I have multiple gmail accounts set up on my Xoom. Everything is good except the Market. Sometimes my Market app will switch accounts and act like I only have 5 installed apps (probably just the preinstalled apps). It's easy enough to switch back to the right account.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got the Z2 after struggling for a while with an ageing and annoying phone, and in general I'm pretty happy with it.
But I have a problem with gmail notifications, and it's hard to find info on this on the web because it just turns up a lot of stuff about the notification sounds, which is not my issue.
I have three gmail accounts, two private and one for work. With all my previous phones, when I had mail incoming, I'd get one notification icon in the status bar per account. So if I had unread mail in all three accounts, I'd three gmail icons in the notification bar.
The Z2 seems to lump them all together, and I only get one single icon regardless of how many accounts have unread email. I find this quite annoying and not something I expected at ALL. (Even my first very crummy internet-capable phone did multiple notifications.) Is this a bug, or is there a way to change a setting?
I found my xoom honeycomb market is different than my smartphone motorola milestone (froyo)for exam:on milestone market I cant found app Skype, but on Xoom I can found app Skype on xoom I cant found Yahoo messenger, on milestone I can found Yahoo messenger why or because I live in Indonesia so different market?

I recieved my 9650 this morning.I setup 2 email addresses (that actually were moved from my curve to my bold), and all of my emails are dumping into ONE folder i hate it. I selected an app and click install, I saw a notification popped up at the lower right corner showing "Installing" but after a short while,
it showed "Appname installation unsuccessful"
I tried restart my Xoom and clear the market cache but still no luck. Anyone has encountered this problem before and How do you solve it?
Just want to know if anyone else is having this problem or is just on my Xoom. I can access Market but when I try to access My Apps I regularly get a FC. What it says is (process.com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly.
I have tried the Vol-Up-On start and cleared the Market cache with the same result. Would uninstalling an reinstalling Market be the next step.
I have a brand new Xoom with Android 3.2, but the version of Android Market is only 1.0.28. It does not 'automatically update. I would like to update it so I can add a pin to stop my kids from purchasing things! Which is apparently available in the latest version (3 or so).

View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter installing app updates yesterday and today, I noticed app did not clear update section at the top of installed apps. It happened while updating Dungeon Defenders yesterday. It finally cleared to installed after reinstalling Dungeon Defenders three times. Could not uninstall Dungeon Defenders while trying to clear the app from the update list. Just kept reinstalling. Finally stopped showing on update list. App started normally and ran afterwards. Same thing with Angry Birds this morning. Still not off Update app list.

While Honeycomb has not been fully adapted to the Atom, Intel demoed an Atom driven Android tablet in Bejing this week.Here is some of the article's key content:"So, with tablets based on chips from companies like Nvidia (Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab) and Texas Instruments (PlayBook) not likely flying off the shelf, are Intel's chances any better now? "The door to this market is open. The longer it takes for these other products to get rolling, the more opportunity there is for Intel," said Richard Shim, an analyst at DisplaySearch.
And others see an opening for the world's largest chipmaker. "Though Apple has set the bar, it's not going to be alone in this space. Right now it looks like Android will have the majority of tablet sales(outside of Apple), and Intel has a dedicated team of people to make Android work the best it can on its Atom chips. They have a lot of resources they can apply," said Jack Gold of consulting firm J.Gold Associates, who wrote about this yesterday.And Intel, despite its unimpressive start, has another advantage.
