Jan 16, 2010Why every time when i turm on my phone , ask me to enter date and time? .. whitout take off the battery?! its annoying. plus, i need the alarm and its not working if always get reset.

Nov 29, 2015Just got another V10 and I notice in settings, about phone, status it shows a last factory data reset date and time. This is the same date and time that I opened and started the phone new out of the box.
I have never done a factory data reset to the phone. Does your V10 show a "Last Factory Data Reset" under these settings?
I've never seen a new phone fresh out of the box showing a last factory data reset logged.

Jun 25, 2014I got a Nokia Lumia 1520 last week. Coming from an HTC One (M7), I am still impressed with the smoothness of Windows Phone OS -rarely I get any loading for an app. Moreover Metro has come a long way since the days of ZuneHD.
However I got a slight problem with the date/ time. Both the date and time gets reset back to 20 July 2013, 03:00 after the battery runs out or I try a soft reset.I already tried:
1) Setting the time on manual; it will reset back to manual time and the date/time above.
2) Setting the time on automatic, will still get reset back to manual and the wrong date/time.
3) Instead of setting the phone on 4G, I used the 3G and automatic. Same as above.
4) Setting the date manually and then to automatic, keeps the date/time I setup manually.
5) Turning the device off and on again (not soft reset with the volume key) will keep the date/ time regardless if it was set manually or manually and then automatically.

Apr 29, 2010I recently upgraded to 400.21.013 and I noticed that whenever I run out of battery when I start the phone over I have to manually set the time and date. I don´t know if the upgrade was just a coincidence, or I have a problem. I red that there is an auxiliary battery in the phone that takes care of manteining those settings. Is it possible that it run out after a year and a half?Any ideas?

Dec 4, 2012Bought a sim-free 920 from Phones 4 U and set the date and time correctly on setup, but have noticed on two occasions that the time and date were displayed incorrectly.
I have also noted that switching to "set automatically" does not alter the time and date correctly. When I first got the phone it was set to Automatic. After the first time I noticed the incorrect time/date, I set it manually, but for some strange reason, it happened again: the date and time were incorrect.
I have set it manually again, and waiting for the problem to re-occur...

I've had it for just over a month and just set the time for the third time.This simply wont work as I use the phone for scheduling and appointments.Now there is meant to be the option for the time to be updated by the carrier automatically, I've been into shops and compared my phone to the new ones and mine, for some reason does not have the feature. Dec 3, 2012Has anyone else had issues with the Lumia 920 showing the wrong date and time? I entered both manually when I first set up the phone as the automatic setting did not work. After a couple days I noticed that the date had changed to 1st Sep 2012 and the time was a couple of hours out. I corrected but again a couple of days later the clock is a couple of hours slow and the date was 3 weeks out. I then changed the settings to "automatic" turned the phone off and on again and the date is a week behind and the time is 3 hours fast.

Jun 25, 2010I want to transfer all the images from my E75 memory card into 1 directory on my PC. For this, the PC Suite 7 Image Transfer seems like a handy tool. However, I synced the pictures earlier with the subfolders by accident.I then deleted the picture files and subfolders and expected the Image Transfer software to notice this. But the software says that the last sync was done and there are no new images to transfer. I guess the date is in registry or a config file but the PC Suite program directory is a mess so I cant find the file?

Nokia :: E52 / Date Display Does Not Update & Reflect Correct Date
May 31, 2010Right from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?

The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off.Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of todays date.
