DROIDX updated this morning. Now I can't delete files from my SD card. Is there anyway to change the notification bar to a different color. It seems like nothing works since the update.

But I could not find a solution. On windows I can copy files on the micro sd card and delete - but as soon as I insert the card in the phone, everything is in the old condition. Everything played and was working fine.I then uploaded and deleted some music files through the bb pc software via the usb cable. Now everything seems corrupted and none works properly. When I look in my SD card on my computer, all the files I deleted are gone.So I tried formatting my SD card to completely erase everything and start over. I formatted it on both my computer and my blackberry. But the weird files are still sitting in my photo album!Does anyone know how I can get rid of them?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm having a strange issue on my Wifi Xoom (running the recently pushed ICS). I recently installed an app (the Caustic demo) from the market. Caustic sets up a basic file structure in storage for storing instrument sample files. Well, after uninstalling the demo, I went to remove the leftover files (via ASTRO) and it said "Error deleting files". I dig into the subdir and tried some individual files, but got the same result. I tried another file manager (EStrongs) but got the same result. I then tried mounting on Windows and deleting that way. It appeared to work (crunched for a second, then the files disappeared without any errors given). But the files still show up in ASTRO, and when I re-mount on Windows, they're still there.
Oh and this is only happening with this directory. Other files and directories can be deleted just fine. Is there a problem with my Xoom, or did the app author do something improper with setting up the directory?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had a 1GB SD card that was full so I swapped in a 16GB memory card. The old SD card files show on my PC but I cannot get the PC to see the new SD card. I was thinking that I would put the old SD card in the phone, move the pictures (or as many as I could at one time) to the internal memory, mount the new SD card and move them to it. I cannot find a way to do this. Is there an app that I can download that will facilitate this? I also tried downloading the Admiral software for my PC, and it installed, but it will not work when I try to use it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI regularly lose song files on the 32GB MicroSDHC card (Class 10) in my Atrix 2. They disappear without a trace, and without notice of any kind. I've been checking my music directory regularly with a file explorer app, and I've noticed that they tend to disappear whenever minor changes are made to the SD card (mounting/unmounting the card, connecting to my PC, adding new files to the card, revising existing files, etc.). I've tried using different SD cards, different PC connection methods (MotoHelper and USB Mass Storage), but nothing seems to work.
Is Android 2.3.5 not reading the card properly? I don't see the point of using an SD card with this phone if I can't guarantee that the files will stay accessible.
I just got the Motorola Photon Q and so far I really like it. It is different navigating than my previous phone, though. I am currently using my old 2 gb sd card and want to get a 16 gb card, but can't figure out how to transfer my music files that I downloaded from Amazon MP3 cloud to my phone. It appears they are stored on internal storage, which I suppose is ok for now, but when I get a new card I want to store them on my larger 16 gb card. I can access them by going to settings,storage, audio, then complete action using files, device storage, and then they are listed as amazonmp3.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have music and photo files stored on an SD card. I could play the music and view photos OK before ICS update. After ICS, the music files on the SD card didn't play. If I copied them to the internal memory, they worked. Gallery photos on SD card had multiple copies and would not swipe from one to the next. When viewed with XOOM attached to PC, there were multiple copies of everything. but only one copy of each if viewed in file manager, or by plugging SD card directly into PC. I found on other forums that I can clear the media storage and the files will play properly. However, after I restart once or twice the files are corrupted again. Is there a permanent fix for this problem? Is Google/Motorola aware of this? Is a permanent fix planned for a future update?

These .wav files played perfectly on my old droid x and play perfectly on my xoom. why they won't they play on my bionic? I used the stock music app on my droid x, double twist also worked. Double twist works great on my xoom tablet. Music nor double twist nor winamp work on my bionic.

"Sorry the player does not support this type of audio file."
No Error with Music or Winamp, the file just does not play.
I have the Droid 2 Global (upgraded from droid 1 to2 and now to global) How can I add ringtones to the Droid? I did it before using Astro File Manager but Ill be darned if I can figure it out again! doh! Happy to do it any way possible.
