Nokia Music :: Can't Sign In To Ovi Music Store After Anna Update
Sep 14, 2011after symbian anna 1/2 and 2/2 update in my nokia n8,i failed to sign in automatically to ovi music .it is saying" you couldnt be signed in automatically,please sign in manually".please give a solution .also there is no option to log in manually to ovi music.

Aug 18, 2012I have downloaded plenty of albums to my phone both before and since, but there is one album that just will not appear in the music player. If I go into the file manager, into the music folder, I can find and play the album. However, it refuses to show up through the music players.

When I copy the albums over, most of them show up with no cover art. Only the random few will have it. I am trying to figure out why so I can make them all work the way it prefers.

Apr 29, 2010I seem to have problems copy and paste the music to my N900. I don't have such problem before with my old Nseries phones - like N80, N95, N96, and N97. First, when I copy the entire album, one or a few songs will fall under the "Unknown Album" category while the rest of the tracks (from the same album) are displayed correctly. Second, is the album art. Some albums I have the album art displayed correct at the album listing view. Some don't get displayed but in track view, the ablum art is there. Strange? It is kind of hard to get this to work. I can sort of live with no track repeat, hard to operate playlists, but having my tracks falling into different places are not acceptable. Sep 8, 2011Recently i purchased 2 albums containing songs marked as "available only as a part of an album". On the download page the download buttons for these songs appear inactive and in my download history they appear active but don't work. Clicking them only blocks the entire page. Is it a bug or maybe these songs are downloaded in some other way?

Jan 4, 2011Is there any option so that we can sort the songs by Albums. I know we have got a option " Artists and albums". If we use this it will sort with Artists first and below it will show the Album name. I live in India, and here we generally listen to songs by movie/album wise not by artist.... I having nightmare in searching the albums as they are sorted by artists first..... I also use Nokia 5800 XM in that we got seperate option "sort by Album" but it is combined with artists in Nokia Symbian^3 phones.....I love the new music player the way it shows the album arts but the only thing is it removed the sort by Album option..

After update to Symbian Anna
1) OVI store is not working. I am able to open ovi store and see apps but moment I click on download.. it just hangs there.I have tried installling QT files as mentioned in the forum I download QT files from Nokia which were in .sisx format. I am not able to install them either by directly copying in phone or via Ovi suite.I am getting Error 300.
2) Google Maps is not working. I have installed it multiple times. When I click on Google Maps to open it , a blank window comes and it closes automatically.

Aug 30, 2011I have noticed data log (3G packet data and Wifi data) logging has gone missing after I have updated to Anna in my N8.Has anybody noticed this? This is useful to check how much data traffic has been used by the phone if you have a limited data plan. I use a small data plan because when I am at home I have my ADSL with wifi, which can be used with my N8.Further I have noticed the closing of applications that are Exit after using is very slow and sometimes stay active after the Exit

Oct 27, 2011After updating to ANNA, my phone does not disconnect from my cars built in hands free kit. It worked without issue before the update. The phone does not close the connection. The only way to close the connection is to restart the phone, as the bluetooth connection hangs if I try and do it from the connection tab. I have done a hard reset on my phone with no success. I have also tried all the other deleting the connection and re-pairing suggestions out there, with no successful result.

Aug 28, 2011before update I could use smart dialing (meaning by entering member/letters while dialing phone was searching matching contacts and displaying the ones that do match). After update this stopped working. I still have an option to turn smart dialing on/off (when turning on/off I see a change on the screen - the part where numbers show up gets bigger when smart dialing turned off) but there are no suggestions displayed when entering numbers.

Aug 31, 2011I have applied the Anna update SymTorrent is now crashing and doesn't work anymore. It opens, lets me select the torrent file, searches for any previously downloaded files for this torrent, the torrent is shown as paused, then SymTorrent just disappears.
Not sure if related, but as per this article [URL].. I have reinstalled the 3 QT applications and deleted any temp sisx files, hs made no difference.
