I just noticed a possible bug. At 12:00AM, the date is supposed to switch over the next day, but it is 1:51AM already in my area, however, my date still reads Friday. And if I change the format of the date that I want in the settings, it does not change. Anybody experience this and know how to fix it?
View 4 RepliesAs the title says. The date on the start screen is stuck and doesn't change. Now it's tuesday, but it still says it's monday on the phone. The clock is ok. Also the calendar is ok (events and everything).This happened 3 times in the last month or so. I have a few programs running. The one I'm suspecting the most now is X-Plore (trial version). It's the only extra program that I'm running from a few days before when this bug didn't happen. But I'm not sure, since this is an old bug that happened quite some time before and I don't remember if X-Plore was running then. Also, when I'm entering some numbers on the start screen there is the correct date, but when I clear those numbers it shows the wrong date again. I don't know exactly what fixes it, a restart for sure, but also some other actions I think.

View 19 Replies View RelatedRight from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an X6 16GB, which I turn off at night when I go to bed, about once a week I switch it on in the morning and the date hasn't changed from the previous day. The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off.Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of todays date. I can log into my emails via Outlook Express on my p.c and the date will be correct there.I have software version v20 installed, the same problems still occurred on the previous firmware as well.Any help greatfully received

Just got another V10 and I notice in settings, about phone, status it shows a last factory data reset date and time. This is the same date and time that I opened and started the phone new out of the box.
I have never done a factory data reset to the phone. Does your V10 show a "Last Factory Data Reset" under these settings?

I woke up this morning (24th December), and my phone had set the date and time to the 29th November, and the time is 6 hours behind (its now 3pm and it is apparently 8:43 on my phone.) Moreover, I can't read my text messages, I can't see text messages that I send, and my blackberry services have stopped working (i.e.. I cannot send emails or access BBM.) I have restarted/rebooted the phone almost a million times, but every time it comes back on the time keeps being set back to 7:49 every single time. I have no idea what to do!

View 11 Replies View RelatedI reset my iphone 3gs, erasing all data and contents. The process seemed to go as planned, but now I'm stuck with my phone showing just the apple logo,, nothing else.
The phone is not recognized by any of my machines, I've tried everything.
None of the buttons on the phone seem to do anything - I can't switch it off with the top right power button, not by pressing or holding it, it doesn't react to any other button or combination of buttons. It only switchs off by pressing the power + home combination.
I tried with the phone disconnected from everything, tried connecting to the pc, to power supply, no change.
Also tried the tips to hold buttons and than connect the usb, I think I pretty much covered any combination and solution I could find or think of, now I'm more or less out of options.

I have been trying to restore my iPhone for about 12 hours now, and I'm about to pull my hair out if it doesn't work soon. The restore to factory settings goes fine, and then when I begin to set it up, it first gives me trouble activating it, but I just press continue when it says it hasn't been activated and a few minutes later I have signal. The next problem arises when I try and restore it from a iCloud backup. I have tried 3 different back ups, all 3 have given me the same problem. They say there is anywhere from 15-45 hours remaining, and it gets stuck at about a centimeter along the progress bar of the restoring settings part. I have not been able to get past this. Quite a few times it has said that my internet connection failed and I'll need to restart the restore. I know this most likely isn't true because I'll be on the computer at that exact point and not have an issue with the computer. I also have a very stable internet connection, and very fast. When I have done restores in the past it took about five minutes.

I have iphone 3gs, i have downloaded free games and apps from app strore installed and it was working fine. i even updated the games a couple of times. Two days ago I attempt to Reset-Erase all settings & Content of my phone. It was stuck with apple logo. till now. What to do? Now it is stuck there and when I connect it to my PC it does not appear there also.It is just charging and chargning only. when i disconnect it shows battery low.

I know this is everywhere, but my case is different. I had problems with my lockscreen which never turned off. I went to another forum and asked for tips, they said to Reset All settings (not erase all content). I did that, and guess what, it is stuck in the apple logo and sometimes with the spinning wheel. Now I CANNOT go into DFU mode because I do not have a backup of anything and if I restore im screwed and all my apps, contact, etc. will go away. I have access to the iPhone system folders (iFunbox, diskaid, etc.)

I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails. I am running the latest version of the software
version 10.60.
I know the E5 has already been release in the UK (July 30th) but when is it due to be released in Australia? It seems like the "coming soon" tag has been allocated to this phone for months now.

1. At 11.45 PM set an alarm for the next day at 8.30 AM
2. Turn off the phone
3. Go to sleep. Remember to sleep at least 8 hours
4. When the alarm rings at 8.30 AM, snooze it
5. When the alarm rings at 8.35 AM, snooze it again
6. When the alarm rings at 8.40 AM, stop it
7. When the phone asks "switch on phone?" answer Yes
8. Insert the PIN (if any)
9. Congrats, you got a WSOD!

a. I did a deep reset *#7370# before setting the alarm (the video proves that)
b. I don't know if snoozing (points 4 and 5) is necessary (you can snooze more times), I can test this once a day, tomorrow I'll know more.

I also have Google maps on my 5800 and maps and photo of my estate are there. Even my 3 year old navman in-car shows my estate. Mmmm free and oout of date. I'll stick to Google maps.

But even then the meetings/reminders are not visible, apart from on the Print Preview part of the calendar. It won't allow me add any meetings, reminders etc.
