Motorola Droid X2 :: Game Not Been Activating And Played
Dec 28, 2011
I downloaded a tetris app, but i can't seem to activate it to play, when i view the downloaded apps and touch it, it opens up a screen with choice like uninstall but does not play.
I have several MP4 encoded movie files that played perfectly with my DX but won't play with the default Video Player app on my DX2. It gives me the error: File cannot be displayed or played.MoboPlayer, a third party video player, will play the files fine. QuickPic's player will not. Nor will the bundled app RockPlayer Lite.I reformatted the SD card within the DX2 (it was the same 16 GB card that I took from my DX) before I transferred any video files to it.Anyone have any ideas about what I can try? I would rather use the default Video Player app. Also, the playback using MoboPlayer seems a bit choppy. I was expecting much smoother playback on the DX2 with it's dual core processor and improved graphics accelerator hardware.
Using GB, every time I activate GPS in settings it asks me if I agree to the terms. I can avoid this by using a third party widget to activate GPS. But is there any way to get the warning agreement to take the first time and not have to see it each time I use settings?
I restored my iphone today, and after that, recent game activity line of all of my friends on my game center friends list shows "Never Played" and has not been updated.
I've been noticing my videos will not save properly after I record something. It doesn't happen with every video and I can't seem to replicate the problem at this time. I can shoot consecutive clips and one may save properly and the other will not save. When I go to my film strip, an icon will hold the spot of where the file should be. When I click on it, I get an error message reading, "File cannot be displayed or played."
I am running into issues when trying to play Facebook game Gardens of Time on my 10.1 XYBoard. Before purchasing, I live chatted with a Dell rep who ASSURED me I would be able to do this since Droid is Flash enabled. I am connected to my Wi-Fi when attempting and I get part of the way through to the actual game, but once I get to the part where you begin searching for the hidden objects, I simply get a small gray box with a white arrow (like a video to play or something). Upon accessing that arrow, nothing happens.
Every so often when playing a game or hearing my phone ring, my sound goes weird and it sounds tinny and high. It always self corrects usually on the next play of a turn or another call. I think this may have also happened on my OG Droid.
When i convert video to mp4 mode and sync it to my atrix it won't play. It saids file cannot be displayed or played. i have tried couple mp4, the h264, mpeg-4, all doesn't play in my phone.
How do I change the order the music is played in? When I sync a playlist from iTunes, the music does not play in order. I can't seem to figure out what order it IS playing. No where do I see playlist options.
Bionic - just updated to the 1.1.2 version of the anddroid app from the market.Windows Server 2008 R2 64 Bit as my home server with the newest version of the desktop app loaded.Any time i get a text message, email or any other sound based notification on my phone 90% of the time the song that was playing does not continue after the notification sound is played. i have to unlock my phone and hit the play to continue listening to music. Songs are also cutting out/off more frequently this morning - but i see there are service issues.
Is there anyway to get all games to show in game launcher, only a few usually show up but the odd ones like need for speed and sonic episode 4 doesnt, is it possible to get all games on it?
I find that some AC3 formatted files can be played while others give me an error about needing an AC3 filter. I find this generally on the higher bitrate videos. For example one is ac3 @ 192k and it plays just fine while another is 640k and says i need an ac3 filter. to play any obviously ffdshow is installed and working to play any ac3. I am confused, I have mainly avi and mkv files.
I'd like to have some sample videos on my phone to show clients and potential clients, but a short test video I converted into mp4 gets an error message "File cannot be displayed or played".The file is not large nor long - 848x480,18MB, 1 minute 48 sec.compressed via Sorensen Squeeze v6 with MainConcept H264 codec at 1388kbps.
I've gone into MyMotoCast and played the music that way, as well as the Music app (looks like headphones), but for some reason through MotoCast it isn't working. I know it can't have anything to do with my purchasing the music through iTunes because the I've tried both iTunes purchased music as well as CDs that were uploaded.
I keep getting the following error: "video cannot be displayed or played" on ESPN's mobile site when I try to watch videos. Shouldn't this phone be able to view any video format?
I have 2 games that are compatible with the game center as of right now:
Farmville and Flight Control
Flight control works great, but Farmville isn't even showing up in the game center. Is anyone else having this problem? I deleted farmville and it said it was in the game center so I deleted that setting as well and when I re-downloaded it, it still didn't show up.
i am having lag after the update to froyo in 3d games .... over all other performance is gud but ...while playing the games it have glithches/ lag / run
Sooner or later, we're gonna have an upgrade to perform and some users recommend doing a reset/restore to minimize issues. What do people do to backup and restore things like (especially like) Angry Birds progress?I've seen a few Titanium based suggestions elsewhere, but I thought that needed root, and some others relating to backing up the high scores file (but I can't find it).
Got xperia z3 16g internal storage and a class 10 32g sd card. Everytime I transfer files from phone to SD video cannot play and images get corrupted. Tried to change the SD card because I thought problem is coming into that but still the same problem I cannot even use the memory space from sd cause files might get corrupted and videos cannot be played.
after updating my c7 to belle, i have observed one problem.i.e. FLV format videos takes a lot of time to play and sometimes the video is not even get played.
Sometimes I've been getting random messages when I try to download certain podcasts through the itunes app on my iphone that say, "Podcast can not be played on this iPhone" And it will not download or stream the podcast. My phone isn't jail broken and all factory settings, so what is going on here?Is it just a random error in the OS or itunes store? Or did the podcaster actually upload the podcast in the wrong format?I can't imagine Apple even making it possible to upload in the wrong format though, given how controlling they are about the itunes store.Anyone know what is going on?
Does Motorola intentionally make their new products inferior at release?I've been using a Droid and a Droid 2 for about 18 months.I shoot a lot of pictures outdoors, some macro, lots of nature and concerts.I also shoot indoors under challenging conditions (concert lighting.) They have both prtovided a passable point-and-shoot camera. The Droid 3 camera is dissapointing in that several important features have vanished:
-There is auto white balance, only a manual and difficult-to-use control. -The user can no longer set ISO -The user can no longer set EV -Focus is iffy under a variety of conditions -Photos have a bluish cast under most conditions, with and without flash
So instead of getting pretty good shots with a convenient camera, I'm getting washed-out, bluish garbage.(Issues with the video vs. Droid 2 also, in a separate post.)I want to know if Motorola intends to make the experience of this camera catch up with the spec soon, or if i should return my phone while I can still get something else from Verizon.
I get a YouTube video in my news feed and when I click on it, it opens and tries to use the system video player to play the video. Which has a cappy resolution. It doesn't give me an option to open with YouTube like my old note2 did.
