Just a day ago i received Handy 2710 navigation edition with Bluetooth Headset BH-103.
Handy can not find the headset!
1. Bluetooth ist switched to "on"
2. Handy set to "visible to evrybody"
3. Headset ist checked and working (functening with my notebook !)
4. Handy Bluetooth checked and working too (notebook found by it)
Still no connection between 2710 an Headset. Any Idear?
I am asking this because AMAZON.de website says Outlook-Synchronisation: Ja While Nokia website says nothing specific about it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a 2710 navigate edition and I can't put it to vibrate. My General and Silent modes are set to vibrate but they do not vibrate. Am I missing something here ? Also what's (what does it) for the option Menu>Settings>Phone>Sensor ? What does it do when is ON ?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI havent found any settings to adjust the brighness of the display in my new Nokia 2710. But the manual says that i should reduce the brightness if i wanted to save battery power. Did i miss something? I think its just not implemented! Thats very disappointing, since the dispaly is too bright to use it as a navigation device at night in the car.

When i connect to WLAN it's working, and its find me where i'm. But when i go outside and turn it. He can't find where i'm. But i can look all ower the map.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my Nokia 5230 Navigation Edition: when I launch OVI Maps application and choose desired route, I have only a message: "Waiting for GPS" - all the time, no matter where I am - in the big city, in the countryside, on the field - still no fix caught. I have latest OVI Maps version installed and all settings set to rely on built-in GPS module.Do You have any ideas how to make my 5230 NE to be really NE?

I'm looking at buying the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition Unlocked Phone and have a couple of questions.
If I don't activate the phone immediately with a service provider,
- will I still be able to have full access to the internet and email whenever a Wi-Fi network is available?
- and, will I also have full access to the GPS navigation facilities of the unit?
Does the 5800 Navigation model lack any features that are available with the 5800 XpressMusic model? The 'compare' function at the Nokia website seems to show the exact same specs for both models.
When will Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition be released in United Kingdom? I have been waiting for this phone to release in UK for so long and still no sign of its release in UK.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just taken delivery of my new Nokia 2710, which I bought to take advantage of the free worldwide maps that Nokia offers. It could be that I don't really understand the interface yet, but I have not found any way to plan a route from A to B via C. From A to B is pretty straightforward and works well, but all the clicking around hasn't enabled me to plan a detour. The only option seems to be to set the detour as destination and after arriving set the final destination. This is not really an option for me. The 'plan route' menu looks like the place to add a via point, but I haven't been able to change anything other than the starting point and the destination. I realize that the Maps software for S40 series phones would be somewhat limited compared to the S60 series/smartphones, but this strikes me as something that should be in there.

I cant connect to it i dont know why, i've done all of the settings and went out for perfect location to lock the signal and waited for 45 mins but it still showed WAITING FOR GPS. Is anyone suffering from this problem?

It just shows me waiting for gps for hours with all types of settings except bluetooth. The software version of my cell is 071.005 because it makes me feel bad when my roommate is enjoying gps with his C5-00 and i cannot even acquire a signal.

However when I go to Ovi maps on my phone it always says connection failed, if I try to go to my location I get the red dot flashing searching for position then will go solid for a short while and start to flash again, it gives my location about 1 mile from where I am. Also from the OVI maps screen if I try to sign into my Nokia accost,(To get A-GPS I think) I get the message saying this requires you to go online, 'yes' brings up the connection failed message. I can browse the internet and go to face book etc.

After using them for 3days (8 hour shifts) GPS started to fail - the GPS icon just disappears and GPS itself does not send any new data. Some of the phones recover after a full restart others don't.I have called Nokia support and according to them if the GPS icon is missing the phone is defect.We have already replaced 30 phones under warranty, but each day new ones are affected by this issue. I suspected there might be some energy saving feature (although most users have the car charger connected all the time) or other option which turns off the GPS, but again Nokia support says no. Does anybody know how to resolve this issue or are the phones just not built for 8hour GPS standby?

Before i was using E72 it was taking around 1-2 min to connect,, but with my new E6 it takes more than 15 to 20 minutes to connect! Is it normal to take this long time? If I launch Ovi Suite (v3.1.1.90) and go to Maps section, screen "Connecting to the map service..." is displayed, but after while: "Couldn't connect to the service - There seems to be a problem with connecting to the online map service. If the problem doesn't go away, please try again later.".
I'm connected over WiFi and all is working normally. I tried connection over USB cable and bluetooth as well, restart computer and phone, reinstall Ovi Suite, format memory card, reinstall device software, reset to factory settings, full reset to initial state (*#7370#) but it wasn't worked.

If I launch maps in my phone and go to Update, there is option "Add new maps", after select appropriate map and click on Download is progress bar "Installing, please wait!" displayed, but process ends with error message "Map download failed!".
What exactly is the max. size accepted by nokia 2710 Nav. edition?In the product site it tells me 16 GB :[URL]but in acccessories site it tells me: 32 GB [URL]
