card.I do not have a backup file.I dont think i had the 'save to sim' option checked.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have deleted the text messages. However, it wasn`t deleted from that "event log"... i don`t know how u call it. It that log that is below the clock... that has the most recent messages, tex messages, facebook messages, etc. When I delete the emails, it automatically delete them from this log as well. But with the text messages it is not working. i delete them inside the text messages area, but it don`t get deleted from that other log.

They show in the sms folder highlighted green i.e as it shows a draft sms however when I click into them there is nothing in there. Does anybody know what the reason for this is and how I can fix it/get these messages back or at least stop it from doing it again.
I have already set the storage to keep forever so should not be deleted automatically.
How do you either copy or save a whole text message conversation? It seems to only save or forward the last message in the whole conversation.

All the texts i hve sent are at the top of the screen, followed by the incoming texts at the bottom of the screen. It reads that every single incoming text is recieved at 1050am, even though my all read sent at the correct time. The time on the phone is correct so I'm sure whats going on. " UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION: JAVA.LANG. INDEX OUT OF BOUNDS EXCEPTION"
It will not allow me to view or even open the folder.I have tried rebooting it by taking the battery out etc, no joy.
When I try to attach and image I don't have the option to select the image....I can only view the image, just like view pictures on the camera, that's it. When go to the picture first through the camera, I don't have a "send" button either.
