I' m a french lumia possessor and I don't understand why apn settings has disappeared from the last version of Nokia Diagnostics?? How can we configure manually this settings now?

View 15 Replies View RelatedAfter i got last update used my phone couple of days and as batery life still seemed too low i decided tro reset my phone. did the reset and first thing i noticed diagnostics tool was missing form apps menu. so then i synched my phone downloaded some apps and decided to check if reseting had any effect on my batterys full charge.

I just my lumia 820 from att on saturday and i love it but there seems to be a problem with some of the settings. It seems like that audio, display+touch, and Nokia account don't seem to open and just send you back to the default settings menu.

There appears to be no way to Edit or Delete APN's already on the phone?? No little '..' to press on at the bottom right. View 3 Replies View RelatedI was browsing the options under the settings and tried selecting 'feedback to nokia'. A prompt came up (can't remember the exact wording) saying there was a problem with two buttons. One button was to uninstall and the other was to take you to the store entry for this item. The text of the prompt suggested going to the store and trying to install again. If that failed it indicated to select uninstall and then reinstall the 'app' (really a setting option). If I picked the store button the only option I had was to share this app. So I went back to settings and selected the uninstall button. But now I can't find the 'feedback to nokia' when searching the store. So I was wondering how I can reinstall this item under settings.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to set my outgoing work email (SMTP) server port number to 587 and connection security to TLS. However, I can't see an option to set either the port number nor the security to TLS. SSL security can be turned on/off, but no mention of TLS.
I have read elsewhere that setting the server name as <server name> : <port number> can be used (that is, using a colon to separate the server name from the port number), but still this does not allow for selecting TLS security.
My incoming email, IMAP, works fine, so my connection/username/password etc. should all be fine.
I am trying to download 'Phonetic Keyboard' in my lumia 950 XL , but after 'preparing download' it goes to 'attention required' and throws an error - text suggestions for this keyboard not getting downloaded properly ... I tried,

But it says it can't find the server settings. So, I'm having a stab at entering them manually. This is what I'm using:So my question is, are these the correct settings to use???? If not, what should they be?I can sense it, I'm close to actually getting my calendar to sync, but I just need to get past this one (hopefully the last!) hurdle.
View 9 Replies View Related1. My settings app has disappeared from my Nexus 5. I was running Lollipop with an unlocked/rooted phone (done with the excellent Nexus root toolkit).
2. I tried to factory reset the phone but the settings app is still missing. I cannot install or sideload anything because everything requires USB debugging to be turned on, which requires me to change the Settings!
The settings icon has disappeared from my iPhone 4. I don't know how to get it back or how to get into my settings without it.

The drag down quick settings menu has disappeared from my Z3. Dragging down from the top with 2 fingers does not bring the menu down. Neither can I use the notifications at the top right to access the menu. However, I get to the sounds setting panel by using the volume button.
Tried this:Settings > personalization > Quick settings
but I do not see Quick Settings option.
I have the 920F model and activated it with a UK sim a few months ago.. Have been using a US sim for the past 2 weeks, but today I went into an area with no service for a bit. Went back into an area with service and suddenly it says 'Not registered on network' when I go to make a call and 'No SIM card'.
I have gone into flight mode, cleaned and checked SIM (not a problem with the card), and then when I went to check the APN settings I noticed there was no way to get into my 'Mobile Network' settings! Its just gone!
Is it possible that it has reverted back to the European region lock and is awaiting a European SIM to be inserted before I can re-insert my US?
If it is a region lock, is there anyway to unlock it without using a European SIM as I no longer have mine and dont have quick access to one either.
I'm on a Nexus 5 running Lollipop. Can't tell you exactly which version since my settings icon is gone! but it's either the latest one or one behind.

View 1 Replies View RelatedLast Friday (March 23rd) I tried calling a friend. It rang and rang and didn't go to their voicemail. I txt'd them and they said their phone never rang. I tried another person same thing. They tried calling me and it rang and rang. I reset the network settings and it happened again on the Saturday. I re-installed ios 5.1 on Sunday using iTunes via DFU (my phone is not jailbroken) and restored from iCloud. Since then a few times someone has tried to call me and it reports no missed call but I received a voicemail. The phone didn't ring. I checked the Diagnostics log and I see several Low Memory, and tons of other errors I have no idea what they are. Should I take the phone into Apple or try another way of re-installing ios 5.1?

After moving an App from SD to Device, replacing SDXC with a larger capacity SDXC, that App name no longer is found on device and when I try to reinstall it I get message that App is already installed. The App Notifications still functions but no longer accessible by its name. To load it for use I must search its name in Store, find it then click OPEN, or click on its notifications.
Re formatted D: SDXC card to no avail. Removed SDXC App still exists on Device and functions but same story cannot be reinstalled or uninstalled.
