Nokia :: N97 Ovimap Installation Stops Because Of Lack Of Memory
Jun 22, 2010I am having a memory problem with my N97,When trying to upload the new version of Ovimap, the installation stops because of lack of memory, it asks that I delete some and start again.Have been into file manager and had a look to see I could delete, already deleted most of my apps and messages like it says on other answers.

Jul 28, 2012Since installing a new Netgear 7550 modem/router from AT&T, I have been having trouble with the WiFi on my Verizon Razr. I can connect to the network and browse just fine for a while, but eventually the WiFi indicator changes from blue to grey and no apps will load data. This includes not being able to load webpages. I also notice that once the icon goes grey, only the upward pointing triangle within the WiFi indicator comes on. Of course restarting the phone or rebooting the router restores the connection for a time, but eventually it drops again. Once the icon turns grey I get the following from the settings menu:
Status
Connected
Signal strength
Excellent
Link speed
72Mbps
Secruity
WPA/WPA2 PSK
IP address
192.168.1.xxx (the last three numbers never seem to change)
Motorola Droid Razr :: SD Class & Transfer Rates?
Jan 27, 2012I read on a forum that the Razr's transfer rates are such that there's no point in buying a SD card higher than a class 4. That the Razr is not able to tranfer data higher than a class 4. I find that hard to believe, given that the SD Association recommends class 10 for "Full HD video recording, HD still picture consecutive shooting"
Does anyone know if the Razr's able to utilize class 10 memory cards or if there is a lower spec that is the max it can utilize?

My OS is Windows XP SP3.I have installed the latest version 2.3.4 of the"Motorola Device Manager" software.The install goes fine. There are no "Plug phone in now" kind of prompts, but the installer says the program is installed and will launch whenever I plug in the phone.So when I unlock and plug in the phone, the MDM icon shows up in the system tray, and the Windows "Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard" comes up. Hmmm...did the software installer install the drivers or not?If I click Next, the message "The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software."So I go back and change the selection to "install from a list or specific location", then specify to look in C:WINDOWSsystem32 (which usually works for most things)

Aug 19, 2012Just goofing around, I figured out that there may be a workaround to the lack of a charge-only mode, at least on Windows systems. Connect the phone, and it will show up as a mass-storage device in Windows Explorer and start charging the phone. Now, click the tray icon to "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media." That disconnects the mass storage device, yet leaves the charger working.

Jan 17, 2012I just set up MotoCast, and it's pretty awesome (I had no idea, because I have been using doubletwist this whole time). I do have two questions about downloading music to the phone via MotoCast.1.) Is there a way to designate downloads to go to the External SD card instead of internal memory? It seems like it will only go to internal memory until you max it out and it gives you the option to move things to the external card. This seems like a silly step, couldn't it just go directly to the external card?2.) My music displays in playlists when streaming from my computer, but when I select download a playlist and disconnect from the computer (in a no-data environement) the playlist disappears and all of my music is just dumped into the app unoragnized. Is there a way to maintain the playlist after data is dropped and you can't access your computer?
