This just started today.Went into facebook and it diverts me directly to the m.facebook mobile page instead of the full website.. I talked to nokia and they said 'it was like that to start with...' I didnt feel like arguing so I politely ended the call.It appears that only facebook is doing this at the moment.

View 11 Replies View RelatedNot sure why, my N900 seems to be pretty slow in opening up web pages. The home screen says that I am on 3.5G. At times the page wouldn't even get loaded (white screen or connection error).To test if it is due to bad coverage, I pull out the SIM card and put it back to my N97. And the web pages seem to load a lot faster (and smoother). This is strange. Is there some settings I need to fiddle with? I have tried changing the memory cache size from 5MB up but the improvement does not seem to be consistant. Now, I set the cache to auto.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI am having a strange and irritating problem after upgrading Nokia E71 Symbian firmware to version 410..Nokia Web Browser displays broken images (the ones which are like icons, next to the user names in the news feed) on the Facebook Mobile website. Opera Mini Browser displays the page correctly. Nokia E61 Native Browser also displays the page correctly. Tried another web connection (i.e. different router etc) but problem persists.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased a new N900 from the Nokia prioirty dealers in India.I checked for the pre installed Skype in VoIP and IM accounts. It is not there. There are only OVI, Gtalk, Jabber, Facebook and SIP accounts. There is no New menu coming up anywhere on the screen to create the SKype account. when I tried loading Skype from the internet through Wifi of N900, It is indicating that the download cannot be sent to this mobile number. My service provider is Airtel.

1: I downloaded Pixelpipe and it worked fine...I wanted to share a photo on facebook...And When I shared the photo....The status of sharing froze at 73 percent and nothin happened...then i had to close down the sharing.....I tried countless times but i am unable to share the photo...Please see the Picture I uploaded of this following problem...
2: I downloaded pidgin and Enabled chatting On facebook....at first all th contact appeared and the chat was working wonderfully but soon after that, it stopped working...I mean it connects to the facebook chat and can see all my contacts which are online on facebook or not but I am unable to send any message ( it sends but they are unable to receive it) although i do receive the text they send me....I dont know whats the problem...I did everything i could but was unable to fix this problem.This problem is only on Facebook...YAHOO AND MSN AND SKYPE WORK PERFECTLY FINE..Please KINDLY HELP ME SO that i am able to chat again on facebook through my N900...

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having this X6 for a month now. I always encounter "memory full, application will be closed". Am not sure, about the phone memory still having ~150MB, isn't that enough? Or I should really uninstall all the apps and reinstall those into the mass memory?
another thing is,my facebook app seems to me is corrupted. I couldn't sign in as it will prompt "application error, restart might help". I try to look for the application so i can reinstall but it prompt me saying that application is not available for X6! I find it ridiculous, because X6 is fb ready device, why it is not available in ovi?
why I can't load mobile facebook, or for that matter any website anymore, even though I am receiving emails normally and posts from facebook. But when I click on a link to take me to facebook etc. it looks as if it's loading, but it never does. all I get is a blank page. I was receiving everything fine, and could access any link until recently. I don't know if somebody maybe changed somethin in the settings maybe - how to be able to access mobile facebook etc. again.

View 7 Replies View Relatedi realy your help in this one, now i live in Lebanon, and i'm searching for a n900, but the other day my freind told that you can't check for your balance in your phone operartor, is that true, were i live, you need to recharge your phone in before you make phone calls, send messages etc, and to see how much dollars(or what ever its called) you still have in what you have recharged, you need to press *11# and than the green button, and than a message shows up showing you your phone operator balance, is it true that that can't be done on the n900? i like it how i can overclock the n900 from 600 mhz to 1000 mhz in less than 30 sec.

Is anyone else having problems signing into the Nokia Messaging website? Everytime I attempt to, it either refuses to acknowledge I have an account (when I know for a fact that I do), then when I try again it will sign me in (if I persevere enough). But if I try to remove an email address or update a password it will take me to this page saying.The page cannot be displayed.The destination server could not be reached.Anyone else having this problem or is it just me? How do I go about resetting my account if I can't get into the Nokia Messaging website to do it myself?

My N97mini uses the same browser as my E71 but I cannot log in to secure websites. I either get a username error or a password error or both. I cannot find any settings that seem to help. I also have frequent browser crashes although most people say that is related to low RAM. Since I have nothing else running in the background I question that conclusion. The biggest problem is the secure site problem.
