Nov 7, 2011Whenever I read the PR statements about Symbian Belle, the older Symbian^3 touchscreen only phones such as the N8, C6-01, C7 etc are mentioned as being eligible for the Belle update, but nothing specifically about the E6-00.
Does any one know if the E6-00 will get the Belle update for sure?

Mar 29, 2012After installing the Symbian Belle latest updates on these phones, most of the Widgets lost their colors. Now most of them are only in white. (I have 2 of these for the moment)Although it does not had an impact on the functionality, it sure would look much better if the Icons / widgets are getting their colors back as in the Anna version.

Aug 29, 2011I have been trying to fix following two problems from past one week by going through various posts in this forum, but nothing has helped yet. I am hoping that brains in this forum can help me fix my issues.
After update to Symbian Anna
1) OVI store is not working. I am able to open ovi store and see apps but moment I click on download.. it just hangs there.I have tried installling QT files as mentioned in the forum I download QT files from Nokia which were in .sisx format. I am not able to install them either by directly copying in phone or via Ovi suite.I am getting Error 300.
2) Google Maps is not working. I have installed it multiple times. When I click on Google Maps to open it , a blank window comes and it closes automatically.

Aug 22, 2011I was upgrading my Nokia E7 to symbian Anna and while installing Symbian Anna update 2/2 the phone told me restart to complete installation. But the installion was still running. I actaully restarted the phone while it was updating 2/2. I did so because the phone told me to restart. When restarted I couldn't find the 2/2 in the update list in the SW update. I can only see 1/2 and the other 2 optional items. but 2/2 was not shown in the update list. I hard rest my phone as I might be able to install them 2 but no luck. Now the phone seems to be working fine and the SW update says I have the latest software. Ovi update says I have the latest software.

Oct 25, 2011I cannot download and install the Symbian Anna 1/2 update, always when I try it says that the download and install failed.Same happens if I try downloading via Nokia Ovi, Nokia Software Installer or directly via phone menu.The Symbian Anna 2/2 update was installed with no problems.I have updated the E7 software to version 022.014.It seems that the E7 works with no problems, but in the software updater it is said that Anna 1/2 should be installed.

1. Are they intend to put in final production of the E7 device the Symbian^4 O.S?
2. If not, will it be possible to upgrade this device from Symbian^3 to Symbian^4 O.S?
That is, I think, the crucial problem in final production because the Symbian^3 is breaking in the everything except in visual part of UI which is a little bit démodé.As I can see on the Symbian page they are rushing to change this with a lot of changes in this part of O.S.it will be very disappointing to me baying such a device and after half a year faced with a new O.S. (specially UI which is most important for users-the name told us this-UI)

Feb 13, 2012I am updating my E7 with nokia belle with the nokia suite on my pc when i connect my phone i have the "phone info and tools " always in the status "updating" so i can't sync. or update my E7 with Belle because the suite is always stating busy and i couldn't turn off the update.

Feb 11, 2012I had recently updated my phone with the belle update,i have had the update for slightly over 2 days. This morning at around 6am the phone was beeping or something so i put it on charge, i was too tired to realize the kind of sound it was so i put it on charge and went back to sleep and found it off later on, i tried hard resetting it, putting it on charge, but it won't come on.I lost connection to my phone during the installation of the update but after doing the the installation process it worked fine)

Mar 17, 2012Just updated my E6 to belle, I waited for update to be available in Slovenia. Now I have nice phone, not a smart phone. I did reset the phone several times.
Now I have problems:
1. connecting to WIFI, my phone finds my wifi network, I can connect to it, but soon the connection is lost and when I try to connect again - it finds the same network - market as unknown, (it does not remember the wepkey,
2. browsing the internet - problem because loosing connection to wifi network.
3. setting gmail only through wifi - I can set it up, when trying to download any mails, I get a notice- mobile connection is unavailable, but I cannot set it to connect via wifi - as I had it set with Anna.
4. connection settings for phone and apps - I have less settings, cannot set it as I could with Anna.

May 26, 2012I Just updated to nokia belle on my e7, but after i try to turn it on i get White NOKIA with black background, and than it turns to something like a loading screen with 6 dots, which i guess load something, but after that the screen turns black, the home screen is glowing and nothing happens.

Feb 7, 2012I updated my phone to latest Nokia Belle OS, but since then I have noticed that whenever I touch the phone it vibrates, Previously it was not there, only in outdoor mode or meeting mode (profile I am talking about), if I select vibration on then the phone vibrates, but now all the time it vibrates, It is very irrititaing for me.. I don't want my phone to vibrate whenever I am in home. But that option is not there, also E7 with belle has many changes, am I missing something? I have checkd in the notification area and silent option is there, but it is silent for the entire phone, I want my phone to ring but not to vibrate.
Can I do that again in Belle?

Feb 10, 2012i upgraded my nokia e7 to nokia belle recently and I was very excited but after the update I found out that there no longer was a battery status showing the percentage left. I really liked the old battery status so you would know how much battery life is left. It is just a bit weird that a very good thing from the previous version is discontinued on the belle version.
