I failed to find a way to send a plain text email from Xoom Gmail app. Does any know if it is possible at all? Some mainling lists are not accepting HTML emails and it is very inconvenient.
View 4 RepliesAs I say, is there a setting on the Nokia E72 where i can set my emails to be read by plain text instead of html? My company has several E72 Nokias & NONE can view emails due to a html bug in the Nokia E72.If I can change my emails to be viewed in html that might be better. I also get a sync error after emails have downloaded & all i can see if the subject of the email. All other phones on our network that are not Nokia have no problems viewing emails.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to set up my email on my new Admiral and I've run into a bit of a snag. I'm able to receive emails just fine, but it appears I'm having no such luck trying to send even a test message. Given I have no problems doing so in Outlook, Thunderbird, and on my old Blackberry, I have to believe there is something android related that's giving me complications. I'm using the standard android email application (No Hotmail/Yahoo/Gmail) for an IMAP email account (No Enterprise/Corporate Sync/etc.).
I have entered the server info, port info, username info identical to what appears on my outlook/thunderbird server settings to no avail. If I was given some sort of error message when the email is not sent I would post it, but the only thing that happens is I get a notification on the top bar saying "Email not sent". If I try to access the message to get insight on an error, I am simply redirected to the email message in the outbox with no explanation.

Numbers in my contact list, however, have *82 programed in front of the number so friends, etc. will know it is me calling. This works fine when I call a contact, but, when I try to text the same number, I get the error "The message must contain valid recipients and content" and am unable to send the text. If I manually enter the same number without the *82, I can send the text, but, nobody knows who it is from, because, my umber will not be revealed. View 5 Replies View RelatedSince I got the Motorola Droid Turbo I have not been able to send out mass text. my last droid phone I could click on people which then opened my contact list, there was boxes next to each contact for me to check multiple people. On the Droid Turbo, when I need to send out a text with multiple people there is no way I see to get to my contacts and click on multiple people. I send out a mass text every week and need to get this quirk fixed. I have also tried a few texting apps. but when I send out the mass text a message box pops up that says "SMS is sending a large amount of... do you want to allow? I click allow, but the box will continue to pop up over and over, but does not actually send out all of the texts. I only send 20 text at a time, so I'm not sure why it is not working as far as the texting app goes. Mostly I would like to be able to use the regular texting app that comes with the phone again.

While entering my password, it was in plain text vs. the asteriks. I'm now at my last attempt and was prompted that I will lose everything on my phone if I have another failed attempt. Why when I try to send a text to canada while vacationing in Greece, do I always get a message send failure message, but I can still receive messages from Canada.

Is there a fix for this problem? If I read my messages first on my Blackberry and then later open Outlook - the message is coverted to plain text in Outlook.This is annoying when I usually reply to the messages from Outlook and want them to be in HTML format.
View 7 Replies View Related1. I got some serious problem here, I am using my home connection through wifi and my N900 is able to receive email from gmail but unable to send out. I checked the configuration through gmail website and it is correct for sure!
2. I tried to share photo using the share via facebook plugin or pixelpipe plugin, I get transfer error! I've no idea why. But I could use my wifi to validate facebook and pixelpipe account without any problem.
What I suspect is the outgoing connection issue. In fact I am using my laptop on the same wifi connection without any issue at all. What can I do on my N900 to fix this problem?I can use 3G to send out email and upload pictures to facebook but I can't do it via wifi!

It will no longer open gmail and let me read the mail but if I open gmail using the app it works fine. I have also notice this with some of the downloads within the email app but not through the gallery.

i took the phone to apple store and all they did was to delete the email account and added it again but the problem is still there, so they said that i should contact my email provider (hotmail) which is microsoft. i am able to send emails using my MAC and other computers so contacting hotmail will not sort this issue.Â
