Jun 27, 2010Is there a way of making the phone ring for longer on the N97 Mini atall? It rings for a few seconds then I have a missed call, can it be extended.

Nokia :: X6 Bluetooth Connection To Hands Free Kit - Disconnecting Every 25 Seconds And Then Reconnecting 25 Seconds Later
May 20, 2010Have just got my new X6 and its great except that i am having problems with my connection to my bluetooth car kit. It connects fine and has paired with it but it seems to disconnecting every 25 seconds or so and then reconnecting 25 seconds later. Its driving me bananas cos each time it does it the radio cuts out. If i am on a call it seems to keep connection. I fell i may have missed a setting somewhere but cant find anything about this.

May 10, 2011I updated my my phone to 2.1v1. It is a new phone to me so not sure about its characteristics. When I bring the phone out of sleep by pressing the back button it will stay on for about 3 seconds then switch off. This without dragging the unlock button to unlock it. If I drag the unlock button it will stay on as usual. So is it normal for the phone to switch itself off after 2/3 seconds if the screen is untouched?

Nov 2, 2011Been a happy Sprint user since 2005 and have used various dumb phones and smartphones. The Photon is my 3rd Android.I have noticed that each phone , whether smartphone or not, has the same issue that has caused me to miss incoming phone calls here and there - the caller dials my number and hears several rings before my phone actually starts ringing. The phone goes to voicemail before I have the opportunity to answer the phone.The solution for my phones has always been to adjust the Slot Cycle index from the default setting of 2 to the setting of 0. This causes the phone to poll towers more frequently, thus the phone is more quickly aware of a new incoming call. The only negative implication is that the phone goes through battery a bit more quickly during the day...but it's really only a tiny difference. I've done this on my phones, on my spouse's phones, my mom's phone, etc.
Since the Photon's battery life is so much better than my prior phone (EVO 4G) I am very comfortable in adjusting the Slot Cycle index, so I obtained my MSL from Sprint and attempted the adjustment by going to the Dialer:##DATA# ->tap green Dial icon -> to the Data Settings menu...tap Advanced->From there you can see that the Slotted Index is set to 2. So I wanted to change the setting but can't get to it from Menu->Edit->enter MSL code->VerifyI called Sprint about this issue, and in the past they have helped me to change the setting. I have called more than once and have been dealing with the more advanced Tech Support team. No one at Sprint can figure out how to adjust this setting on the Photon.
Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Won't Turn On - Backlight Will Fade After 6 Seconds
Oct 3, 2012This had been bugging me for 3 days now. I don't have another phone to use. I've tried to repair the software using Update Service but it do no good. After pressing the On button at the top of the phone, the phone will vibrate after a sec and then there's a backlight but the "Sony Ericson" logo does not appear and after about 6 seconds the backlight will fade.

Feb 10, 2010Just got a new E75 and when I get an incoming phone call, the phone rings briefly, then goes silent. The caller continues to hear the ring until voice mail picks up. It happens whether I use a blue-toothed mpeg file or one of Nokia's pre-loaded ring tones. Service provider where we purchased the phone cannot find the problem.

Jul 1, 2010On main page in Active Standby, it shows all To-Dos as pending including those from future as well, like it will say 10 pending tasks while actually 2 are pending while 8 are still from some future date. This was not an issue with my earlier 6120.
To-Do alarm rings only once. Any time I miss a To-Do alarm there is no way that it reminds me again that I missed it until I check my Calender. There should be something like repeatedly ringing every 5 minutes till we respond.

Jul 29, 2010Is there anything to do but return this brick to the store? My new N900 will reset/restart about every 20 seconds, no matter what I do. I've tried with SIM, without SIM, with and without memory card, on and off charger... Invariably it will reboot within the minute. One time it even said "Device Malfunction. Device shutdown in 10 secs" on the white NOKIA screen. The FW version is 2.2009.51-1, but I can't upgrade to the newest version to see if that solves the problem. When I tried, I only got about half way through the download before the device rebooted again.

Only problem was She did not call! it was some creep who knew my name and got dc within 20 seconds.There is no record of the call in her mobile. but the service provider we both use logged teh 20 seconds call from her phone. When i told them that she had not made the call from her mobile and there was no such log on her phone. They refused to believe me and were adament that its not possible.After half an hour of useless arguments they simply refused to take my calls!When I called my freind and told her that some1 has been calling from her number without using her SIM. She also cannot believe its possible.Yet the call is logged on my phone n the service providers have also accepted it.I have heard bout viruses that send mass smses but this is the first time I have seen a phone number being used without its owner`s knowledge.More ever all the data on teh sim has also been apparently compromised.Since they knew my name as well.Now according to the service providers this is simply not possible and their system is secure.Is it possible that heckers can actuly take over a phone and gain access to all its data without the owner`s knowledge? I am extremely worried since the potential for crime and terrorism in my country is horrendously high. And with this kind of identity theft the number can be used for black mail extortion kidnapings for ransom even bomb blasts.. all of which are very common in Pakistan.

Jul 17, 2010I bought this phone specifically for listening to music, however it has a fatal flaw for me.I plug in the Nokia supplied earphones with or without the remote control, or standard earphones of any kind and the radio picks up stations and MP3's play beautifully.For 30 seconds.
Then the earphones disconnect or the radio stops playing and tells me to connect the wired headset, though it has not been disconnected or even budged on the table.I then stop the MP3 player or radio. Still not unplugging the earphones, and they miraculously reconnect again..I have just tested it and this happens with phone calls as well.I have updated the firmware to 10.01 and everything else works fine, just this disconnecting problem.
