There are only OVI, Gtalk, Jabber, Facebook and SIP accounts. There is no New menu coming up anywhere on the screen to create the SKype account. when I tried loading Skype from the internet through Wifi of N900, It is indicating that the download cannot be sent to this mobile number. My service provider is Airtel.

1: I downloaded Pixelpipe and it worked fine...I wanted to share a photo on facebook...And When I shared the photo....The status of sharing froze at 73 percent and nothin happened...then i had to close down the sharing.....I tried countless times but i am unable to share the photo...Please see the Picture I uploaded of this following problem...

This just started today.Went into facebook and it diverts me directly to the m.facebook mobile page instead of the full website.. I talked to nokia and they said 'it was like that to start with...' I didnt feel like arguing so I politely ended the call.It appears that only facebook is doing this at the moment.

So for example I took a pic with the stock camera and then tried to share it via Google messenger using the in app share button. Every time I hit the share to messenger button nothing happened. BTW it's happened multiple times with different apps (ie sharing links from Firefox.)

For example, I uploaded a 4.25 mile run......when it posted to facebook, it says I had a workout of 2.32 km. When I try to (share -> Blogger), it says "No blogs found". I get "please create a blog on www.blogger.com" or the alternatives Go to Blogger/Switch account/Close.
If I //go to Blogger//, I have to sign in (which works fine), but then I'm in a list choosing between my blogs and can constinue to blog directly in my browser. That's not what I want to do...
If I //switch account//, I have my google-account chosen for me. Since I log on thourgh my hotmail-address, I go to -> manage accounts, where my FB-account is linked to my hotmail address. There I only get the option to create a new one or to delete an account. If I instead leave the chosen google-account, well... nothing happens.
When I am in an application and want to share a pic, it will only show me recent pictures and I cannot go back through old photos.
You can share from photos without issue. But why in marshmallow can I only share recent photos inside an app.
Both my 1020 and my gf's 1520 won't send pictures through messaging sharing, on our new att service. Idk if this is phone related or service related, It just says can't send message, try again.

View 11 Replies View RelatedYesterday evening, I suddenly couldn't get a GPRS or any other phone signal on my phone. On switching off/on, I was informed of the above error message.I tried rebooting the phone via the 'u' key (battery out) process and this did not solve the problem. I tried the SIM card in my old phone and it worked perfectly.The N900 WLAN works normally.I did nothing unusual with the phone yesterday evening so I am bemused at this error suddenly happening.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI use a Nokia N900. I have successfully connected the phone to my email provider using IMAP4/SSL. I can view incoming email notifications, and send new messages. I can also browse the content of all folders, except for the "inbox" folder.The way my provider (Rackspace.com) sets up the email account, all folders reside under the "inbox" folder. It appears that the N900's email application does not recognize the "inbox" folder as location which contains both sub folders and messages; when I try to open the "inbox" and list messages, the application briefly shows the busy indicator, but then nothing happens (it does not show the folder content). I can successfully view the content of any other folder (which does not have sub folders), it's just the "inbox" which is giving me problems.Is there a solution to this problem?

Crop,
Edit Tags,
Share,
Delete
I select Share & only get 3 options:
Send Via BlueTooth,
Send Via Email
Share Service
In none of these options can I find away to text a picture to someone. What Am i doing wrong??I have updaed my phone to latest firmware hoping this might help.. but no
I just received my N900 like a few hrs ago and I was testing the features but when I tried playing one of the songs on the phone a message popped up saying "unable to play media. Audio is in use by another application". I didn't have any other application opened at all I also tried to use the camera and the same message popped up, still no other application was opened.Another problem I noticed was when I receive a call even after pressing receive call the call still does not pick up...still rings on the other end but when I press end call it hangs up on the caller sending the call to voicemail. But making outgoing calls is no problem.I'm a nokia fan and loved all my past nokia phones last one was the N95 and still is working fine after 4yrs this is the first time I'm having such problems and am disappointed especially since the phone is new.

I've made 50 text messages. I have 780 songs and 10 videos and 200 pictures. It still has 21GB and says that I have enough storage for everything.I need this message to stop, It keeps popping up every minute. I takes a while to get messages and I've turned it on and off.. I've removed the battery and restarted it.
