Are there any alternative (slightly bigger) keyboards available for Lumia 710/ WP7.5? I understand that the only option is to turn phone in landscape mode. Any apps available or expected soon?
View 9 RepliesAs far as I know there is "Nokia Wireless Keyboard SU-8W" product designed specially for nokia phones. But is there any chance to use regular bluetooth PC keyboard with nokia phones (e75)? I guess there might be some drivers or apps that allow connection between nokia phone and other regular bluetooth devices (PC keyboards, mouses etc).

It is 100MB !!With other phones, you just need to plug in the phone USB and the PC sees the phone as a drive.Why do I need 100MB ? I don't want 100MB. I am not interested in what Zune can supposedly do for me - I already have other programs which do all I want done, without messing up my PC with a vast amount of software I do not want.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI dropped my Tour and scratched up the bezel, and made the dumb decision to replace it. Long story short, I messed up switching over the buttons, and I stripped the screw putting it back in, so there's no going back to fix it. Now, when I press the keyboard lock button, it doesn't work. I figured out that I can hold down "A" on the homescreen to lock it, but now how do I unlock it?!
And PS: DON'T CHANGE YOUR HOUSING/BEZEL! I would much rather have a dinged up bezel than the situation I'm in now. Looks like I'm stuck with this Tour 'till December. I hope that people listen to my housing advice, and not be naive and ignore others like I did!
I just bought a new unbanded, unlocked Lumia 920. Since I'm chinese, I want to install Traditional Chinese handwriting keyboard. However, it always failed to download.
The mobile is connected to wifi and I can load website through IE. May I know why I cannot download additional keyboard?
I've had my 820 for about 4 weeks now and am loving it but I seem to have a problem with the keyboard, on certain forums like wpcentral whenever I use IE10 to answer a thread the keyboard will pop up and then disappear again and I can't enter any text because the keyboard disappears to quick. I purchase the lumia 900 and overall I'm very happy with it. My suggestion is to make an option in the settings under keyboard for 'show emoticon key'. Most people don't use/need 50 smiley face options, and I'm perfectly fine with typing : and ) every once in awhile when necessary.I'm left handed, and use my left thumb to hit the space bar when texting/emailing. About 50% of the time i accidentally hit the emoticon key and start typing all sorts of smiley faces, then have to hit the backspace key. I lose about 5-10 seconds every text message.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have my 1520 set with to require a PIN to unlock it. After updating to WP8.1 sometimes when I use the keypad it will register multiple taps even though I only touch the number once.
The only way I am able to get around this is to lock it again and then bring up the keypad again. This does not always work first time, it might take me locking it a few times.
I would really love to use the 1520 as a work/personal note-taking device. I already use OneNote extensively. I saw the 1520 at the AT&T store today and fell in love, but the final thing for me to justify a 6" monster would be the keyboard issue.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my Lumia 950 Dual Sim (2 days back) and so far I loved the features and appearance. However, I am getting frustrated with the continuous reboots and on-screen keyboard issues.
When I am trying to type in whats app or Skype (I havent tested other apps yet), the keyboard hangs and then it goes down. I have to keep clicking on the message space and then after a while either it comes up works for sometime and goes down again (unresponsive) or the phone gets restarted. I need to say that I am a bit frustrated with this as this is happening with a frequency of less than 2 minutes. I tried the basic troubleshooting steps of soft reset (volume down + power), but still same.
Well been a few hours with my new 950, I'm coming from a lumia 920 I had for 3 years and one major issue which is probably a WP10 bug is in several apps when you get an area that requires you to type in something the keyboard comes up and then the area you need to type in goes black like the entire background of the screen goes black so you can';t type anything in, sometimes the app out right crashes after that. This is making it difficult to do things.
One example is the loyalty card app, press to add a new card and try and type in a name and it does this, found this with several other apps to.
how do i get out of chinese keyboard ,it states tap to change but it goes back to chinese.

As I am still on WP7 and my Daughter lives a little ways away from me, I decided to throw it out there if there is something in the settings in WP8 or on the L1020 I do not know about which kills the spell check. She has not red line under mispelled words and no suggestions as she types.
