My Social Networking widget hasn't pulled any updates since January 29th. I've deleted the widget and reinstalled, changed all settings, even logged into FB and changed/updated the App settings there. Is there a MOTOBLUR outage? I'm also wondering if there is an incompatablity with Timeline, as ever since I can't see comments or likes on my status via my Social Status widget.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought an Electrify, and i have been unable to add any accounts to the social networking widget. I go to add an account to it, and i select facebook, and i enter my email and pass, and then it loads for a little bit, then i come to another screen where my password is already entered, but the email box is greyed out, and it wont let me go any further until i enter an email, but since the box is greyed out i cant do anything.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the Social network widget on one of my home pages (post 2.3.4 upgrade). At first, it worked fine, but as of this morning, it force closes evertime I open it and attempt to scroll the messages. The "Messages" Widget continues to work fine.
I've tried removing and re-installing accounts, removing and re-installing the widget, and changing widget settings. I even tried to go to Settings>applications>manage applications to try and clear the data and cache, but thos buttone are not enables for the Social networing app.
I Just received a brand new Atrix 2 today and everything has been lovely so far, but the social networking app refuses to cooporate or get off the ground at all. I will open up the app to see this after I have entered all my account info:
after clicking on the only available button (add a social network) and clicking on any given social networking icon that I have already entered info for, I get this:
Finally, If I try to edit my account info the account menu, I see the following two fields, which I cannot edit, which is followed by this message after hitting ok:
I have re-entered the information several times, restarted the device several times, and all my data delivery options have been clicked or unclicked during several trials. The apps accompanying widgets only option is to "add a social network" not unlike the first screencap.
couple of weeks ago i started having issues with the social networking (and perhaps messaging) widgets. I see there is a new message on the widget and when I click it all the panels are Loading with blank info, when I go back and it says there are no recent unseen updates and I click on it and see all updates I can see all of them however any pictures will not load as well.everything is else is working good. I tried factory reset and few other suggestions from around this forum with no luck. the only thing I didn't try yet is a new blur account.

I delete the password, reenter it, it says: Updating Facebook service. The progress bar loads halfway and then says Internal server error occurred. Please try again. I then removed the account and readded it. I rentered my email address and password. The progress bar loads 1/3 of the way and it says: Adding your Facebook account. After that, it says Internal server error occurred. Please try again. I've tried turning the phone of and then turning it back on. I've also taken the battery out and done it that way. Still same result.

Rebooting the phone will get everything to update. But then a few hours later it will stop and I'll have to reboot the phone again.I understand that rebooting the phone every so often is a good thing to do. But, I don't want to reboot it several times a day just to update this app.

Most of the time it works as expected - items show up until I view them once, then no longer. Too often though I have to scroll through a bunch of updates multiple times

It doesn't changed anything else into french though, and as far as I can tell doesn't cause any other issues, it's mostly just annoying. I have already tried rebooting the phone and nothing changed.

Currently there lots of tears in internets about SN-Widget and how bad/random its synching with Facebook, there also some workarounds but i would love to get an answer from any Officials.My workaround: was uninstalling the update for Social Networks app and after reboot its synched my FB stuff perfectly, but when Blur-updater(see task-manager) installed it again the widget stopped synching anything from FB.Its works also random with Twitter - actualy its shows you your status update but not the tweets you fallow.

Eight widget id values each time, looks like about nine times an hour, 24/7. Is there a way to stop this waste? Or at least keep it from pushing useful stuff out of the log buffers?
Myspace account stopped sync and updating in the happenings. so like twitter, I deleted my account and re-added, but now I cant re-add my space account at all! It keeps giving me the message "Your entry is invalid, please try again."I keep trying it everyday but no use. It also disappeared from the status bar (where i post my happening status to social networks). Why can't I re-add my myspace account? it worked before resetting the phone. everything works fine and all other social networks like twitter, orkut and facebook work fine ,but not mypace. I tried logging in to myspace from a PC and my login worked fine. I even created a new motoblur account but no use.

I've uninstalled the market update and still no luck. I have done so many factory resets that I don't know what do to do any longer? I was still able to use Twitter's official mobile app & Facebook's official mobile app. By 5pm last night (Monday/Halloween) NONE of the social network apps were working. This included Tweetdeck, Twitter official, Facebook official, Hoot Suite, Google+, AND even when I accessed Twitter's normal site via browser. I've turned the phone on & off several times and that hasn't done anything.

Why is it so big now? It takes up nearly half a home screen. I'm using facebook summary now but I have to click on it rather than just glancing at what's going on with the narrow widget info of my friends updates.If you're happy with the narrow social widget for that reason then don't update, also if you're not into this fat Belle widget thing Nokia seems to have going.There's a difference between giving us the option to have more home screens to actually forcing us to use them. I pressed ok but it then told me I had too many things open and to go close some. I went and closed some but when I got back to the page it said it had aborted the update. I then went back to my homescreen and the widget had disappeared!
View 10 Replies View RelatedAround end of Dec 2011, Picasa sync in MotoBlur stopped working on my ATRIX (System Ver.45.0.25.ME860.Retail.en.05).
I tried remove and add my Picasa account again. When I go to Gallery and refresh, a message came up and said "This action cannot be completed."
Last night both my Twitter & Myspace accounts that are linked to my Motoblur account stopped working. I would constantly get an account error icon in my notification bar. I changed to passwords on both accounts, I made sure email and passwords were correct a million times lol
Nothing worked with Twitter or Myspace..SO I removed both accounts from my Motoblur account, re-added my Twitter account (which is now working fine) BUT my MySpace account is still not working.
I have removed it, changed the password, then tried to re-add it just like my Twitter account problem. It still won't work! IDK what is wrong, I have even tried without WIFI on
I get this error message from MotoBlur Account Management Screen when trying to add my MySpace account "Your entry is invalid, please try again"
Now I know this is false, can someone else tell me either how to fix this or is this a problem right now with MySpace?

I've setup all my accounts (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), but when I open the app, the only thing that comes up is the option "Add a social network". I've ended up installing TweetDeck so I can get all my social media updates in one app.
