Nokia :: When Should Mobile Set Be Recharged?

I'm wondering since I read that Li0Ion battery should not be discharged less to than 20% but at the same time excessive charging and discharging cycle would deteriorate the battery capacity.
Is there a safety mechanism that would not allow NOKIA battery to be discharged to less than 20%? Or must the end user make sure they don't discharge the battery to empty or to less than 20% themselves? So when should we recharge NOKIA mobile set? Salvation entails eternal power which will make every tyrant weep.

Today for some reason my iphn4S completely died and I can not turn it on or even recharge it. It was not flat so I dont know why it died. I can not even start it through iTunes. Any comment on ways to start it or is it stuffed? It is only 6 months old.

I have just purchased a Nokia 5130 XpressMusic mobile phone which came with music. I have previously had a similar phone which came with music which for the last year I have been using. That unlimited downloads has now expired. So I have plugged in my new phone, which I have not used to purcahse any music with through my old unlimited downloads, and it is saying:You can't use this mobile for Nokia Music Unlimited edition mobile. The phone is capable of playing music (it is an XpressMusic mobile). I have specifically gone and purchased this phone for the unlimited downloads and will not be very happy if I am unable to activate it.

The browser on my Nokia 701 is great -certainly much better than past versions- but websites 'see' it as a full size browser and so deliver it full size web pages. I have found this leads to much dragging and zooming. If the site also has pop-ups (which can fully obscure the screen!) this can lead to misclicks, impossible to navigate sites etc. Also full size webpages are slow to load and more expensive on data.
This issue has led me to either manually navigating to the mobile versions of the websites I like (bit of a pain) or to simply use the Opera Mini browser instead. The Opera browser is free and websites 'recognise' it as a mobile browser. This means without any work when I surf I instantly get the mobile version of the website I want (assuming one exists), easy to navigate and fast (and so cheaper) to load. In many cases this works much better for me.
So I think Nokia have missed a trick here. Maybe they should offer a feature whereby the user can tell their browser to find either mobile-friendly pages or normal ones. They could even add in a second browser shortcut, one which launches the Nokia browser in a 'mobile' mode.
Now running a 701, beautiful phone to handle and use...now that it has stopped sending my personal information to Nokia via 360Panel [rolls eyes]

It looks like normal nokia phone but it was both from Hong Kong over e-bay.
I had original Nokia in my hand and I compered few things and this phone is little different.
I have a feeling that display has less colours that the other one. It starts with different tone then original one. In the right up corner has got bigger battery sign and when you charge it the lines which indicates charging process moves very quickly. It is not just that I have noticed that quality of camera is not that good. All icons are on the right place but it looks like there is a old soft in it. I have check soft. version V 10.0.021 22-08-09 RM-320 Nokia N95 8GB(12.01)
When I open and take battery off I can see sticker of Nokia. It says Type RM-84 which is different the from the display. Then IMEI - long number

I know that anyone can put a sticker on the phone but I wonder where is information about product code.
I have tried to use number 039650 because it looks the most similar to product code but your web site says:
"...That is not a valid product code. Please check your product code and type it again. For example, most codes begin '05xxxxx'...."
I have tried to paste number with A in front of it as it is on the sticker on the phone and I got following:
"...Sorry, there is no software currently available for that product code via the Nokia Software Update tool...."

I'd NOKIA 2310. I'm using this for the last 3 years. I'd never attached this fone with Computer.But now-a-days I'm having some strange problem.
When i switch on the mobile its automatically switch off and then on again. It Atuomatically Switch on and off again and again many times till it gets ON fully. someone told me that its software get corrupted you may need to flash out the software and re-install.
I need to know how to fix this problem? Is there any software available by Nokia to flash the software and re-install it? I already reset it factory default I also tried the 3 button reset but both does not work for me.

My name is Mohammed Dawwas and I'm working as an engineer in a Telecom. company, I was wondering for a long time , why Nokia doesn't invent a mobile with 2 SIM cards because i think it will be easier for anyone has 2 SIM ( mobiles ) to integrate them into one mobile, which will make our movement easier and effective instead of moving with 2 mobiles.I think this idea will increase Nokia sales.i hope that my idea was discussed clearly.

T-Mobile Teaser Page and then, if you have not noticed, as i have when i was in portland last week....HSPA+ is getting rolled out with speeds up to 21mb/s. here are the rates that are coming or are already available to date: my device was "locked" in at the 3.5g the whole time i was in portland and my battery lasted longer, proly because it was getting my data faster and was not transmitting as long...my calls were also somehow "clearer"
i get spots in my home area of bay area, california, but i know this is becuase they are doing the site optimizations here...sometimes, my coverage is absolutely nothing where it was decent before. even though the HSPA+ is supposed to go to 21mb/s, our devices are rated up to 10mb/s on the n900...which is still the fasted available...........

Where do I get the ovi software for my mobile..? I answered yes to install new version today and it installed then crashed. Subsequently the phone started thowing kinds of errors when starting apps. Had to uninstall OVI from my phone. Phone now works OK but can only access ovi via web. I would like OVI app back on my phone.

Over the past two days i have been unable to connect to the internet using my Nokia X6 (i am on the orange network incase you need to know).The phone lets me select the internet i want to use (either WILAN or orange) and i have always selected orange without many problem, but it takes like 5-10 mins to connect and then when it does connect it says "invalid server name"Or, it connects quickly and then says something like "packet data unavailable" and then says "internet connection unavailable"I was trying to access facebook, and thought it might be the site, but its the same with all of the apps that require me to use the internet, i cant access it.I have the correct amount of signal and battery to be able to access the internet, but i just cant connect.

I have been using Nokia N8 for the past two months now and am fully satisfied from everything that Nokia has given in it as an Update or through Ovi Store or either way around.The problem I just faced now while installing Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.40 is that when I install it everything is smooth, but when I open the application the click to "I Agree" doesn't work but the other click of changing the Language works.

I think there is a bug in 808 3g mobile data connection which causes the phone to turn off. It happened when you are in zero or weak connection. There is no problem if I turn mobile data off or use WiFi only. This is annoying especially if you use always on Whatsapp.

Whats the point in having the drag down button option to turn off internet and wi-fi connections if the phone is gonna keep reminding me every 20 secs that ' Mobile data is off ' and thus stopping the phone from going into auto sleep mode?

I am very interested about the Nokia E52. I think it is a good phone. I have a question though, is it true that you can't 'use detail' on an incoming SMS? ( i.e. someone sent you an SMS with a telephone number, you have to WRITE IT DOWN for you to save it. call it, etc..., you can't just 'use number'...), I am very bothered by this because this feature is so basic that it is included almost on all mobile phones... and SHOULD be included as well. By the way, I've read about this article on a e52 review from a website. Please tell me if the review is true or false.

Since few days I'm having a problem with my mobile camera. When i try to run it, my screen blacks out and then returns to main screen without any notification. I have a Nokia 5000 that I bought and used in China for a couple years with no problems and now I am back in the U.S.
I have since signed up for AT&T with an iPhone but had a free card for T Mobile prepaid I would like to add to this phone.
I called today and gave them the activation, sim #, IMEI #, etc. and everything went well BUT the cell phone does NOT see the network. I can't make any calls and when calling my new number from another phone it goes straight to voicemail.
Does T Mobile require a special phone to use their prepaid service? I was under the impression that you could use any phone. Also I was under the impression that this phone is NOT locked because in China 99% of people DON'T use contracts but rather just buy prepaid minutes anywhere you go. And this is exactly what I did - just add minutes every few months.
I also thought that if your phone is locked when you put in a SIM card it will basically not let you access the phone. Mine does not do this. I can still access all features. It's just that there is no service.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix this situation? I am definitely not that educated on cell phones, unlocked, hacking them, etc and this phone is not worth my time going to too much trouble. But if it's at all possible, I would like to get this to work as a backup.
