View 15 RepliesEver since the operating system upgrade, the music player starts playing music when ever I answer a phone call.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWeird glitch I noticed in the first 2-3 days post ICS. Everything seems to be normal with the phone, except for the fact that when I plug it into a charger, this will automatically trigger the device to start playing the same song. The song plays all the way through once and then ends, after which everything is normal again. While the song is playing, I can't determine which program is responsible for playing the music so that I can stop it. There is no app or icon that pops up to indicate that music is being played, it's just as if the music is being conjured out of thin air. If I try playing a track on either Google Music or My Music during this time, the second track will start playing at the same time as the first, almost as if the software doesn't recognize that another song is already playing.
Again, this only occurs when I plug the phone into a charger. Happens consistently whether it's a wall charger, usb or car charger. I've been searcing like crazy through Settings and Smart Actions to see what's causing it, but have come up empty so far. Tried rebooting a few times (both hard and soft reset), clearing out the cache....everything except a factory reset which I'd prefer to avoid if at all possible. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I've been scrolling through various message boards but haven't seen any examples of this yet.
When my turbo is paired to a device and either streaming or just playing music or video it becomes extremely laggy. To the point where it freezes and will not work. Often times this happens while simultaneously charging the phone but its not exclusive to that criteria. It's done it while off charger as well. Is this a heat issue? Too many things going on at once?
View 7 Replies View RelatedMusic cuts in and out reguardless of what player I use while the WiFi hotspot is enabled. I turned WiFi hotpspot off and music played as it should. Pandora, Tunein radio, mp3's... anything media wise it appears.bIt also appears this only happens while listening via a bluetooth device - in my case a Motorola T505.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe music "button" in the car dock does not update the song playing sometimes. I have to touch it to make it update. Then the song titles are in white not green. Purely cosmetic from what I can tell.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I go to the music player and select a song to play, I get a message that tells me to plug in my headphones. The issue is that my headphones are plugged in. I didn't have this issue a week ago. I was listening to my music just fine. I have rebooted the device several times already. The weird thing is that I can hear the boot up sounds through my headphones, as well as notifications. I just can't play music. I have the same issue with the FM radio.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 4S sometimes stops playing music by itself while I am playing music. This occurs while my phone is on standby/locked mode; that is I am not using any apps.

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1
My i1 reboots when I play music with the default app. Not all songs but a few cause it to reboot.
View 10 Replies View RelatedJust bought the 16g Motoactv and went to use it for the first time yesterday and couldn't get any music to play. I hear the notifications saying "workout started" ect and the FM radio works fine, but any music i synced or even the "bonus" music that came with the device will not play. there is a play symbol showing up on the top of the screen but no music plays and when i go to the progress bar it reads 0:00 and does not move... any suggestions, this is driving me crazy seeing how i have not even gotten to enjoy this device once yet!!
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy Droid X2 keeps rebooting and crashing over and over. When I get past the lock screen it says. com.motorola.service.main has stopped responding or something similar to that, then it cycles through every other app saying they all crashed and the phone then reboots. I did not install anything prior to this and it was completely random...I am currently unable to use my phone right now since it will not stop rebooting. I have pulled out the battery and SD card to no avail.
View 6 Replies View RelatedOver the past week, I have gotten the following:
Sunday...2 random reboots
Monday..4
Tuessay 4
Today..6...6 random reboots out of no where.I bought device when it first came out and battery life has been issue..but recently, just this week, with ZERO additional apps downloaded, its rebooted on me as listed.
I have a brand new MOTOACTV 8GB and have only used it to TRY and listen to music around the house and outside once to walk my dog. I can't get through three complete songs without the device stopping a song. Sometimes it will randomly start to song over after a few seconds, sometimes it will move on to the next song. I have done a factory reset, upgraded to the newest software 6.13, and tried three different music formats, all supported. The same things happens regardless of what I try. If I can't get this thing to play music I'm really skeptical as to the rest of the functions.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, walking to my car this morning, my Atrix began to play an audiobook file (MP3). One that I had listened to days ago.
After months of using the phone and happily listening to audio books this issue has just occured this morning.
I swiped open the phone only to find that the (stock) music player was not actually running. Have not been able to find a way to stop the file(s) from playing.
Observations:
1. rebooting the phone simply restarts the playback of the file from its begining.
2. When the phone is sleeping (screen black), I have no control of the volume (as I would using media player)
3. If I swipe the phone to vibrate or silent, the playback goes silent (though I believe it continues playing)
4. I don't believe I have any ther media players installed.
5. Attempting to play a file in the (stock) music player, results in the file trying to play (the slider moves left to right), but only the audiobook is audible.
6. Have tried cycling power, removing battery, and ManageApps->clearing cache, and even uninstalling a number of downloaded apps - nothing helps.
7. I don't believe my phone vibrates any longer when I receive a notification for incoming text or email.
I've had this problem where out of the blue my Razr Maxx will just freeze up and reboot but it's not a full reboot it starts after the Moto Dual Core logo. Has anyone else experience this problem it drives me nuts.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've upgraded my RAZR MAXX HD to Jelly Bean. It seemed fine at first, and still does while in use, but will freeze and reboot randomly when not in use. It will get to a point where the screen goes dark and the phone will not respond to button presses or bluetooth connections, nor indicate new messages, etc; the phone must be restarted with PWR + VOL UP/DOWN. Oh, and the phone doesn't get hot either. I've tried an FDR (X6), installed only the Google Voice app, and it hasn't helped. I had not a single problem with ICS. I've googled and asked VZW tech support, but no one else seems to be having this problem with the OTA JB update. I grabbed some logs with logcat, but don't see anything. Is there some sleep mode event that occurs after some time or a way to monitor for a memory leak?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm starting to see a lot of automatic reboots of my phone, usually preceded by the phone hanging. This can happen when I go. to use an application and it might just freeze and reboot (not the result of an update). It also happens when the phone screen is off, phone is in "sleep" mode. I'll hit the home button to do something and have no response ... screen stays dark. I might hit the home button 1-2x more, but not holding it down or anything like that. After a couple of minutes, the phone will be rebooting itself. These are all full reboots ... I see the Droid eye, etc.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to Gingerbread I'm noticing that playing music via media players causes my Atrix to either lock up or spontaneously reboot. This is happening even after a factory reset. This had so far occured with Winamp (which I haven't reinstalled since my factory reset), Amazon MP3 and Google Music Beta. This has occured both while I was listening to the music on my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone ICON) and also just playing it back via the built-in speaker.
View 3 Replies View RelatedNew Quantico W845 owner here. Frustrated to the point of returning it to store. I have repeatedly tried to get this phone to play music that was transferred.I put in a 8g memory card. I formatted the memory card. I have repeatedly and meticulously followed the directions to transfer music from my PC to the phone via USP. The card seems to be storing it, as it decreases in the amount of available memory as I add songs. All are in the WMA format, which the phone's instruction booklet indicates it will accept and play.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm about 2 seconds from returning my Xoom Family Edition. I am furious at the fact I can't do something as simple as play music with the screen off without hearing static and constant clicking through my headphones. Only when the screen is off, too. Is this a common problem? Even my first gen single-core droid X doesn't behave this way when I play music using the very same apps with the screen off. It handles it fine, no clicks, no pops, no static, no bullcrap. Why is my supposedly "powerful" machine

It's random, which eliminates the possibility of a bad file or corruption during the sync, and seems worse when the 4g function is turned on.
