The Calendar on my E71 seems to be frozen on today's date. It won't allow me move from today unless I enter a "Go to" date. But even then the meetings/reminders are not visible, apart from on the Print Preview part of the calendar. It won't allow me add any meetings, reminders etc.

I just upgraded by blackberry torch from 6.0.0.246 per the blackberry desktop message to 6.0.0.600 (bundle 2647), platform 6.6.0.223.Now every time I click on the icon for the calendar, the phone seems to be frozen and I had to remove the battery to get it restarted.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOver the last week, when I try to open the calendar it loads the background with the search and add options but nothing else, then shuts the app off and returns to the home screen. When I double click the home button, it shows the calendar on the last event I looked at but when I open the calendar from there it is frozen on that screen before exiting the app again.Â

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Nokia X6-00 16GB version in India and started using Outlook recently. Recently i got some meeting requests in my mail and they are present n Outlook calendar. I want them to be syncronised to my Phone's calendar.
My phone's calendar events are going into Outlook but not the other way...
I did general master reset doing the *#7370#- it restored the phone to the original settings then I started transfering contacts from the SIM card. I editted them. Then the phone went back to the original profile (them, homescreen) as it was before the formatting. Then it froze, wont let me type anything but the * or # key. Wont let me go into the menu. I tried restarting 6 times and the same thing happens over and over. I called Rogers Tech support, they have never heard of anything like that-and suggest a replacement. One thing I though it could be is that somehow during the formatting the phone got locked, but Roger's says it is not. So now I am out of the phone and need this one fixed or replaced. Has anyone heard of anything like that before? If so please help me before I buy another phone, because I would rather save this one

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got a new Nokia 5230 and I was going through the Ovi Suite to backup stuff (worked well) and then went to the software update part (since I found that there was a newer software version available compared to the one that came with the phone).While updating (through the Ovi Suite software update part, not through the NSU), there was an error and the update failed (I think) and the phone froze. Since I didn't know it's better to wait for a while before doing anything, I immediately took off the USB cable and went through the hard reset part, remove the battery and put it back on, etc.Nothing worked and the phone doesn't turn on at all.Is there anything I can do? I saw some posts on the web about using external software's / applications to flash the phone, etc. But I don't want to get into those things before trying out the proven ones - meaning, dropping a word here, and going to the Nokia Care point. I cannot go there till Monday, so I was wondering if there was anything I could do to try and bring back the phone to life?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just noticed a possible bug. At 12:00AM, the date is supposed to switch over the next day, but it is 1:51AM already in my area, however, my date still reads Friday. And if I change the format of the date that I want in the settings, it does not change. Anybody experience this and know how to fix it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Nokia Lumia 920 just under a month ago, a few times it's blacked out and i've done a reset (hold volume button and power button down) and it's worked, this time however when I done that reset the screen is not working, the side buttons are working but the touch screen is not working at all, I've tried reseting it multiple times, with holding both volume buttons with the power button and holding down one or the other the with power button and camera button, I've tried removing the sim but with no resolution and I don't know what else I can do. I know chances are I will have to take it to a store but I thought I would try on here first.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Lumia 800 has gone crazy. This is a replacement phone for the last Lumia that I got that turned off one day and then didn't turn back on. I have had this one for only three weeks.Last night at about 9pm, before I got any New Year messages the screen of my phone changed to a multi coloured static looking screen and I couldn't do anything to fix it.I could hear messages coming through occasionally and the phone rang a few times but I was unable to answer it due to not being able to see what I was doing.I have tried doing a soft reset to no avail and I have also drained the battery til it went dead and have recharged it, but have not had any joy with it today either.This phone has not been dropped or damaged in any way, so I have no idea what is going on.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my Nokia software to OVI 2, or whatever its called. I will admit, it does look a bit better than the previous version, seems a bit nicer to use, and I like the fact that music, syncing and updating, is all now done from the same application.
Its about time I didn't have to have 3 separate applications installed for my one cellphone.
But I am having problems.
1. I use my phone to connect to the web, and within the first few minutes I was notified that OVI 2 has stopped working, and needs to close etc. I mean, I hardly used the app, and it crashes just from connecting to the web!?
2. I did a software update for my E63, and halfway through the update, OVI threw up an error and said the device was disconnected. I was nowhere near the USB cable. Thankfully, the software update must have completed, because the phone restarted, and when I checked my software version it was up to 2.00.21.
3. So, I unplugged the phone, plugged it back in to restore my contacts, etc. which worked fine, except I don't have any contacts. Why did the calender entries restore, but not the contacts? Luckily, I have all my numbers saved on my SIM anyways, so I just copied them from there.
Did I do something wrong during the backup/restore?
4. As I write this now, I thought I'd plug my phone in, and just check if I could do the restore again, but the phone no longer comes up with that selection menu allowing me to select PC Suite. I decided to restart my phone.
It has now frozen on the screen where you enter your PIN.
Had this phone for one month. When I tried to shut it down today, it stayed on the 'nokia' screen for a few hours. I tried to forcefullly shut it off by pulling out the battery. The fone shut off. But, when I place the battery back and turn it on, it stays at the same 'nokia' screen. Tried this a few times and no help yet.Any ideas anyone? Any way to reset the phone without losing my photos,videos, voice recordings and music?

Also Moxier calendar does not show anything in the calendar though I have given the right server name for google.

However, the N97's calendar has the 6th of January listed as a Tuesday, and if you set the phone's date correctly, it has the wrong day of the week selected. I haven't had an opportunity to check for a firmware update, but that will be my first stop. Any ideas what might be causing this?

So the Appointments stayed in my home time zone, they just showed in the equivalent time period on the iPhone calendar.Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedAm facing a peculiar problem with my Blackberry Calendars.A brief background of the situation : I have 3 email ids synced to my Blackberry Bold 9000 (OS 5.0.0.681). However, none of the emails have any calendars associated with them. I sync my Address Book & Calendar entries through Outlook 2010. At this stage, there are 197 entries in the Calendar, all marked in Blue. Default Services does not show an CICAL option. Neither is there any CICAL in the Service Book.When I install the Facebook app (1.8 or above), all calendar entries get marked in Red and named as Facebook. Default Services starts showing a CICAL option with only one entry "Facebook". A Facebook CICAL is added to the Service Book. There is no option or entry for any other Calendar.
The problem is that all the entries under Facebook are the same 197 as the Outlook entries. No entries from my Facebook account are added to the device. So it is as if the Outlook Calendar has been renamed as Facebook Calendar without any Facebook entries being added to the database. The entries are not duplicated under Facebook. Just that original Outlook Calendar has now become the Facebook Calendar.I would like to have both these Calendar entries (Outlook & Facebook) on the device as many of my business associates / clients etc are on my Facebook profile and i would like some reminder of their bdays etc too.Things that I have tried so far to rectify this are as follows. Each process has been repeated multiple times with no change in results:
1) Re-set up the Facebook Calendar Entries association in the Facebook App > Options
2) Deleted Facebook CICAL from Service Book and then re-associated the App as above
3) Re-installed the Facebook app after deleting the Facebook CICAL.
I have facebook App installed on my lumia 1320, but my lumia 1320's calendar is not synchronized with facebook calendar. Hence I am not able to see Facebook calender's birthday on my lumia calendar.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSamsung SGH-t749 using New PC Studio ver. 1.2.0 IEC. When I try to sync Outlook Calendar with the phone calendar it runs out of memory. I don't know if it is using the internal mem., but I don't see a way to direct it to use the SD card. It also mentions that it is getting email info from Outlook. Does this mean that it is also syncing the address book? I only want to keep the calendar on the phone synced. Anyone have any input?

Recently I have been unable to sync my Blackberry calendar with my Outlook 2010 calendar. I am getting a message "calendar not installed" when I synch my organizer files. My other organizer files synch okay. I am able to make calendar entries on my device and on Outlook but unable to synch calendars. I tried everything I could think of.

I wanted to share my Home iCloud calendar on my iPhone with my wife so we could both add our respective events and see when the other person is busy. So far, all well. I logged on to the iCloud web site and shared my calendar with my wife.
She then accepted the shared calendar, but then her own Home calendar was replaced with mine, and she can no longer find hers anywhere. It's not on iCloud when she logs on to the web site, and there is no trace of it on her iPhone. And is there a chance we can get her calendar back? There were a lot of events on her calendar.

Recently a couple of my board members purchased IPhones and IPads. And I have set them up the best I can. If they create a calendar entry on the IPhone or IPad it will show up in Outlook right away. However if they or one of their admins log onto their Outlook calendars and remove a schedule meeting the entry will not delete off the IPhone or IPads. I know there is a 15 minute sync on the devices but I have tested them after hours and days and the entries are still on the calendars on the mobile devices. This creates serious issues when people show up to meetings and destinations that have been cancled days in advanced.

What would be the easiest way to export my calendar off my E72?I cannot use iSync because it won't work due to some strange bug i can't get fixed between my phone and computer.I do have all my calendar on Ovi, which works great, but i can't seem to find a way to get it OFF Ovi to use on other phones.
