I had CWM a couple of years ago but now suddenly Nokia Music says that this computer is not the registered one. It worked couple of days ago and is still the same one. I had to reinstall Win7 a month ago and had to register it as 'new' one but after that it worked flawless.
So those 90 days between changing of computer has not passed yet.
My iPhone 4S sometimes stops playing music by itself while I am playing music. This occurs while my phone is on standby/locked mode; that is I am not using any apps.

When I go to the music player and select a song to play, I get a message that tells me to plug in my headphones. The issue is that my headphones are plugged in. I didn't have this issue a week ago. I was listening to my music just fine. I have rebooted the device several times already. The weird thing is that I can hear the boot up sounds through my headphones, as well as notifications. I just can't play music. I have the same issue with the FM radio.

I have stopped media player, walked into a meeting, and put the phone on silent. My phone rings! It's ok, because the phone is on silent, however, after it stops ringing, music starts playing and it's really loud. It plays through the phone speakers.Has anyone had an issue with this? I would love to resolve this issue asap because It's happened a number of times, especially when I don't want it to.

View 8 Replies View Relatedlast night a friend came around mine so i thought i would use have laptop whilst he had it with him to get some up to date music. i simply plugged my usb in and then dragged and dropped some of his music into the music file on the phone. all looked so simple to me. there were some messages that came up regarding some of the files not working but my friend said he got those messages when he transferred to his itunes also.
when i go to play these songs i can barely hear them at all but i can play Internet videos with volume fine, i can play things within the nokia music mix thing, i can hear my system sounds, i can hear my ringtone. i have tried the basic obvious things of looking at settings on my phone etc but the fact that all other music works has made me assume it's not a settings issue on my phone.
only other thing i have since tried is transferring from my phone to my fiancees laptop, deleting all the songs from the phone and then i put an album back on. no luck, didn't work. really gutted at the moment, just got this phone and love it but i will be gutted if there is some sort of weird restrictions causing me to not just take music from a pc.
I am using Nokia 5800 Xpress Music which is updated to v5. My problem is the music player refreshes too long and doesn't detect tthe songs I have saved in my memory card. I have deleted some files in the 3 folders contained in the private folder to reset the library. After I have disconnected it from the computer I start the music player again. Then it refreshes to long again and did not detect any songs. What can I do? Is there any other way?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just recently found problems with downloads certain songs. Specifically the artists Chromium, Deas Vail, Celldweller and Hawthorne Heights. What happens is I download them as usual the whole file downloads with no errors BUT the songs are firstly filed incorrectly on the P.C (not in folders of artist and album). Secondly they don't have any metadata/ info embedded in the file (artist album publisher etc) and Finally but most importantly they don't play, not on my winamp or nokia media player. If I use nokia media player an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle appears next to the Song. This has only happened with those artists so far. I'm using a Nokia N8 unlimited Music subscription.

But when I do that the Music app automatically starts and plays music. I can turn it off (using the Stop the Music app), but it comes back on after a few seconds. Then the song comes in and out sporadically for a couple of seconds. Then it stops for about two minutes and then plays again for a few seconds. Has around 365 songs in it now but when i add new ones it doesn't see them.Have tried refresh, trashed the databases etc. Reformated the card and loaded them back bit by bit and that worked and then added 9 new ones - that worked. Played it this morning for a few hours and tried to ad some more. Doesn't see them in the refresh. Card is a Sandisk 4gb - should be good - no bad sectors etc
