Motorola Defy :: How To Unlock Without Blur Account
Nov 12, 2011today i got crazy because of my Moto. I have Motorola Defy CEE edition - without BLUR account.Today i borrowed Defy to my friend who tried to unlock the phone.After few unsuccessful attempts i got following message:"Too many unlock attempts!" and i'm able to unlock it only with signing in with a Blur account. As Blur is not supportedf in my region (slovakia, central europe) i had never created the account. How can i unlock the phone? Is there any possibility?I'm really furious about this situation, how can motorola create such crapy unlocking procedure? Unlock the phone with blur in region where blur is not supported....

Jun 28, 2011So i've been at this for two days now and i even went to my local t-mobile store.I've updated my phone via my computer since the wifi broke some time ago. Great, but I still wanted to update my phone.The wifi isn't place specific either. i've tried over 10+ locations with wifi (various friends houses, etc.). The message i get is unable to start wifi. what gives?But, after the update, i need to log into motoblur for my phone to be of any use to me at all. Guess what, the wifi doesn't work and I don't have a data plan.So do i have to pay for a data plan just to get this expensive phone to start working again? don't tell me yes because i know this is a solution. however, i don't have the money for a data plan otherwise i would have one already. and no, i don't have the money to even subscribe to one month just so i can "activate" my phone when i've already paid for all those fees.
I've tried doing a hard reset by holding the camera button and power button while the phone was off, then pressing down on the volume key followed by alt L/W. After the reset, the wifi doesn't work. not that i expected it to.I've checked my warranty. it's up. I find it a little peeving that it happen to run out near the same time the wifi broke.any fixes? Because i don't like to spend $400+ on my paper weights when i can go outside and find a rock.
Motorola Cliq XT :: Why Won't BLUR Work
Jul 3, 2011I had an issue sometime after the XT came out and called Moto and they wanted me to reset my phone and a few days later the issue was fixed well a few days ago BLUR said that my Myspace account was invalid.I kept ignoring it but accidently removed it instead of pressing back and I've been readding it but it keeps saying my accout is INVALID or some crap! Which is odd because I can login to Myspace through the app preinstalled on the phone but why won't BLUR work.. should I wait a few days and try again?

Motorola Motoactv :: GPS Not Locking On Since Blur Update
Dec 10, 2011I am having issues with the GPS since I installed the new blur update. No matter what dorking pose I use (left my arm raised above and away from my body in the middle of a football field) the GPS doesnt lock on. I sync my device right before a run as stated on here somewhere and still do not get any results. This will be the third time I have tried to lock on in 3 days with no luck.

Oct 31, 2011I never have found a clear indication of the safety of using MotoBlur from a open public Wifi Hotspot.
That's an issue I stumble upon everytime I want to use a standalone application like Hotmail on my handset. I presume that the communication from my handset to Motorola servers are encrypted, but I have no documentation about it.
I wonder if my mail account is directed in a similar manner, from my handset to Motorola server when I send a SMTP message from an account registered within Blur.
How does it work. I would like to know. Is there any white paper from Motorola somewhere available to the consumer.
Motorola Defy :: Without Blur: Lose Internet Connectivity?
Jul 5, 2011unboxed & started the Android 2.1 Defy I got the internet working instantly on GPRS/EDGE using SIM from earlier phone BUT after I downloaded a 3rd party app from Android Market called RTI India the internet just vanished .. I mean .. I don't even see or get the up-down motion arrow mark next to the signal strength on my handset anymore. Phoof ... gone with the wind .. no sign of even showing up a bit despite managing the settings (Wireless & networks + Data Manager) n no. of times. The settings are all good to go for internet connectivity.I then got an advice from Moto India that I needed to uninstall & restart the device in order to get the internet working again but sadly this didn't work. Have requested Vodafone (service provider) to come up with a solution although my gut feeling told me to try out an all-weather antidote from Motorola i.e., "factory hard reset" .. so I called Motorola India again and got exactly this advice.
Has anybody faced this problem .. if so, then has this reset worked to regain internet connectivity OR is there something else altogether ? My phone is still on Android 2.1 since FroYo upgrade is still being tested. Lemme also know if I need to remove the SIM card before doing the factory hard reset? Just wanna be sure before I go ahead with the reset
Motorola Xoom :: Video Frame Rate Blur And Fps Drop
Mar 13, 2012the xoom is meant to be capable of doing 720p at 30fps. This is so not the case. If you look at the playback the recording looses frames and gitters badly. I would say it is more around 15-20fps on average. also the video doesnt seem sharp at all as if the auto focus doesnt work well or is off. but the still camera focuses fine. Will motorola be addressing this issue in the ics update or are they intending on fixing this issue at all. If the camera is truely capable of this frame rate where is the bottle neck? transferring to flash memeory? can motorola make an auto focus slide control on screen selecting in options to turn on and off from manual to auto fofus. this would be good in camera mode. as you can see from the video frame rate drop and video blur. not 30fps..

Jul 13, 2011while looking at my friend's droix x i noticed on his "add account" page he had an option for flickr and i do not. now we both have the exact same system version, kernel version, etc - all were the same but the prl was a different version. he also had a Internet account option that i also do not have - but i am not worried about that since i can log into Internet via the Internet app.
so how do i get the flickr on my 'add account' page? do you have it or not? i would really like to have it since there is no legit flickr app and i am not trying to download some random app for it.
Nokia :: E72 - Purple Blur On Screen
Feb 4, 2010I just recently, about 4 days ago received an E72 in the mail from Nokia's website. I have been using it, and love it so far. The only think is I took my phone out of my pocket today and realized there was a purple blur on the screen. I restarted the phone and it was slightly better. I waited a few minutes and it was gone. Now I am wondering if I should send my phone in to nokia, just to see if the screen is okay and to make sure it doesn't get worse. Let me know what you guys think I should do.Thanks

Apr 11, 2013After changing from sony xperia M5 to sony xperia Z5 i can see big difference in photo especially in indoor and low light photo. Xperia z5 photo are very noisy and no detail when zooming , my old z3 better than z5 and new high midrange m5 better also.
How can beat other new flagahip phone like s6 and note 5 and lg g4 in less detail and noisy pictures.
Also we have a big problem in sony at 20-23 mp in manual mode . No iso settings and no scene can be changed. Sony now have to advertise to sell z5 but the surprise in this camera and bad software.
No iso in 23 mp and 20mp it is a big problem now. We don't need sceen changing in high mp but iso in manual is very necessary.

Nov 2, 2014My friend is having a problem with his Lumia 1020 when taking low light outdoor pictures with flash on.
He says that everything is fine during the day and when he is taking indoor low light pictures with the flash, but as soon as he take outdoor picture he is getting some kind of red blur in the top center of the photo, he sent me two examples:
