Since I updated the software on my phone, the SMS messaging crashes all the time.
It was pretty slow before, but now it's unusable. I have tried app killer applications and tried deleting messaging history but it just can't seem to handle a simple request.
I love this phone, there's no other phone out there with the same design and shape, but I'm getting seriously fed up as this is not the first problem I've had. I think I will try a different manufacturer next time - SE have let me down.
I bought a x10 mini pro this week and the same day the phone arrived i updated to 2.1 with SE PC Companion software. I didnīt noticed if this happens to 1.6 duo to the short usage of this droid version.
Every time i starts the camera application or any application that uses the camera (like Google goggles for example), the phone aparently crashes and suddenly reboot. After the reboot, the camera used to work for the first times but about aprox 30 min. or less that the phone has been rebooted, when i try to start the camera, the phone crashes and restarts again.
Iīve tried to Repair the phone in pc Companion software and the issue continues the same.
I received my new x10 mini phone a few days ago and am really impressed by it.But...After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine. But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself
I got my Xperia mini pro (SK17i, Android 2.3.4, firmware 4.0.2.A.0.58 after update) a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, trying to activate my Google account during the setup procedure crashed/rebooted the phone twice in a row before I managed to complete the setup. Afterwards I have immediately updated to firmware 4.0.2.A.0.58 but still have experienced the occasional crash about 2-3 times a day.
Usually it happens when doing stuff with the phone. I have read that there is a new firmware update coming our way (4.0.2.A.0.6x) which is supposed to fix some memory management issues. Indeed, the last couple of times I have experienced crashes, the "crash log" in /proc/last_kmsg has shown Unable to handle kernel paging request (+ a nice trace) just before the kernel panicked and rebooted the phone.
This is an error that i noticed the last weeks ago how u can see in the video my smartphone crashed. I have also updated to the latest firmware. Does it happen that the smartphone do too much and just reboot?
the phone was purchased 4 months ago and regularly freezes and crashes when using it. The software also sometimes will perform the wrong function when an icon or button on the phone is pressed. I have tried updating the software to see if that would help but for the last 2 weeks I have been told that the Update Centre is overloaded and I can't download the new software.
Installed new Ovi suite and when I start it the splash screen starts and then I receive a Windows error message saying that Ovi encountered a problem etc and then closes the application. I have the e72 for two months now and I Use it for my business. The thing is that the phone keeps crashing in mid conversation in a rate of once or twice a week. When it crash and restarts itself it takes around a minute until I can make a phone call.
This is unacceptable from a business device. Sometimes it crash just as I press the answer key on an incoming call and on other occasions it crashes in mid conversation.
I have the newest firmware version 22.007 installed and I even installed handy manager just to make sure that the phone doesn't run out of memory (is doesn't. I usually have above 25mb ram left).
On the background I have TR Lite (original, bought from Ovi store) running and recording all conversation and sometimes I have Fring for Skype and msn. Both of these apps are not set to be System Application, so even if the phone should sun out of memory it will close them and not crash...
I don't know what to do any more I even formatted the phone and installed everything from the beginning. I have sent Nokia 2 emails about a month ago (from the contact us in the website) and got no reply. Is this just me or does this happen to other peoples as well?
Another problem that I have is when creating new email. In the past when ever I would write a new email I would get list of suggested email addresses in the "To" field. For example, if I would was to write the letter S I would get the suggested email address of the people in my address book whose name starts with an S (Sam, Sofia, Sandra, etc). For some reason this feature stopped working on my phone and I can't find how to make it work again. If I want to send an email I need to manually write the email address in the "To" field every time.
Earlier I was using a licensed version of Nokia Mpas but never faced this problem. Since the free navigation has become available for E71, I've started facing this problem. I did a hard reset, deleted "Cities" folder and just installed Maps, but error persists.
When I go to OVI Mpas tio download it, the file that I get is "Nokia maps." I know that Nokia and Ovi Maps are one and the same thing, but soem posts on this forum sugegst that they might be different.
When I come to open nokia ovi suite v126.96.36.199 while it is opening it crashes and i get the error Nokia Ovi Suite 2 has stopped working. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the problem still occurs. These are the details of the error i am getting and i also included a attachment that shows a preview image of the crash.

A few days ago I updated 220.127.116.11.4.1 to 245. Now the software always crashes when syncing (Bluetooth & USB) with Outlook 2010 x64. My OS is Win 7 - X64. It's really frustrating beeing not able to sync anymore. Does anybody Know an alternative software for this?
On N97 I had Ovi maps working like a breeze for some weeks now. All of a sudden I see this behaviour. Open Ovi Maps, see the main page, click on My Location the map appears a message about connecting might cost you something and the Ovi Maps disappears. What should I do the get Ovi Maps working againg. Oh, btw Internet works just fine.
I have brought this new N97. the camera does not work sometimes when ever i open the lens cover the screen appears blank and infact the videos in my mobile phone also does not play, only the sound is heard. I have to do the Factory Reset then only it works fine and resetting it works for few time and the problem occurs again. I Can't keep on resetting the phone again and again it has the latest software update V20.
I've been using Ovi Maps 3.03 since it came out on my E55 and I generally prefer it over my TomTom. There are however a couple of problems with it - one major, the other minor. The big problem is that it occasionally crashes; the application exits and I'm left with the menu screen. This is more than a nuisance when driving, as it takes a lot of button pressing to get back to the route. The problem seems to have started (hard to tell, as it only happens occasionally) when I used Map Loader for the first time and followed the instructions to reinstall the application, apparently with the same version. I have since uninstalled that copy and returned to the version I originally downloaded, but it hasn't made a difference. Is this a common problem? I don't suppose voice commands work with Maps, do they? The other problem is that the screensaver kicks in after 30-90 seconds - the screen goes dark - except when a route is set. Is there any way to disable this?
When i connect my nokia 5630 to my computer via usb, my pc detects it but before i can begin to install it, my pc crashes. Also, sometimes my pc doesn't crash ( i dont know why) but even then when i connect the mobile to the pc via usb, my pc continusly tries to install it as new hardware instead of detecting it in Pc Suite, and even then it never detects or installs it...
I did a firmware update on my e52 about a week or two ago and since then my phone has crashes and freezes when I plug it to my computer via USB cable and select PC Suite. It just crashes and the only thing that helps is removing the battery and even after that I need to repeat the battery removal for 2-3 times until it finally responds. Otherwise when I push the button to switch it on it just shakes, the screen stays blank and nothing else happens.
have anyone had similar problems with their Ovi Maps ? i.e. after I updated the firmware on my E71 (version 500.21.009), everytime I try to run Ovi Maps it crashes.I've tried to reinstall maps and the firmware, but with no luck - problem is still there.
I have a N82 that have a problem with Ovi Maps. Once I try to access the menu: Options -> Tools -> Settings -> Navigation then Ovi Maps crash and exits. I had this problem with earlier versions of Maps aswell, and I am really interested to fix this.
I have an issue with my Ovi Maps. I have Ovi Maps v3.01 09wk26 b02 running on Nokia N96.When I try to sync my favorites it crashes. Is there anyone with a solution? I have a lot of places marked which I need ro sync between Ovi Maps Online and phone.
I am using Nokia 5800 XM firmware 50 When I am listening music and opening in browser page http://habrahabr.ru/blogs/apple/95711/ (or any other big page) - browser showing alert "Not enough memory" and closing music player if in browser there is not only one tab - all other tabs also will be closed
Phone:PR1.2Custom version 014.002.269.03Product code 059C8T6Type RM-596Ovi Maps 3.06_11wk10_b01_tb9.2_comMap version 0.2.42.122I have a newly bought N8. Each time I start Ovi Maps it crashes after around 0.5-5 minutes. No other applications are launched in parallel. I have tried to play switching on and off different positioning methods All the same, it crashes with any combination I have tried. Even if I switch off all the methods except built-in GPS, it crashes. I have restored the factory settings and reinstalled the OS. Before installing some applications, I have tried to start Ovi Maps - it crashes all the same.It crashes in a strange way. It first freezes. Then in around 10 seconds the screen goes dark, then fully white and then the phone restarts. But it does not restart from the very beginning, as it does when you switch the phone off and switch it again (it shakes, then it asks SIM pin, then lock code). Instead, after Ovi Maps crash and the white screen, it shows the white screen with "nokia" on it (no pin codes are asked), then comes the desktop screen, no applications are running at this point yet, it does not react on the touch screen, no connection to the cell network. Then it starts to revive, connects to the GSM network, starts to react on the toch screen, on the button, refreshes the desktop, etc.
I have had my Lumia for 10 days and for the second time it crashes during the night and the next morning I was not able to turn it on using the power button. I had to do a soft reset... The alarm that I set to wake me up never started... This means that I cannot trust my phone for waking me up in the morning! This is unacceptable!
I use Nokia Pc Suite v7.1.60 with Win7 x64 SP1 to connect my E55 through Bluetooth with no problem. The problem is, when i open Pc Suite main screen and click 'Contacts', Communication Centre app doesn't open and crashes 'silently' and an error is logged in Event Log. See the screenshot link below:[URL] i try to open 'contacts' for twice with second click, it is opened with no error. That means Pc Suite has a bug that appears occasionaly with faulting ole32.dll module as can be seen by screenshot above. similar errors on Event Log of other Nokia Pc Suite users?
My N97 crashes out right after I enter my pin and will only turn back on if Iremove the battery and take out my sim.If I put the battery back in andswitch on the phone it comes on and works fine in ofline mode.I havereinserted my sim card and the phone comes on but as soon as I change back togeneral, silent or meeting the phone crashes.I have formated the mass memoryand done a hard reset but it still wont work in the online mode.
Previous version was just fine, updated to new version tried, uninstalling, reinstalled. etc but crashes every time. Was initially ok, when outlook was not selected as conduit. But then changed contacts, notes and cal to outlook and Boom. Instant disaster.
