I received my N97 mini two days and now attempting to transfer some music on it. I have connected the phone to my laptop via USB with everything set up successfully; however, there is no 'music' folder in any of the drives visible so I don't know where to store the music files.
what I can do to transfer music over?
i m facing problem of recently installed apps that are not showing up in apps folder n i would say anywhere, but these are being shown as installed apps in apps manager n i have firmware 0.81 that is the latest one as it is shown in my SW update...
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy question has nothing to do with a hardware issue. In itunes I have about 300 or so ringtones in the MUSIC folder. How I did that is beyond me. I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to move them all to the TONES folder where they belong.

I tried transferring a few different folders with music in them to my N700 but no matter how I do it , they don't end up in the "MUSIC PLAYER" folder . In the end , I use the "old Nokia suite" to drag & drop & it did end up in the right folder but not with its own folder , they end up as 1 folder with all the music in it.

I can't even delete those sound files from my photos folder. Everytime I sync, a duplicate music file is synched to the wrong folder. It uses up memory and, well, it's annoying. Can anyone help?

I am trying to play them using the default music player, which I belive is the only player that can show up on the home screen. I can create my own playlist, but it looks like I have to add songs one by one to the playlist, which is a huge pain.
If I use "all songs", then some of the garbage ringtones and mp3s that came with the phone also get included.
So how do I add a large amount of songs to a playlist?
On a side note, the default music player doesn't support OGG files. How do I enable OGG support on default music player?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI downloaded mp3 files, put them in LG PC Suite and transfered them to my G3 and when I open the standard music app (the purple square) it doesn't see the mp3's. So I looked for them in my file manager and saw all of them stored in the LG PC Suite Folder. Even after transfering the mp3's to the Music Folder the music app didn't see the mp3's. I did use PowerAmp which works great. But I'd still like to use the standard music app which i find easier to use.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded my firmware and then maps on my phone. To upgrade the maps I used maps_installer_3.04_10wk17_b07_s60_5.0.Nocs.sis. The install has worked as my maps interface is now different to the previous version. However I have no map showing at all, I can get the little red dot that shows my position, I can get my poition in lattitude and longitude, but that is all. At the bottom of the screen, left hand corner, I get a flashing gps icon with 0.00kb showing, which I assume is the indicator that is waiting for map data, but nothing happens after that.
I have looked on the maps bit of Ovi to try and find the map for my country (UK) but to no avail, it says on the Ovi page to open up Ovi, go to VIEW then maps, there is no VIEW! Also I cannot exit the application by clicking the X in the bottom corner of the menu. I have to exit by pressing the red button on my phone.
Recently updated my Nokia N97 to newest version but now for some reason I got a quite annoying problem.After the update to v21 I updated my music libray as after the update I "had" no songs for some reason 30 mins later it had fond 2500 tracks I then did a new playlist with Ovi music player and transfered it to my phone. The playlist contained 16 songs but only 8 is showing on my phone and my phone says 16 songs aswell but only shows 8!?! Ive checked the storage management and the tracks has been succesfully been transfered. To sum it up: Some tracks aint showing for some odd reason never had this problem before the update.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy phone said "memory full, delete some data",Ever since, all my tracks bar 3 are not showing on the memory card, neither are about 90% of my sound, image and video files.
Basically, my memory card is only showing a very small number of files and the rest I cannot access. Phone is N73 that caused this. Memory card is Mini SD.Ive used data cable and is still the case on the laptop, also tried memory card reader. Still exactly the same only showing small number of actual files. I can see the folder names however it says empty. But in properties it still recognizes the fact that that 1.9GB is used of 2.0GB. However I can only access about 100MB of those files.

For some reason, when I send emails through hotmail on my phone, they do not show up in the sent folder on my hotmail account, when I access it on my PC. This issue does not occur with the work email. I did not have this problem with my previous BB curve, and all the settings appear to be the same.

Till a few days back, everything was working perfectly but suddenly, some automatic change happened in the filters of both accounts, and I'm able to see only emails marked 'Important' in those icons. For all the other emails, I have to go to the 'Messages' icon.
When I check the Filter option for my gmail (or official mail) icon, I saw that it was default marked to 'Important'. I am able to change it to 'Inbox' and see my inbox emails temporarily but there's no option of saving that filter type. When I open my gmail (or official mail) icon the next time, I only see the 'Imporant' mails.

The folder simply isn't there, and no photos appear from my iPad. Both are running the latest iOS, have iCloud enabled, My Photo Stream is enabled on both under iCloud and under Settings>Photos & Camera. What do I need to do to fix this?
