Pleas log into your Google account."with an "ok" button.I've tried everything I can think of:restarted the XOOMTried using both wi-fi and 3G connectionsused the browser to verify my Google account appears on the search headerOpened the Gmail app and done a refreshForce-stopped the Market appcleared it's dataensured I can still access the markt using my Droid 1.tried accessing both from my home screen shortcut and from the Apps pageThe version showing in the Manage Applications page is 1.0.27Oh, while I can't go into the market from it's application icon. I did notice that several applications updated in the background, and from the "Updates Available" notification, I was able to go to the "My Apps" part of the Market app.

Dec 22, 2011I got a Xoom 2 ME a couple of days ago, and experienced flickering of the icons in the Market and the system hung a few times. I had to do a hard reset to get the tablet to respond to anything other than the off button.
Thinking this was a hardware fault, I returned the ME and got a 10.1 Xoom 2 instead (the ME was just a little too small for my eyes when viewing the Times newspaper).
Now I'm seeing exactly the same behaviour, so it looks like there it's a software issue...

May 2, 2011My non-US Xoom suddenly won't let me install anything from Android Market.
I selected an app and click install, I saw a notification popped up at the lower right corner showing "Installing" but after a short while,
it showed "Appname installation unsuccessful"
I tried restart my Xoom and clear the market cache but still no luck. Anyone has encountered this problem before and How do you solve it?

Oct 4, 2011Just want to know if anyone else is having this problem or is just on my Xoom. I can access Market but when I try to access My Apps I regularly get a FC. What it says is (process.com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly.
I have tried the Vol-Up-On start and cleared the Market cache with the same result. Would uninstalling an reinstalling Market be the next step.

Oct 21, 2011After installing app updates yesterday and today, I noticed app did not clear update section at the top of installed apps. It happened while updating Dungeon Defenders yesterday. It finally cleared to installed after reinstalling Dungeon Defenders three times. Could not uninstall Dungeon Defenders while trying to clear the app from the update list. Just kept reinstalling. Finally stopped showing on update list. App started normally and ran afterwards. Same thing with Angry Birds this morning. Still not off Update app list.

Apr 16, 2011With recent changes in the market for Android tablets, it appears there is speculation that Intel may be positioning tablets based on the Atom processor. While Honeycomb has not been fully adapted to the Atom, Intel demoed an Atom driven Android tablet in Bejing this week.Here is some of the article's key content:"So, with tablets based on chips from companies like Nvidia (Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab) and Texas Instruments (PlayBook) not likely flying off the shelf, are Intel's chances any better now? "The door to this market is open. The longer it takes for these other products to get rolling, the more opportunity there is for Intel," said Richard Shim, an analyst at DisplaySearch.
And others see an opening for the world's largest chipmaker. "Though Apple has set the bar, it's not going to be alone in this space. Right now it looks like Android will have the majority of tablet sales(outside of Apple), and Intel has a dedicated team of people to make Android work the best it can on its Atom chips. They have a lot of resources they can apply," said Jack Gold of consulting firm J.Gold Associates, who wrote about this yesterday.And Intel, despite its unimpressive start, has another advantage. Atom is not just another cookie-cutter design from U.K.-based ARM. Intel can bring to bear all of its manufacturing, security, and media processing know-how, according to Gold, who believes it will continue to whittle away successfully at the inherent power-efficiency advantage of ARM chips. "My take is that Intel can capture 20 to 25 percent of that remaining market outside of Apple."
Shim has a few words of caution, however. "It all depends, of course,how well Honeycomb (Android 3.0) runs on Atom," said Shim. "That's a big if." Dec 20, 2011The apps, always starting with the Market App, displays error message to force close within 10 minutes of turning it on. I only had a few apps installed (from the Android Market Place) which I have uninstalled, but it's still doing it. The longer you leave the Xoom on, the more apps it "needs" to force close. And, it won't save updates or some apps after a restart so I have to download everything again. Kind of a pain with Angry Birds .
Will I need to do the dreaded memory wipe and lose everything?

May 19, 2011I had a Motorola CLIQ for about a year already and after all the trouble i had with it...i dealt with it. Then last week my phone was totally messed up with the ghost screen problem (screen moves by itself). SO i called T-Mobile and like always the only thing to do is to reboot which i already did once when my phone was stuck on the moto blur screen. I asked for new one with my warranty. 5 days later (today) i get a new CLIQ. Started it up...waiting...Moto Blur sign in screen comes up...sign in...waiting...google sign in screen comes up...sign in...waiting...DONE! NOW I CAN FINALLY TEXT! i guessed wrong. The normal screen comes up with the green leaves with the old vesion of Android 1.5 (Cupcake) and then all of the sudden the screen turns black. The notification window (on the top) shows but under that its just black. 1 second later it shows the wallpaper...and then another second later it shows the black screen and has been doing that for 4 hours already. I pulled out the battery turned it off, charged it but nothing works and I DO NOT WANT TO WAIT ANOTHER 5 DAYS TO GET A NEW PHONE THATS ALREADY BROKEN IN THE FIRST PLACE. Is anyone having or had the same problem because i cant get anywhere through my phone. I also put a video since i dont see this problem anywhere in the forums.
