i have a problem with my camera on nokia n73, when i enter in the camera i press the button to take capture is blinked the flash but not save. my problem is like here ->

As the title says all my images and videos are now no longer within the captured folder when you go into photo's, I have tried deleting all of the _PAlbTN folders, also factory reset the device, still nothing there, any ideas on what I can do to get these back in the captured folder?Otherwise it seems a pointless feature if every firmware update you lose all the data captured over the months since the last update, I have also tried copying all in the camera album over to the PC and put back onto the phone mass memory.It's doing my head in now, I have trawled the forums to find information but nothing. I have a lot of other items on my mass memory which I have accumilated from over the years and transferred to each new phone I get, got something in the region of 2500 images and videos, on the mass memory stored in the traditional way, where E is the mass memory etc:

Instead of the new way i.e.

Do the files (images and videos) get assigned new tags to allow it to identify them as being taken on the device, my viewby month folder is also not working.
Why does my front camera flip my picture when it is saved? I need a solution to this problem asap.

It gets warm while using other apps but with the camera, it really gets heated. Battery gets drained very fast. Video is not smooth. i tried changing the resolution but still it is not smooth, the video shows as frame by frame and loses some frames but the sound can be heard.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI found out that all the camera settings is not saved. For exampel i always want the grid displayed but then i have to turn it on manuelly every time. Same goes for the timer, id like it to be on 2sec so the picture not is taken as you push the button (shaky etc).
Probably more camera settings that not saved havent checked it all.
Can anyone tell me how to geotag a captured image and add it to the map?

I've also lost my User Guide since updating my phone after a phone prompt, when I try and access it it says 'Cannot find User guide on memory card. The memory card has been removed or the files have been deleted. Are these two things linked?

View -1 Replies View RelatedHaving a bit of trouble with the quality of pictures taken from the main camera on my N97.Although, I have the resolution set to max (5mp), the pictures that come out dont look anything like 5mp resolution.I say this because I had a N82 before this which had a 5mp camera, which I guess was pretty much same as N97. I still have my old phone so I compared pictures from both (same object, same conditions) and pictures from N82 were still a lot better than N97.
I have the latest firmware on N97 and have tried all different setting and even tried a hard reset, but cant have it to take good pictures. Although the size once I copy them to my computer says 2592x1944, the details are no where there what they should be.
My rear camera picture seems to be blurred when i take a picture within 1metre but seems okay if i take a picture within 5cm? same thing occurs when i record a video either in 4k mode or not. this problem happens after i update my os to 5.0. so i cant really use my camera now except for front camera.i cant use my rear camera because the blur problem.

I have recently come across an annoying problem though: When the phone has been turned on for some time (30-60 minutes) the camera starts to lag after taking a picture. The duration of this lag can be up to 40 seconds, and it is pretty annoying that I have to wait for that long between shots. The 5MP Carl Zeiss optics camera, ALS display and so many other features impressed me. But when I purchased this mobile for my birthday on June 26th, I was very much disappointed with the camera quality. Despite having a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, the pictures taken by the camera are of very poor clarity. The clarity is similar to a 1.3 MP camera and is worse when pictures are shot in any lighting condition. I had great hopes on this camera after reading so many good reviews from several websites. But, this camera is not on par with my expectations and has failed me. My Nokia 7210 Supernova mobile which I had earlier used to take pictures of excellent clarity.
Are there any adjustments to be made before taking a picture? I've used all modes specified in the Options but to no avail.

a few days ago I accidentally dropped my phone and since then the camera has gone weird. When I look at the camera the shutter is not there and it looks like I'm about to take a photo. Its almost like the shutter is stuck. When I go onto my camera app there is no picture and it looks like I am in a dark room when I am not, but the options, exit and ect show up. I have dropped my phone a few other times especially on worse surfaces but this time it has just stopped working?

I opened a photo from the camera roll in Nokia Camera, reframed it, clicked save. As usual, the progress bar indicates that the app is working, but then an error message appears, saying nothing except "an error occured. Please try again later", and then the photo is gone.
When looking at the camera roll folder on the computer, one sees that the 5MP photo file has a size of 0 bytes, and the highres file has vanished completely from the phone.
Has anybody run into an issue with the camera software reversing the pic taken with the front facing camera?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter taking my son on his first cub scout camporee this weekend. I took tons of pictures and once we got home and started to show most of them are corrupt. I DID have the camera app set to save pics to the internal memory. Some how while playing with the settings it was changed to save to the micro SD card. All photos that are saved to the SD card seem to get corrupted. They have a normal file size but I noticed that all of the corrupt files have a resolution of -1 x -1. Pics that aren't corrupt have a resolution of 5312 x 2988.

When taking pictures with the camera, the pictures are saved in a default folder. I want to change that so when I'm at work, the pictures can go into a work folder. And when I'm taking pictures on trips, the pictures can go into a trip folder.
