I HATE choosing every e-mail one by one to delete. Is there an easier way to delete ALL in Gmail at once? I can do this in Hotmail but not Gmail. I think this is why I rarely use Gmail.Can't delete easy.

View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing inbox. I started using this app a few weeks ago. I delete an email, it goes to the trash. How do you empty the trash? If i long press on the email it comes up with a trash can. Don't press that because it just moves it back to the inbox. Not sure how this works.

View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter cleaning up my download folder I notice that when I try to tap a email on the gmail widget the screen turns dark and just sits there. It will no longer open gmail and let me read the mail but if I open gmail using the app it works fine. I have also notice this with some of the downloads within the email app but not through the gallery.

I just got my xoom wi-fi and so far I'm in a deep learning curve. My first Droid product.My app for mail is Google Gmail. I assumed that I had everything set up to receive my mail because I have been using gmail as my mail handler on my windows laptop, then being sent to M/S Outlook. The mail is coming through on the xoom but I'm not receiving any pics, just a ? where a pic shud be.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem deleting all my trashed emails. Since I've gotten the S5 I've been getting rid of emails quickly. They also reside on my PC's Outlook so I decided not to have 875 emails cluttering up the S5. I use the combined view for my 2 non-Gmail accounts. All was working well until recently when there appeared to be 52 emails that remain even after I select all. 42 are from one account and the other 10 from the other account. I've tried deleting the trash from each account separately but the 52 keep reappearing when I "Show all folders" in the combined view (and the 42 from one and 10 from the other when I look at each account).
How can I delete this peskly "deck-of-cards" (52) emails? I guess the most drastic would be to delete the two accounts and start all over, but I'm curious to know how it might have happened in the first place.
Here's a picture of the situation. The only difference in the 3rd image is that after I delete, what shows as remaining in the trash is 52.
When using the gmail on the Xoom, I can find my groups, however I am unable to select a whole group to send an email to, it appears I have to do individual names which to me defeats the purpose of a group?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded my Nokia N73 to the E72 and am very very disappointed with the picture quality of the camera.
It does not appear to be the same quality as the Carl Zeiss lens of my old N73 and many pictures seem to be out of focus. It has annoying habit of when i try to take a quick snap of continually asking me to chose a shooting mode and the therefore the moment has gone. I also use this camera function for my work and unless I can find advice on taking better quality pics then it will have to go back.Is mine a faulty unit or is there a knack of taking a picture without the camera moving which I think is causing part of the problems.
I started getting "unfortunately, Gmail has stopped" yesterday on my wfi Xoom with 4.1.1, also the play store will not open. I have cleared cache rebooted deleted two gmail accounts disabled sync etc. How do I fix this. I have thought about doing a android rest but others have done this without any luck.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading to ICS, I've routinely encountered an error when exiting from the Gmail application. It happens often enough that it is pretty reproducible, and I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this:
1) Open the Gmail app
2) Do some stuff
3) Tap the "home" button in the bottom left corner of the screen
4) Gmail will exit, I'm returned to the home screen, and an error dialog pops up that says "Unfortunately, Gmail has stopped", with two buttons for "Report" and "Ok".
Other details:
--It seems to happen whether I start Gmail from its widget or from the Gmail icon
--Shortly after upgrading to ICS I did a factory reset in order to do a clean install of ICS. This problem existed after the initial upgrade to ICS as well as after the clean install
i am looking for a email app that is way better then the default one..i would like multiple syncs with my many emails and easy delete folders buttons instead of the default one by one delete.
View 5 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if there is a way to sync contacts from FB to the phone the old way where you could choose to only sync those people that were already in your contacts list rather than sync every one of the 600 FB friends someone might have? My husband has groups on FB so he accepts a lot of people that have a certain car but groups them together. However he doesn't want to scroll through them all to make a phone call and doesn't like the idea of having to delete thm from his FB either. Nor does he like not having pictures for his contacts.
