Jul 22, 2010Just a day ago i received Handy 2710 navigation edition with Bluetooth Headset BH-103.
Handy can not find the headset!
1. Bluetooth ist switched to "on"
2. Handy set to "visible to evrybody"
3. Headset ist checked and working (functening with my notebook !)
4. Handy Bluetooth checked and working too (notebook found by it)
Still no connection between 2710 an Headset. Any Idear?

Jul 14, 2010I've just taken delivery of my new Nokia 2710, which I bought to take advantage of the free worldwide maps that Nokia offers. It could be that I don't really understand the interface yet, but I have not found any way to plan a route from A to B via C. From A to B is pretty straightforward and works well, but all the clicking around hasn't enabled me to plan a detour. The only option seems to be to set the detour as destination and after arriving set the final destination. This is not really an option for me. The 'plan route' menu looks like the place to add a via point, but I haven't been able to change anything other than the starting point and the destination. I realize that the Maps software for S40 series phones would be somewhat limited compared to the S60 series/smartphones, but this strikes me as something that should be in there.

Aug 10, 2012I have a few LMX files I would like to add as POIs to my E52. I haven't found any reference to POI on the phone, only "favorites". Is this just another word for the same thing? How do I transfer the actual LMX file from computer to phone? I have searched but not found any method applicable to my E52. First of all, I cannot find a "file manager" that will "install" the file on the phone. I can use Windows Explorer to transfer it to either phone memory or memory card, but in what folder do I put it?
How do I make the phone find it?In "favorites" there are two predefined "collections": Places and Routes. I can also add more collections if I wish. How do I get the LMX file into one of the collections? In "favorites", there is also an option "Synchronize with OVI" I tried it and apparently it was successful. But I have absolutely no clue what or where this "OVI" is located. I have looked both in the Nokia Suite and the OVI store where I am registered, but nowhere can I find any reference to "favorites". I have the latest OVI maps software and phone firmware installed.

Sep 23, 2011im finally have N8, and when i tried to export my contacts file witch is .vcf out of my old nokia 7610 to transfer it to my new N8, the PC Suite wouldn't work with N8, so i downloaded Ovi Suite and its worked fine with N8, but the big problem that when i tried to transfer the contacts files using Ove Suite i found that its must be ends with .nbu extension to be restored and while n8 doesnt work with pc suite, what can do to restore my contacts, help me cuz i feel dead without my contacts file |- i forgot to tell you that i can't copy it on my SIM card then copy it again to my N8 and repeat it till done, i have little problem with the option button with my old phone Nokia 7610

Nov 4, 2011I am trying to import a LMX file with 200 waypoints of a walk in Scotland which I wish to do.
Ignoring the fact that this may not result in a useful waypoint file, I have so far created the file in both GPX and KML formats and converted each to LMX format using GPSBabel and then stored the LMX file on the 5800.
Once saved on my 5800, I am able to load the LMX file and end up with 200 discrete POI's in my Favourites (which is not really what I want!) but more worringly, the points when viewed on OVI maps are placed in the Indian Ocean no matter which format I convert from.
If I can find out why the co-ords are duff and get a good output file I will then see if I can create the waypoint file I actually need,

Oct 19, 2011I have a C5-00 5MP and I downloaded maps for walking ("with street names"). But Ovi Maps seems unable to get aware of it : the menu allowing to select the walking guidance voice in settings remains empty. The voices for driving guidance are displayed OK though.

Mar 7, 2015After emailing the voice recorder (m4a) file to my desktop, in iTunes I click on "add file to library" and choose the file. Nothing happens, and the file does not show up in iTunes.
I need to do this in order to get these files onto my iPod.
My desktop uses Windows 7. I have iTunes 11.1.3.8.
The Internet says that m4a files can be imported into iTunes. What am I missing?

Aug 2, 2011Our company has recently bought 220pcs of nokia 2710 (brand new). After using them for 3days (8 hour shifts) GPS started to fail - the GPS icon just disappears and GPS itself does not send any new data. Some of the phones recover after a full restart others don't.I have called Nokia support and according to them if the GPS icon is missing the phone is defect.We have already replaced 30 phones under warranty, but each day new ones are affected by this issue. I suspected there might be some energy saving feature (although most users have the car charger connected all the time) or other option which turns off the GPS, but again Nokia support says no. Does anybody know how to resolve this issue or are the phones just not built for 8hour GPS standby?

May 31, 2010I havent found any settings to adjust the brighness of the display in my new Nokia 2710. But the manual says that i should reduce the brightness if i wanted to save battery power. Did i miss something? I think its just not implemented! Thats very disappointing, since the dispaly is too bright to use it as a navigation device at night in the car.
