I attached some jpegs as album arts to mp3s using Itunes 10.4.1.10. When I copy this to my 8GB Micro SD and play it through Music player these photos won't appear and I am presented the default image of the corresponding theme applied. However these album arts appear on my Windows 7 explorer window...
I am one of the user of 5800XM,recently, I tried to play a music playlist / an entire CD album with the alarm function,I would like the effect as an ipod which start playing music at specific time,
however, I discovered that, the alarm in 5800XM allows only one music file being selected as the alarm tone, moreover, even when a song is selected, it would be played for may be 30 sec / 1 min sth when alarm activated, which means, it cannot plays the whole song till it finished before 5800XM went back to silence again,
I have searched over the internet for any tips or any S60 software to take that task, unluckily, there seems to be none of them works, here, I sincerely hope that someone could suggest a solution for me, such that.I CAN USE THE ALARM on 5800XM to PLAY a PLAYLIST exactly like how ipod's alarm function can do.
there is no way to only sort by "album name", just a combination of "artist and album name" is accessible under options in the menu. This gives me problem since I have a lot of compilations with various artist names.I remember that it was some similar problems with 5800 XM, but fixed via an s/w release a long time ago...
I have a Nokia 5800XM since 1 year and I have an issue since a few weeks. I Updated my phone to the 40.0.005 firmware version When I play a music with the music player, at the end of the song, there is a General System error and I can't use the payer anymore. But the rest of the phone system is operational, I can do what I want (except playing music). If I reboot the phone, I can play 1 song and the same error appears. I've tried a soft reset, a hard reset and a firmware reinstallation. The problem remains the same.
After Updating my phone to 50v , Music library wont update. So here's what happened. I updated my cell phone. Phone restarted by itself, after that I turned on music player. I saw message that Looking music and podcast etc. Now this message just stays there forever. SO I restarted again and try to refresh library but no luck. There are tons of song in memory card but they wont load in music player. I got this problem after new firware update.
After updating to firmware v50, my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic music player is not working anymore. The phone won't stop refreshing the music library. I got 900 songs in my memory card and the music player not adding even one song to the library.
how I can sort my music on N8 by album only. I have a number of compilation albums on the phone but because it stores it by album and artist I can not listen to the whole album but have to select 1 track at a time by each individual nartist
How does the N8 pick up cover art for the mp3?, I have a library of full albums in tradition folder structures with complete id tags and cover art fetched online through Amarok. When I copy the albums over, most of them show up with no cover art. Only the random few will have it. I am trying to figure out why so I can make them all work the way it prefers.
why Four Thieves Gone by the Avett Brothers only has 16 songs listed at Nokia's music store when it's supposed to have 17. The last song, Four Thieves Gone is missing from the download selection?
I seem to have problems copy and paste the music to my N900. I don't have such problem before with my old Nseries phones - like N80, N95, N96, and N97. First, when I copy the entire album, one or a few songs will fall under the "Unknown Album" category while the rest of the tracks (from the same album) are displayed correctly. Second, is the album art. Some albums I have the album art displayed correct at the album listing view. Some don't get displayed but in track view, the ablum art is there. Strange? It is kind of hard to get this to work. I can sort of live with no track repeat, hard to operate playlists, but having my tracks falling into different places are not acceptable. Recently i purchased 2 albums containing songs marked as "available only as a part of an album". On the download page the download buttons for these songs appear inactive and in my download history they appear active but don't work. Clicking them only blocks the entire page. Is it a bug or maybe these songs are downloaded in some other way?
I've bought an album, and it won't let me download about 12 songs, saying they can only be downloaded as an album. I paid for the album but it won't let me have the songs I paid for.
I have a Galaxy S6 Edge, and I am having an issue with viewing photos on the phone. When I view photos with the Photos app (google plus photos app), zooming in does not reveal any additional detail and the photo looks very blurry. When I use the built in Gallery app, however, I can zoom in and see very crisp detail in the image. I know it isn't an issue with the image itself, because I can view it fine in the Gallery app. Even in the Photos app, if I view the details of the image, it shows the full resolution of the image, but when I zoom in the photo is very blurry.
Is there any option so that we can sort the songs by Albums. I know we have got a option " Artists and albums". If we use this it will sort with Artists first and below it will show the Album name. I live in India, and here we generally listen to songs by movie/album wise not by artist.... I having nightmare in searching the albums as they are sorted by artists first..... I also use Nokia 5800 XM in that we got seperate option "sort by Album" but it is combined with artists in Nokia Symbian^3 phones.....I love the new music player the way it shows the album arts but the only thing is it removed the sort by Album option..
I've just started using Ovi Player and every time I try to rip a CD, it cannot find the album details and artwork and says "Information for this CD is not currently available". The internet is definitely connected.
So the much awaited belle update is out, however the music player somehow STILL does not sort by album title properly. So here we are, with more than 10 gigs of music all scattered in the music library with album artists names and what not.
I deleted all the "unsatisfactory" music that was preloaded on my e71 mini using the delete function in the music player and it said the files were deleted but it still shows the album names.
I am trying to get a definitive answer as have been researching this for weeks and despite my best efforts still have no solution.I am using the fantastic N900 (well done Nokia!) and would like all my music on the device. All efforts so far have transferred music ok but album tracks always appears in alphabetical order in the music player as opposed to the album track order(not much good). This is despite careful tagging and trying with Windows Media Player, Media Monkey & Songbird to see if any work best.
I found out today that this might be due to the file being a .wma file. All my music is ripped to my PC in .wma as in my experience I find the quality vs file size is great and better by far than .mp3.Today I ripped a CD with WMP as .mp3 and after sync the track order was correct (although I do not want to use WMP through choice and certainly not .mp3, let alone re rip my entire CD Collection), my preference would be Media Monkey or Songbird with .wma.
Is this a bug or N900 problem? (I know they are different but it worked fine on N97 and N95 8gb previously with MM and .wma) Can anyone help? or even offer a recommendation or suggestion as to what they think is best format, application or way to have music on the N900 etc.
My new 808 is fantastic! However when the display is viewed at an angle of about 20 degrees or more the whites shown become blue. This is more evident when I look at Google homepage because of the white background.
so I have had my One M8 for a week now and I love it but the one thing I have noticed (coming from an iPhone and being a music fanatic) is that the album art in music player looks like absolute trash. I use iSyncr to take my songs from iTunes and the album art on iTunes is high quality 1000x1000 or above images. Can't understand why the HTC is taking those images and making them look downgraded (colour is off as well).
On my S6 i upload a lot of my ripped CD's in MP3 format from my PC. Using Google Play on my Nexus 5, since the album art (even if you have the art in the same directory as music) doesnt show need to use an app, so i use Album Art Grabber from the GPS.
On my Nexus 5, the only time i'd need to re-run to grab the artwork is if I added new music...so i'd have to clear the Data from Google Play (Play Music), run Art Grabber and then run Google Play again. With the S6 however, im finding the artwork keeps disappearing every 24 hours or so. I keep having to re-run the Album Art grabber and cannot understand why. Never had this issue on my Nexus 5.
it happens with both Google Play and Stock Music player app, some cache clearing is happening over some hours and i cant figure it out.
I recently added a new album to my 'iPhone' playlist in iTunes which I sync with my iPhone.
However, when I went to my phone, and searched under artist, the album was not there! The two other albums I have by that artist are there but not the new one.
What's weirder is that it DOES appear on my iPhone if I search for it under the album tab. But it does not come up when looking under the artist tab (just the other two albums that I have by that artist).
I have this BlackBerry Bold 9790, after buying the device, I uploaded a song album to the media folder. After some days I deleted the folder, but it keeps coming back...I deleted it from the card, deleted it using the computer, but somehow it is still there, other music folders are easy to deleta and never shows up.
