Aug 30, 2010I have just bought a brand-new E5 and i love it. but i noticed something. when i put the standby mode to "Basic" the clock is nowhere to be found. how is this? is there a way (without changing the standby mode screen) to place the clock on the main screen?

Jan 23, 2010I love the bedside mode of the Storm 2, especially with the dock I recently purchased. The only problem is, I like the room dark as possible and even with the phone in bedside mode when charging, and the setting check to dim the clock, it's still far to bright.
Is there a way of having clock on, but have the screen go off with the usual setting to black the screen after say 30 seconds or whatever I choose for the backlighting time out, then have the screen come on if I reach over and touch the screen to display the clock, then letting the backlighting go off again after the preset time?
This would make the setup perfect for me, allowing me to use the Storm 2 as a bedside clock without having to have the display on all the time, but being able to turn it on for a short period of time as needed. If this is possible, can somebody post the settings needed

Aug 10, 2010anyone who's used the 97 would agree with me on this- the 97 could have been better if it had a little more processing power. out of curiosity, what's Nokia's reason to under-clock the processor? to save on battery and produce less heat? is it technically feasible for nokia to come up with a firmware update that makes the 97's processor run at its native clock speed? can it be overclocked? Whats the native clock speed of the 97's processor? And could it be possible to add /swap (virtual memory) support on the 97 like maemo? Jul 7, 2010I started using an E72 recently and installed the latest software. However there is an annoying problem with it, from time to time, i.e. once a day, it freezes. The phone won´t respond to any key (you can press and nothing happens), except the email key if keep it press it will display the screen to send an email, but that is all.
I found that the problem in clock related. The clock icon disappears from the main screen and anything after will led to a frozen phone, reboot is the only option. Sometimes going to the clock applications solves the problem but not always.
I disable the automatic sync of the clock and left it manual. But that only has halved the occurrence of the problem.

I tried to change almost all possible settings concerning sounds on the phone, but it still doesn't make any sound.Does anyone else have this problem? Or a solution?

Battery is ok, sound quality is horrible, but my real problem is the alarm clock - it just doesn't work! I rely on my phone to wake me up for work and it doesn't do the job. I've tried renaming the alarm, setting it to repeat on couple of days or just one time and it doesn't go off. The alarm worked perfectly on my HTC HD7 (the sound quality was also great on this device), but since I've switched to lumia I have to put up with more and more problems

Before that I did not perform the upgrade for about a year.Since this last upgrade I have a problem with clock not being updated when the keyboard is locked. This only happens when the keyboard is locked automatically (because of the inactivity). If I lock it manually then the clock is normally updated.This is so frustrating that I will change the phone for sure if it's not solved very quickly with a new software update. The clock is one of the core features of the mobile phone and such a bug can get you in troubles very quickly.
