My text messages keep disappearing. At times only see my message to my friends and not their responses. This was happening on my previous BB Bold which was new in April. My texts worked until June and have not worked since. We purchased a new BB Torch and it is still happening. I am on the Sprint Network.
I have had my Torch 9850 for LESS than a month and all my text messages keep disappearing. They can't be found anywhere in my text message list and I have to start a new 'thread' with text messages with people. I keep losing messages that I need to keep. How can I make it keep ALL text messages? Also is there a way to back up text messages from my blackberry??
I am using the Blackberry Storm, I believe the 9530 (its the first gen). Anyway, just recently my text messages only stay for a couple of days and then they delete themselves or simpley disappear.
There have been numerous cases where I need the information someone sent me in those messages, but I can't seem to find them. Is there something wrong with how the phone is set up? Is this a memory thing? Is there a way to get those messages back, are they stored somewhere?
After a couple of days sometimes a week after I have a text conversation I will go back to that conversation and either all of it is gone, part of it is missing or just the other persons texts are missing .... does anyone know why this is..... I have the options on keep forever.... are they archived? if so how would I pull them up....
My Samsung Galaxy S5 will notify me I have a text and it shows up in the task bar. I can pull the task bar down to read it. After I close the task bar it's like the text never existed. The text does not show up in the messages app either.
I have tried clearing out the memory and several reboots. I also installed a virus protection program in case it was that. I went back to the plain messages app from the messenger plus, that did not do the trick either. Nothing seems to work.
My Galaxy S6 has been great except for one huge problem I've noticed. Random text messages disappear. And they don't just disappear inconspicuously.. they disappear AS I'M READING THEM.
I will get a message, open up the messaging app, start reading it, get halfway through it, and BAM, the message vanishes and it never comes back.
Restarting the phone doesn't bring it back, it's just gone. I know that some messages disappear because I SEE them disappear, but what gets me is how many messages have a missed that have been sent, and my phone just makes them vanish before I read or even notice them?
Here's a video showing a message disappearing on my Galaxy S6.
I have an HTC Touch (not pro) flashed for Cricket using the OS modded by TooG. I use Microsoft MyPhone to backup all my data to my MyPhone account. My phone completely locked up and I ended up doing a hard re-set on my phone. I installed the MyPhone application (a copy I have stored in my MicroSD) and started the restore process. The data seems to have come back fine, with all my contacts, calendar, photos, and music being restored properly.
Problem #1) When I get a text message, I get the alert that I have a new text message and I see the first sentence of the message. To read the whole message I normally just tapped the alert and it would open the message. Now, I tap the message and it brings me to my Inbox, but no sign of the text message anywhere. I cannot find the message to read the message.
Problem #2) Text messages used to be stored in threads arranged according to date, and sender. On the main text message list, it would show newest messages on top, and when you opened the message, it would show the message history from that person. But now, Incoming message are in an INBOX, and all sent messages are in a SENT box. To follow a conversation, you would need to go back and forth. VERY ANNOYING.
I've noticed this twice today. I'm in the middle of a conversation in iMessage with another iPhone user. I'm responding to their message, and they send me another before I can finish mine. I see it for a split second, and then it disappears.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1, with another iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1
I got a bb 9900 and the text messages inside the sms folder keeps missing. Sometimes it shows I have many messages and the the next moment it disappears. I have set the message validity period to maximum. still this keeps happening.

After only a couple of days with my torch and not having modified it all, all of a sudden when I click on the TEXT message icon, it just shows my regular inbox. It used to show only SMS messages and was really cool. Now it shows emails and all!
I dont see anywhere to change this back to the original behavior. I did a hard reset with no luck.So far I love my phone even with the minor annoyances like it hangs for a few seconds after unlocking it everytime, fine I can live with that. But I really want to fix this text message thing
I have a bb torch, need to recover deleted text and mms from about a month or 2 ago, since those messages were deleted, there has been a lot of text message activity and deletion. The corporation i work for has sent the device off to 'forensics' (not sure who to)What is the likelyhood of these texts being recovered?off the device or the sim card.I do not have a backup file.I dont think i had the 'save to sim' option checked.
One day it was working, and then i noticed every word i type is underlined like it may be misspelled. I tried removing the battery but it didnt help. What do i do. The auto correct doesnt work. Im should b corrected to I'm but it isnt as you can see by this message.
I have an E75. Is there anyone out there who could tell me what's happening? I've set the memory the phone will use to save messages to the memory card. Each time the phone discharges and I am not able to plug it in before it does, all my messages disappear. Now I really don't know what's wrong.Anyone out there with an answer? Or anyone who could at least narrow it down?
previously i was told to get Magicberry in order to copy messages from my daughters phone to my pc. i have some of them already. it's been awhile since i originally did this. how do i import from the phone to the p
I have deleted the text messages. However, it wasn`t deleted from that "event log"... i don`t know how u call it. It that log that is below the clock... that has the most recent messages, tex messages, facebook messages, etc. When I delete the emails, it automatically delete them from this log as well. But with the text messages it is not working. i delete them inside the text messages area, but it don`t get deleted from that other log.
I can see the first few words when I open my text messages, but cannot see the rest of the message when I click on or open the message.I can see the history and full message content from everyone else, just not messages from this one contact.
I have noticed that some of my old text message on my bb torch no longer seem to appear. They show in the sms folder highlighted green i.e as it shows a draft sms however when I click into them there is nothing in there. Does anybody know what the reason for this is and how I can fix it/get these messages back or at least stop it from doing it again.
I have already set the storage to keep forever so should not be deleted automatically.
On a lot of my text messages, I keep receiving the instruction "Short message transfer rejected" and the text will not go through. I can receive texts from these same numbers but I get this message all the time. Went to Bell but they said it was a blackberry issue.
on my screen next to the name of contact and the text, the symol is a red clock stating that my message hasn't been sent. I know my contacts aren't recieveing the messages and I have no clue how to get my phone to send my txt messages
Am going through a separation with hubby right now and I was told to save all my text messages to my SIM Card - I want to know how I can go in and get them and print them off?
On my text messages i can send and receive but when i send my message goes back up to the top of my recipients messages, so my recipients messages come one after another and mine go to the top of the pile, not one after another as they should do. Plus its the same time stuck on every single text message i receive?
I have the black berry torch 9800. I cannot get into text messages. When I click on it it says: Uncaught exception:Java.lang.indexoutofbounds exception.I called att&t, they told me I need to update the OS, I tried to from my device, it takes forever saying preparing to download then I get a message saying Update cannot continue. Update ising blackberry desktop manager on your computer.Version says 6.0 bundle 2342, which I dont see any mention of this anywhere on the web.I tried using Wi-fi only, then att&t network only, then both, it still will not download. I want to get to my text messages.
I just upgraded from the 8830 to the BB Torch, I wanted to start fresh with settings and auto text so I didn't want to go with the conventional way of getting everything from my old phone to my new one. I got all my tasks, calendar, memo, and contacts by syncing with outlook. My question is this, is there an easy way to import all my old text messages? I use them a lot for reference, and would like to have them available on my new phone.
I can't recieve texts. I get the alertand the flashing blue light, but when I check "messages" it says there are no messagesand then the flashing blue light stops. I can send texts, but can't recieve. checked the firewall -nothing is checked to block anything. I even disabled the firewall.
