It seems to be syncing outlook contacts just fine, but when i try to load "copy from file" (his contact list) and "append" it looks like its pushing, but its not appending the iden studd does not show up.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently tried to edit one of my phonebook contacts and the phone wouldn't let me do it. Every time I went to "edit" nothing would happen. Not the biggest problem ever, however, now my phone won't let me add new contacts. When I go to "add to contacts" nothing happens, and occasionally my phone will freeze and I have to turn it off. I have tried taking the battery out and letting the phone reboot but still nothing.

If I try to copy them to my phonebook, nothing happens and the contacts doesn't appear on my contactlist. It also seem as if it is all the most used contacts that are missing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if anyone else experiences this problem/has a solution? My BB Storm2 will sync via Bluetooth with my 2010 Audi Q5, but it has 3 problems:
1. The Contact's Name, City, State, Zip transfer, but not the address line. Makes navigation to a contact not possible.
2. No categories come across - the Audi only shows "Personal" and "Business"
3. Company names do not show up in the directory list - all contacts labeled as companies are blank lines in the Audi and the precede people names, so I have several screens of just a phone icon before I get a person's name.
Granted, I have 17 categories, 558 contacts. I sync with a Mac (OS X 10.6.2), but don't understand how/if that should make any kind of difference.
Can someone please tell me how to to transfer the contacts or even everything I have on my LG chocolate spin phone using BitPim?Do I use the "filesystem" and if so what file is it under? My screen cracked and i'd like to at least copy my contacts to a word document or transfer them to my new phone (blackberry Bold 9700).Do i have to sync the phone itself in it's options? Since my screen is cracked i obviously can't see which menu to go in again to do so - I hope syncing this way isn't needed as BitPim already recognizes my phone.

Torch 9800 - Having problem with some of the phone contact duplicate by itself, not only 1 or couples, some contacts duplicate for more than hundreds even I'm not sync my phone. After I deleted the contacts, have only 1 left for the specific name, days after it will duplicate again.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that every time I reboot my phone once its back on all my contacts that I have loaded in my phone book since I received my blackberry (not the original phone numbers on my sim) are gone. I lose them every time. Why does that happen? All my contacts are actually missing but I can still save my sim contacts back onto my face but seriously this is annoying and not why I got this phone so I can spend 30 min getting my numbers visible again and also losing all new. I have to now save them on paper.

I did remove my facebook account briefly from my phone, as I'm experiencing trouble using fb on my phone.

My 8350i is serviced by SouthernLinc and I was told Tether doesn't work with iDEN phones? What's up with that? I'm going to see if it will work, if not, oh well. Any helpful info would be great!

When I'm entering Names from menu, english ones are ok, but russian contacts displays as only first 5 symbols and then "...". When I enter contact - it displays everything normal.

I recently got my photon 4g, and when I went to pair it with my car, I noticed I'm unable to access the phonebook from the car.With my Evo 4g I was able to view call lists and the phone book itself with no problem.When I paired the photon, it successfully paired, then the photon prompted me that the vehicle was requesting access to the phone book access profile. I clicked "always allow" (or always accept, I can't recall at this moment) and let it be.
But anytime I went into the phone via the radio, there are no phone book entries, just the option to enter numbers manually.it's a 2012 chevy with Onstar, so I'm using the bluetooth functions of that radio. Calls still work, but since it isn't reading the phone book, it just gives me a number when someone calls, as opposed to the name. For the time being I'm back to using my evo, since I can't recall everyones phone number off the top of my head. I'd love to figure out whats wrong, since I adore the photon, but need the names (so I don't answer the wrong calls lol)
I tried deleting & re-pairing, I've tried copying my contacts to the SIM in case thats where it was trying to read from, all to no avail, then doing the pair process again, still no luck.
I went out and got a Motorola Brute the other day and was planning to take my Google contacts (which I can export in a CSV file) and simply import them into the phone... Unfortunately, it doesn't seem possible. Here's what I have tried:
* Online services - There don't seem to be any OTA contact management or backup apps for this phone available, even from Sprint.
* Motorola's own iDEN Phonebook Manager - The software is a joke. It formats its contact file in an Access 97 database, too old to edit with newer Access versions and has no facility to import phone numbers from anything else.
* DataPilot - Doesn't work right with Windows 7 - Can't update it and can't get it to import addresses from Outlook. Trying to reinstall XP now for another attempt but don't presently have time.
* SIM card editors - Tried various sim card editors, but they can't edit the NEXTEL phonebook on the SIM card, only the GSM phonebook which isn't recognized by the phone.
So, please everyone let's put our heads together and find a way to do this without using the T9 system!
My car loads my phonebook and it works for a day or so and then all ddisappears.What might be causing it to not hold the info?
