I downloaded a tetris app, but i can't seem to activate it to play, when i view the downloaded apps and touch it, it opens up a screen with choice like uninstall but does not play.

I have several MP4 encoded movie files that played perfectly with my DX but won't play with the default Video Player app on my DX2. It gives me the error: File cannot be displayed or played.MoboPlayer, a third party video player, will play the files fine. QuickPic's player will not. Nor will the bundled app RockPlayer Lite.I reformatted the SD card within the DX2 (it was the same 16 GB card that I took from my DX) before I transferred any video files to it.Anyone have any ideas about what I can try? I would rather use the default Video Player app.Also, the playback using MoboPlayer seems a bit choppy. I was expecting much smoother playback on the DX2 with it's dual core processor and improved graphics accelerator hardware.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been noticing my videos will not save properly after I record something. It doesn't happen with every video and I can't seem to replicate the problem at this time. I can shoot consecutive clips and one may save properly and the other will not save. When I go to my film strip, an icon will hold the spot of where the file should be. When I click on it, I get an error message reading, "File cannot be displayed or played."

Before purchasing, I live chatted with a Dell rep who ASSURED me I would be able to do this since Droid is Flash enabled. I am connected to my Wi-Fi when attempting and I get part of the way through to the actual game, but once I get to the part where you begin searching for the hidden objects, I simply get a small gray box with a white arrow (like a video to play or something). Upon accessing that arrow, nothing happens.

Songs are also cutting out/off more frequently this morning - but i see there are service issues.

For example one is ac3 @ 192k and it plays just fine while another is 640k and says i need an ac3 filter. to play any obviously ffdshow is installed and working to play any ac3. I am confused, I have mainly avi and mkv files.

Sometimes I've been getting random messages when I try to download certain podcasts through the itunes app on my iphone that say, "Podcast can not be played on this iPhone" And it will not download or stream the podcast.
My phone isn't jail broken and all factory settings, so what is going on here?Is it just a random error in the OS or itunes store? Or did the podcaster actually upload the podcast in the wrong format?I can't imagine Apple even making it possible to upload in the wrong format though, given how controlling they are about the itunes store.Anyone know what is going on?

Does Motorola intentionally make their new products inferior at release?I've been using a Droid and a Droid 2 for about 18 months.I shoot a lot of pictures outdoors, some macro, lots of nature and concerts.I also shoot indoors under challenging conditions (concert lighting.) They have both prtovided a passable point-and-shoot camera.The Droid 3 camera is dissapointing in that several important features have vanished:
-There is auto white balance, only a manual and difficult-to-use control.
-The user can no longer set ISO
-The user can no longer set EV
-Focus is iffy under a variety of conditions
-Photos have a bluish cast under most conditions, with and without flash
So instead of getting pretty good shots with a convenient camera, I'm getting washed-out, bluish garbage.(Issues with the video vs. Droid 2 also, in a separate post.)I want to know if Motorola intends to make the experience of this camera catch up with the spec soon, or if i should return my phone while I can still get something else from Verizon.
I get a YouTube video in my news feed and when I click on it, it opens and tries to use the system video player to play the video. Which has a cappy resolution. It doesn't give me an option to open with YouTube like my old note2 did.
