HTC :: Way To Unlock Touch Pro2 From T-Mobile

I don't know I am allowed to post this but I need desperate help.Here is my problem. (Copied and pasted from my other forums I asked)I was wondering if there was a way to unlock HTC Touch Pro2 from T-Mobile.The problem is I use prepaid and I want to use this phone. (See link above this sentence)It says you need a data service to use this phone or something.Is there ANY way to bypass this and just enter a SIM card and use the phone? I don't need the fancy gadgets. Just the windows mobile thingy and calling/texting. Does unlocking solve this problem? If so, please tell me HOW to unlock it.

I haven't really been here in ages, but I come to a problem now. I need to get a new extended battery for my T-Mo HTC Touch Pro2. I have a cover; I just need to find a new battery. I tried finding one on eBay, and all I find is a Mugen 3200 mAh for $79.99. That is double the amount I want to spend. I don't want any cheap Chinese crap neither, so it dies 5 months later, like this one that I have. I paid $40 and it came with a door. So that is why I'm looking for just a battery right now, I have a very good looking door.

The adapters are out there. Would any of them fit under the battery cover without bending it or it not securing correctly? maybe an adapter that you cut your sims to fit? Would the stock rom support it? or i would likely have to find a cooked rom to support dual sim right? I would prefer not to cut up my sim cards.

I have just purchased a Touch Pro 2 locked to T-Mobile. I would like to unlock sim. I already have Hard SPL .85 Olinex on it. Would the Sim Unlock for Universal work? I have searched forums and internet for days and no luck. My last phone was a CDMA Mogul and I am newbie to GSM.

I was wondering, is there anyway to update the firmware on the Rumor Touch for Virgin Mobile? I sent a email to them, and they said to go to the LG website and it should pop up to update the phone...but all that came up was for tv's and stuff. Nothing cell related.I noticed they took the update firmware option off the VM version, verses the sprint version

i have given my imei to 3 unlock services. they cannot unlock each one says i am giving incorrect imei. im not a noob to finding imei its under the battery or *#06# from dialer app. what do i do? they all refund me so its just annoying i want my att backup sim to work in my tmo touch pro 2. Touch ID on my iPhone quit working when unlocking the iPhone almost alltogether. It worked perfectly for 9 months or so, but suddenly the Touch ID quit unlocking the iPhone. Maybe 14 out of 15 unlockings used to work like a charm, but now barely 1 out of 15 works. I havent had any problems when making purchases with Touch ID.

I was trying to find a post about how to enable downloads on Virgin Mobile's LG rumor touch and I wasn't able to find one so I decided to post my question.Does anybody know a post about this ? or does anyone know how to enable downloads please? I've been trying to download ring tones and I will "NOT" pay $2.50 for a single ringtone from Virgin Mobile I'd rather stay with those the phone itself has already.

So I just bought a Blackberry Torch 9800 from eBay. The phone is locked to AT&T and I'm a T-Mobile customer. I called T-Mobile and she told me to call AT&T. AT&T can't help me because it's technically not on their network anymore. I tried to call Blackberry but, I'm sorry, there are no humans and my problem doesn't make any sense to the automated system. So, how do I unlock my phone to get it to accept my T-Mobile SIM card?

It is locked to t mobile and I would like to unlock it, I phoned t mobile twice and one person said that they do it for around 15pound whereas another lady said they'll do it for free but they need the original number it was bought with (I don't have that).

I cannot get the slider on the touch screen to unlock my iPhone 3G. There are parts of the screen that do not work consistently. I can grab the slider and move it, but right before the phone should unlock the slider disengages and moves back to the left.

I'm obviously new here and I'm pretty much clueless about what I need to do. I have unlocked my Touch Pro 2 and have tried to call into Boost Mobile Customer Support multiple times any they will not activate it because it's not 'Boost Equipment'. I have told them my new phone is a gift and I don't know what it is and things of that nature but they ALWAYS ask me for the DEC number and I'm not sure how to get around that. I currently have a Sanyo Incognito hooked up to my Boost Mobile Unlimited Monthly account. I need to know if anyone can help me get it activated? I have spent way too much money on this phone to just have it sit there and do nothing.

Okay, I send a friend of mine some pictures I took with my unlocked Omnia i910 and they tried to set them as wallpaper on their i465 Boost mobile phone, but when they press the menu button there is no option to set as wallpaper like with the pictures that were taken with their phones camera.I didn't know if there is a hack or unlocking method to undo this restriction that Boost put on their phones, I will be the one doing this, so that is why I am posting and not them.
I have unlocked and modded several phone before, did a google search on the i465 and only found pay sites, which is not what I want since I did pay one site 9.99 for the unlock code in the past and their code screwed up my phone.

I just requested and recieved an authorized unlock for my at&t iPhone 3G. When I put in a TMO SIM it just keeps searching and never finds a network. The phone the TMO SIM came from had a strong signal (also an unlocked att phone).
