Someone locally is selling an N73 for ATT but I am currently on T-Mobile. Can this phone be unlocked for T-Mobile? I saw the ad from this site for www.cellunlockstore.com and not sure if they are reliable. I don't want to buy the phone and have no use for it.

AT&T can't help me because it's technically not on their network anymore. I tried to call Blackberry but, I'm sorry, there are no humans and my problem doesn't make any sense to the automated system. View 2 Replies View RelatedOkay, I send a friend of mine some pictures I took with my unlocked Omnia i910 and they tried to set them as wallpaper on their i465 Boost mobile phone, but when they press the menu button there is no option to set as wallpaper like with the pictures that were taken with their phones camera.I didn't know if there is a hack or unlocking method to undo this restriction that Boost put on their phones, I will be the one doing this, so that is why I am posting and not them.
I have unlocked and modded several phone before, did a google search on the i465 and only found pay sites, which is not what I want since I did pay one site 9.99 for the unlock code in the past and their code screwed up my phone.
I just requested and recieved an authorized unlock for my at&t iPhone 3G. When I put in a TMO SIM it just keeps searching and never finds a network. The phone the TMO SIM came from had a strong signal (also an unlocked att phone).

I have previously had a similar phone which came with music which for the last year I have been using. That unlimited downloads has now expired. So I have plugged in my new phone, which I have not used to purcahse any music with through my old unlimited downloads, and it is saying:You can't use this mobile for Nokia Music Unlimited edition mobile. The phone is capable of playing music (it is an XpressMusic mobile). I have specifically gone and purchased this phone for the unlimited downloads and will not be very happy if I am unable to activate it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe browser on my Nokia 701 is great -certainly much better than past versions- but websites 'see' it as a full size browser and so deliver it full size web pages. I have found this leads to much dragging and zooming. If the site also has pop-ups (which can fully obscure the screen!) this can lead to misclicks, impossible to navigate sites etc. Also full size webpages are slow to load and more expensive on data.
This issue has led me to either manually navigating to the mobile versions of the websites I like (bit of a pain) or to simply use the Opera Mini browser instead. The Opera browser is free and websites 'recognise' it as a mobile browser. This means without any work when I surf I instantly get the mobile version of the website I want (assuming one exists), easy to navigate and fast (and so cheaper) to load. In many cases this works much better for me.
So I think Nokia have missed a trick here. Maybe they should offer a feature whereby the user can tell their browser to find either mobile-friendly pages or normal ones. They could even add in a second browser shortcut, one which launches the Nokia browser in a 'mobile' mode.
Now running a 701, beautiful phone to handle and use...now that it has stopped sending my personal information to Nokia via 360Panel [rolls eyes]

Is there a safety mechanism that would not allow NOKIA battery to be discharged to less than 20%? Or must the end user make sure they don't discharge the battery to empty or to less than 20% themselves? So when should we recharge NOKIA mobile set? I had original Nokia in my hand and I compered few things and this phone is little different.
I have a feeling that display has less colours that the other one. It starts with different tone then original one. In the right up corner has got bigger battery sign and when you charge it the lines which indicates charging process moves very quickly. It is not just that I have noticed that quality of camera is not that good. All icons are on the right place but it looks like there is a old soft in it. I know that anyone can put a sticker on the phone but I wonder where is information about product code.
I have tried to use number 039650 because it looks the most similar to product code but your web site says:
"...That is not a valid product code. Please check your product code and type it again. For example, most codes begin '05xxxxx'...."
I have tried to paste number with A in front of it as it is on the sticker on the phone and I got following:
"...Sorry, there is no software currently available for that product code via the Nokia Software Update tool...."

When i switch on the mobile its automatically switch off and then on again. It Atuomatically Switch on and off again and again many times till it gets ON fully. someone told me that its software get corrupted you may need to flash out the software and re-install.
I need to know how to fix this problem? Is there any software available by Nokia to flash the software and re-install it? I already reset it factory default I also tried the 3 button reset but both does not work for me.

i get spots in my home area of bay area, california, but i know this is becuase they are doing the site optimizations here...sometimes, my coverage is absolutely nothing where it was decent before. even though the HSPA+ is supposed to go to 21mb/s, our devices are rated up to 10mb/s on the n900...which is still the fasted available...........
Where do I get the ovi software for my mobile..? I answered yes to install new version today and it installed then crashed. Subsequently the phone started thowing kinds of errors when starting apps. Had to uninstall OVI from my phone. Phone now works OK but can only access ovi via web. I would like OVI app back on my phone.
