IPhone :: Lost Contacts Not On ICloud?
Jul 2, 2012I reset my iPhone 4s. I had backed it up to the computer, a Mac Book Pro. iCloud back up was on on the phone. Only a few of my phone contacts saved to the cloud. I didn't realize this until after the phone was reset. Apple said that they probably didn't all save because there wasn't enough icloud space. The genius bar has tried to help and tech support has also. No luck. One apple genius bar person said that they were gmail contacts and get them from gmail. I I can't find anything but my email addresses on my gmail account.

Apr 6, 2012I have a PC, iPhone and iPad on which contacts, reminders and calendar are turned on in iCloud.
Everything used to work fine. I missed a meeting on Thursday because it did not snych into me iPhone. I noticed contact changes were not synching. I turned of Contact Synching on the iPhone, selected keep contact on iPhone.
All contacts were erased on the iPhone. Turned synch back on and nothing downloads to the iPhone I checked iCloud on the web and the contacts are there.

Mar 30, 2012I turned on the "contacts" feature in the iCloud menu in settings on my iPhone4. I ended up with a lot useless email addresses from my yahoo contact list that was cluttering up my phone contacts (actual phone numbers.) I thought I could undo this by turning off the contacts feature in iCloud. Instead, it wiped ALL of my phone number information in contacts, and left me with just the list of my email addresses, which I don't need. I am desperate to recover all those phone numbers!

Jun 19, 2012At this point in time, Verizon is becoming too expensive and i'm looking to move to T-Mobile. I plan to purchase an Unlocked iPhone 4S from the Apple website. I went to a T-Mobile store and a rep told me that they can configure something so i can send MMS messages. (I know i can't use visual voice mail and I'll be on the slower Edge network) But is the rep right? Would i be able to send MMS messages?Another question: Will iMessage still work? and if so, could i send photos over iMessage?

I want to start using icloud. Is there a disadvantage to not converting my mobile me account and just starting with an icloud account with the gmail address I have rather than a me.com email address. I have never really utilized the me.com email.

Oct 4, 2011why the mobile network setting would change on its own. I have specifically changed from "any cdma" to "automatic". I have not determined when the phone switched back to "any cdma". I don't believe I powered the phone down. The only reason I checked was when I noticed the 3G data was running slow. I notice a pretty drastic speed increase when using the automatic setting.Is there something that triggers the phone to revert back to "any cdma"?
