I just bought this C3-01 touch and type phone and it got big issue of locking/unlocking key pad..phone gets locked and even if I click on key-lock button and then click unlock (on touch screen) then it never gets unlocked.
View 15 RepliesI lock my bb my pressing the top left keypad lock button but when I press it again to unlock it it won't unlock!! The only way to unlock is to take the battery out and put it back in! It only started doin this yesterday.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use A BlackBerry Curve 8900 I had to shut down my phone and when I tried to pwer it up the keypad lock was activated . I have tried to unlock it using the lock key and also the * key but both dont work. I have also tried doing a hard reboot ( removing the battery and then turning on the phone. This has not worked either. Is there anywya to bypass the keypad lock and also can the keypad lock be deactivated.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a huge problem with my N79, its only about 3 months above a year old. Its been acting up for the last 24 hours. When the phone's on, and i try using the keypad to either to type out a text or to move around the menu, the phone hangs / keypad doesnt work. I dont know whether its the phone hanging or the keypad problem because the screen goes dark, and i cant revive it, but its still on, and i have to restart the phone, but the same thing keeps happening. I tried hard reseting my phone, that didnt work either.

It's just not recoginzing properly the placement of fingers on the screen.
This makes it a rail pain to write a message on the keyboard. For example I try to hit one letter and 2 or 3 will activate at the same time.
An other example would be in the Facebook app it's almost impossible to hit a like button.
sometimes my X3-02 touch and type automatically restarts after a blink.

When i transfer mp3 files from my media library (on Mac) to MicroSD card (playlist directory), and try to run them using the default X3-02 Touch and Type media player, they don't work. I don't get any error, the media player just skips them. Almost all of them. Though, some of the music files (mp3) do work. I'm not sure what the problem is, and how to report this problem.

So I cannot write things, post or access mail, for example, because that requires you to actually type things. View 4 Replies View Relatedso i just downloaded berrybuzz trail from a ota because appworld doesnt work in my country and i downloaded the playboy irish animated theme and i did a reboot because it said some stuff might nto work untill it does so i did but now it wont let me unlock it :s i can c that the alt keyt and caps work cause when i clcik them it shows that symbole at the top right but i press the unlock bottom nothing try to type my pass nothing doesnt even say pop up the box that says emergency call unlock etc. i also just upgraded to the newest offical OS

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a 6300 and when I lock the keypad - pressing joystick then * It locks ok but if it remains locked for a while unlocking it takes a few attempts.It's as if the joystick button needs to be pressed a few times.It is on power saver and sleep mode and when I hit the joystick button there is a darkened screen and I can make out the instruction to hit * but hitting * doesn't unlock it.I then have to hit the joystick button a few times till a brightly lit up screen appears before I can hit * and unlock it.

I have a BB 8900 and just updated the OS to version 5. My "lock keypad" button on the top left of my device has been broken for a while so I've gotten used to locking the keyboard by holding down the * key and unlocking it by hitting * and Send. The problem is that now, when I hold down the * key the keyboard locks but hitting * and Send fails to unlock my device!

I can lock the keypad using the A button or the button on the top left of the phone, but the only way I can unlock the keypad is by restarting the phone. 2. Install application. I use the Blackberry Desktop Software to see what applications I have and the upgrade seems to have uninstalled most applications. But now it won't let me re-install them, which also means that I can't get any applications from App world.
