My N86 has stopped sending sms, first of all it only happened a few times but now its happening all the time and as a result havnt been able to use my phone for the last couple of weeks just had the chance to come online to seek help, called O2 who said to try my SIM in another phone which I did and it worked alright so they said it must be a problem with the phone, have tried taking the battery out for over 24 hours tried having it switched off for days but its still not working. Basically what happens is: I send a message. The up arrow stays on the front screen and wont go away. The message gets stuck in the outbox saying it will resend every two mins (which it did to my sister a couple of weeks ago 30 times but came through to her as only half a message) so had to stop using it as sms weren't getting through at all but was still being charged for them being sent which I just didnt get, am confused and dont know what to do.
After 18 months, my 2760 has stopped sending texts and says " message failed, please check details".All my contacts seem in order, have removed battery and replaced.Still receives texts ok.
As title, my son's 5530 has stopped recieving or sending texts. Outgoing texts sit in the outbox.I've rest the phone, upgraded to latest software, checked the message centre number, the sim card sends and recieves ok in another phone
I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1. I use an IMAP account to send and receive email. It's been running perfect for over a year.
Then yesterday, and for no reason, mail stopped sending and goes straight into the outbox after this error message:
"A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed".
The thing is I haven't changed any mail account preferences, SMTP, Passwords or anything. Furthermore the exact same mail account settings on my MacBook Pro work just fine. I can send and receive perfectly.
I have been using gmail on my blackberry for a month without problems, it just comes straight to the inbox on the main screen of the phone.Today my Blackberry stopped sending emails but still recieves them. When I try to delete anything in the inbox, it merely gives them a "yellow" star but does not remove them
My BBM has stopped sending or recieving messages.Whenever I try to send a message, it makes the sending symbol that looks like ))) but then a big red cross like this X comes up. I've tried re-booting about 10 times, and also updating my version of BBM to the newest possible version, but nothing has worked. It's not a connection issue, because my internet, 3G, Facebook, Twitter, Texts and Emails are all working. I've tried connecting my phone to my wifi instead of the 3G I pay for, but with still no luck. Also, my data usage is fully topped up and nothing wrong with my service provider O2.
ll of a sudden from this morning my spiro has totally stopped sending any sms. Its not having that dumb out of memory problem just yet but whenever i say send, it just quits the sms screen and soesn't actually send anything. I restarted it a couple of times and nothing seems to change it. Just when I was adjusting to the useless out of memory problem this is a new bomb on me.
My phone has stopped sending and receiving email. When i follow the troubleshooting on line it tells me to go into advanced settings and swithc the smtp server to on and then off again. Unfortunately when I get to that screen, its frozen, and wont let me move the sliders across.
Recently my iphone stopped sending my photos in texts. It shows it tries to send it but never actually goes through. I've checked the message and photo settings. I've done a hard reset.
I have a blackberry bold 9700 and its been fine for a month or so, all of a sudden after it has been working fine in the morning it stopped calling and sending texts, i cant receive anything either.
BBM works fine, internet works fine and email its just the calls and texts in and out????
I have restored the phone and done all necessary updates but it still doesn't work, the SIM card is fine as ive put it in another phone and it does everything it should.
i got the new phone about a week ago and the experience has not been good.after a rough start, i got it to work for a few days. it behaved what i expected it to be until about a day ago when all of a sudden it stopped receiving and sending messages.i power off, took off battery, etc and tried to reboot it - it didn't work. all settings seemed to be ok, what am i missing?
My blackberry has suddenly stopped sending & receiving emails, cannot work out why, have not changed any settings. When I took it in to the T-mobile shop they said I needed to install some updates, which I did, but it still isn't getting or sending any emails!
Its completely stopped sending and receiving messages. Ive tried the battery pull and that worked for a while but now there's a red x beside every message I send. I've also deleted and reinstalled BBM but no luck.
I am a total tech dummy and can't figure out what happened. I just stopping receiving and being able to send e-mails. Phone and texts still work fine. I have a signal.Only things I tried was turning it off and then on. Also took out and replace battery.
It has been working fine, but has stopped automatically sending or receiving emails. I have taken out the sim card and hard rebooted, I have resent the service books, but it still isn't working.
After going to the lake district, something happened to my phone and it stopped sending texts. They would just pile up in the outbox, queing to be sent but would never leave. My phone works fine for everything else apart from this. I have updated to the latest Sony Erricson software and made sure the service number (where the phone relays texts or something) was correct.
My phone suddenly stopped sending and receiving texts and calls. I couldn't do anything. There was also a little green phone in a circle with a red asterisk on the home screen.
I am new to this forum and would like to thank you for any help in advance. My problem is that my BB Storm has stopped receiving and sending emails. I worked perfectly. I have recently added an couple of new addresses, they were working very well to, but now nothing.
I have a Curve 8900 running v4.6.1.231...I am on an Enterprise Data plan, with emails synched up to both my office outlook email, and my personal yahoo email. At around 11:30 yesterday, my yahoo email stopped sending/receiving/synching with my BB, but my office outlook email is working fine.
I tried to go into Email setup with the setup wizard, to see if maybe I had to delete and re-add my yahoo email account, but after about 60 seconds with a load message "connecting to email settings" I got a message that said "Your devide had a problem connecting to the server" with retry and cancel button - I retried with no avail. Not the most tech savvy person here, but was wondering if this is a problem on my end? Or something on the BB side?
I have suddenly stopped receiving my emails to my blackberry torch 9880. I also cannot send. I've researched on the net and I've done power off and also battery pull. I've tried going into the setup and email settings but it will not let me check my settings.
When I call someone, people on the other end can't see my number. I checked the settings where you get 3 options. Send caller-ID, don't send caller-ID or let the network decide. Obviously "don't send" won't send it, but the other 2 options don't work either. If I select "yes" the other end still sees "private number".Is there any other option I'm overlooking?
I brought my phone second hand unlocked and my phone wouldn't recieve any mms then i tried sending and this didn't work either.
In help it says "to send multimedia messages, you need to register with a message service and obtain appropriate connection settings".How do i fo this and will it work for recieving mms aswell?
I have used an iPhone 4 since October 2010. My wife followed suit in Dec 2011. We used iMessage as standard without any issues, but recently my iPhone was put in the wash by mistake, so while I'm waiting for the insurance to replace it, I am using my sim in an old Nokia (6230 or something). The thing is, now when she tries to send me an SMS messgage it won't come through to the Nokia. Other peoples make it OK, even from other iPhones. It says it sent as SMS on her phone too.it may be worth mentioning I switched to the Nokia the same day my iPad arrived, I was "playing", as you do, and tried to message my wife's iPhone from it as I was at home on my wifi network. This worked fine but not what I need, so I switched off iMessage on the iPad and now messages from her phone won't reach the Nokia
I finally updated my E72-1 to 031.023. On the earlier version, I could not use my Mail for Exchange with my work e-mail (i.e. work server etc). it just didn't do anything after setup. In previous posts, people said after the update, it should work fine well, it doesn't. Its the same problem: After setup (with my IT guy) the MfE just doesn't load any messages. It just keeps on saying "No Messages". I have tried everything. So I have three questions:
1) When setting up the MfE, is there anything else I need to do i.e. register my work e-mail somewhere (which I did I think) or something? 2) The acces point Background: when set to "internet" it just doesn't work. It always says "Packet data not available" or "Connection not Available". The 'Internet' acces point "points" to the correct packet data set. When using the packet data set "manually", internet connects and works. Why is this so? Why can't I use my "internet" access point for connecting to the internet? 3)My third question is: For MfE, the access point is set to Internet. Could this be a problem? The only options I have is Internet, WAP services and Intranet. None of them "work".
