I know the E5 has already been release in the UK (July 30th) but when is it due to be released in Australia? It seems like the "coming soon" tag has been allocated to this phone for months now.
When will Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition be released in United Kingdom? I have been waiting for this phone to release in UK for so long and still no sign of its release in UK.
Looks like its coming out june 4th for $199! Anyone else considering jumping ship and getting into one of these? Ive been with AT&T for about 4 years now, sititng with an iPhone for most of it, and a Nexus One for a few months, but for the cheaper plan (assumed) i think im gioing to go the route of the Evo 4G. $129 plus a 18% discount vs. $161 after discount sounds even much more appealing now that theres a beautiful phone behind it.
Does anyone know when the Samsung Galaxy S Pro (GSM) will be released and in what territory first? Does anyone know if this will be UMTS 850/1900 thus compatible in Canada?
We know there is the mobilesafari exploit which allows untethered start-up for new bootrom 3GS and iPod touch devices. There is a good chance the geohot has found the same exploit. Now that Apple have it narrowed down to mobilesafari, will they not try to find the exploit themselves before releasing any significant update?
the countdown thing on this website is to announce that the n900 is coming to australia. it will only be available from Nokia repair centres, the RRP is $1499
I recently purchased a Nokia 2730 in the UK. It was fitted with a pre-paid "3" network SIM card at the time of purchase. When our holiday was over I brought the phone back with me to Australia. I was told in the UK that this phone would work in Australia provided I fitted an Australian "3" network SIM card. Today, the new SIM card was fitted here in Australia but the phone still doesn't work. Any ideas would be very welcome - before I throw the phone in the garbage.
Right from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?
I have an X6 16GB, which I turn off at night when I go to bed, about once a week I switch it on in the morning and the date hasn't changed from the previous day. The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off. Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of todays date. I can log into my emails via Outlook Express on my p.c and the date will be correct there.I have software version v20 installed, the same problems still occurred on the previous firmware as well.Any help greatfully received

I am having Nokia N97.i recentley updated firmaware from 10.0.* to V.20.0.019.Now my phone is showning " System Error " when switch on. Also I have checked new for release of new firmaware for N97 i.e 21.0.045. How can I update this firmaware for my phone.
I've earlier posted two questions about the issues.Would also like to push for theese, for me, very important improvements in a future E72 software release:Improve the search, when dialing from stand by mode (home screen), to also include the "Save As" field from Outlook, or at least the company name. It works in the contacts screen and should of course work in the home screen.Evolve the categories in the calendar so that it can be used with Outlook categories fully. These two improvements would really add a lot of value for me and i think for a lot of other people who use the E72 for business.Would really be nice to here from someone at Nokia that "we are aware and working on a solution".
Can any of you confirm how is the Video Clarity whilst making Video calls on Skype. is the Video and call clarity good enough.I guess not many people have tried this since the PR 1.2 release. Dont see any posts so far on people confirming it?

I've purchased a Softbank Japanese iPhone 3GS 16GB off eBay and I thought it was unlocked by when I just re-read the message from the seller I received it said not unlocked.I read what I wanted to read though and read unlocked.So.I was just wondering, is there any possibility that I'll be able to get my iPhone working in Australia under Vodafone? Ever? I'm willing to do anything atm.
My new unlocked Pearl will receive 3G in a different location to my home but at home the tower that connects me is 900Mhz only and I cannot get 3g. Can get 2g ok. Another sim with same provider will get 3g in their phone but when in my phone will not get 3g. So issue is my phone only. Is there a setting somewhere that resticts me from receiving 900Mhz 3g? Or is there something I can do to receive 3GI use Optus as the provider and have confirmed that 900Mhz is all they use on the local tower.I have tried the reboot option i.e. removing battery whilst turned on to no avail.Details of phone :V 9100 Smartphone 3g WiFi v5.0.0.623 (Bundle 1083 Platform 6.2.0.46 3 Bands 1,2,5,6Cryptographic Kernel v3.8.5.85 Branding version 1.0.122.567

Do you remember date bug and snooze bug?Well, alarm bug strikes again!Ok, this time is not worse as the previous (I mean, there is no risk to miss an appointment or sleep till noon), you will get only a WSOD (White Screen Of Death) 1. At 11.45 PM set an alarm for the next day at 8.30 AM 2. Turn off the phone 3. Go to sleep. Remember to sleep at least 8 hours 4. When the alarm rings at 8.30 AM, snooze it 5. When the alarm rings at 8.35 AM, snooze it again 6. When the alarm rings at 8.40 AM, stop it 7. When the phone asks "switch on phone?" answer Yes 8. Insert the PIN (if any) 9. Congrats, you got a WSOD! I was sure to be able to reproduce it so I made a (very bad quality) video, I can post it if you need Link to the last part of the video: http://www.zshare.net/video/7815866644a5ee87/ Notes: a. I did a deep reset *#7370# before setting the alarm (the video proves that) b. I don't know if snoozing (points 4 and 5) is necessary (you can snooze more times), I can test this once a day, tomorrow I'll know more.
