View 10 RepliesWeird glitch I noticed in the first 2-3 days post ICS. Everything seems to be normal with the phone, except for the fact that when I plug it into a charger, this will automatically trigger the device to start playing the same song. The song plays all the way through once and then ends, after which everything is normal again. While the song is playing, I can't determine which program is responsible for playing the music so that I can stop it. There is no app or icon that pops up to indicate that music is being played, it's just as if the music is being conjured out of thin air. If I try playing a track on either Google Music or My Music during this time, the second track will start playing at the same time as the first, almost as if the software doesn't recognize that another song is already playing.
Again, this only occurs when I plug the phone into a charger. Happens consistently whether it's a wall charger, usb or car charger. I've been searcing like crazy through Settings and Smart Actions to see what's causing it, but have come up empty so far. Tried rebooting a few times (both hard and soft reset), clearing out the cache....everything except a factory reset which I'd prefer to avoid if at all possible. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I've been scrolling through various message boards but haven't seen any examples of this yet.
I dowloaded about 50 songs to my 16GB Motoactv. Listening today, random music starts playing. It is in MP3 mode and is not the radio. I scrolled through the songs on the device and music that I have never owned and never downloaded to the device is on the device.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI use Stitcher for podcasts and on my new Turbo I'm having an issue where it will start playing as soon as the screen turns off. As long as the app is open, as soon as the screen goes off, a podcast starts playing.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I have my phone plugged in to the AUX IN port in my car, the music application starts automatically. If I was fast enough to start a call, it will hang up on the call and the music will start. I have always used the car stereo AUX IN feature to take/make calls. I This problem started a few weeks ago and it is driving me crazy. I stop the music application and as soon as I place another call, the music will start again
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have stopped media player, walked into a meeting, and put the phone on silent. My phone rings! It's ok, because the phone is on silent, however, after it stops ringing, music starts playing and it's really loud. It plays through the phone speakers.Has anyone had an issue with this? I would love to resolve this issue asap because It's happened a number of times, especially when I don't want it to.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMost of the time when a call ends and I'm using my H17text headset the damn music player, or whatever media app was last used, will start playing EVEN THOUGH it was not running before the call. That would not be so bad but when you have a phone that's set to lock you have to unlock it and find the damn app that's running to get it to stop. This is just plain STUPID!
I've seen this posted all over the place so Motorola my phone when we know it's a ANDROID bug. What I want to know is how to get it to STOP! I'd rather have to manually restart the damn media app after a call that to have it always start with out me wanting it!
Since upgrading to 5.0, my blackberry tour does this annoying thing where it randomly starts playing the music I uploaded onto it. I'll listen to music on my blackberry while I'm at the gym and when I'm done I hit the stop button. Then I'll be standing in an elevator at work the next day and music will start randomly blasting from my phone. Needless to say this is rather embarrassing and obnoxious.
View 5 Replies View RelatedEvery couple of days, my phone will just start playing music on speaker by its own.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I turn my phone off it starts to play whatever song it feels like that I have installed. Like right when I turn my phone off it'll start to play. I have to have the volume all the way down so it doesnt start to play music anymore. If I pause it from the lockscreen it won't start back up which is good. its done this before and stopped but now it's gone on for a week or 2 and it's just really annoying.

I just bought the HX550 and have been using it on my X2. I really like the bluetooth. Probably the best one I have ever used, and I have used many. I found one glitch with my using it with my X2. After I end a call, the musical player starts automatically. And only when I use the HX550. Has never happened with any other bluetooth. I tried it with MotoSpeak installed and removed. Makes no difference.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just updated new FW, and after each call (income and outcome) the music player start play music. I try format phone and card, reinstall new FW, but I have still the same problem.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got my G4 this week and I love almost everything about it! Anyway, I listen to spotify on my cars Bluetooth, but I learned tonight that if I get a call ( on call for work so I can't just ignore) I can answer, but the music just keeps playing and I can't hear the person on the other end. I must have my music and I don't like the installed music systems (canceled my service recently) .
View 4 Replies View RelatedAAfter the GB update, my X is rebooting randomly while the music (any music app, I've tried more than one) is open and music is playing.
View 15 Replies View RelatedWhen my turbo is paired to a device and either streaming or just playing music or video it becomes extremely laggy. To the point where it freezes and will not work. Often times this happens while simultaneously charging the phone but its not exclusive to that criteria. It's done it while off charger as well. Is this a heat issue? Too many things going on at once?
View 7 Replies View RelatedMusic cuts in and out reguardless of what player I use while the WiFi hotspot is enabled. I turned WiFi hotpspot off and music played as it should. Pandora, Tunein radio, mp3's... anything media wise it appears.bIt also appears this only happens while listening via a bluetooth device - in my case a Motorola T505.
View 6 Replies View RelatedIf the screen is off and resting, when a phone call comes in, you have to SLIDE to answer. If the screen is on, or I am within an app doing something on the phone and a call comes in, then it becomes TOUCH to answer.Anybody else noticed this??I hate it because the slide lock is super laggy since the update. I would much rather it be touch all the time. Wasn't it this way with Froyo?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI can't hear video anymore, but I know the speaker still works. I've already done a FDR, and checked all the volume settings.....
View 13 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Razr. When I play my music, my phone randomly dials a contact or boots up voice commands.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm using the Google music player with songs stored on my SD card in a directory I created (MyMusic"artists""albums") and they are in MP3 format (copied to desktop using RealPlayer). Prior to ICS, no problems and all was fine. After I upgraded to ICS, now when I look under Artists they all display however when I display Albums only 4 show: Unknown album/Ozzy Osbourne, Unknown album/Unknown artists, comedy cuts/Unknown artist and notifications/Paul Oakenfold. If I select an artist to play, it ends up playing all songs as the majority of the music now appears under the first album above. I trying to find an index file or something that may have gotten corrupt to delete but no luck. All songs play fine, just lost the ability to organize these as they appear on the SD card.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy wife received the notice today to upgrade to GB OTA. She accidentally hit download, but must have been on Edge signal. The down load is at the very beginning, but is asking her to connect to wifi to finish the download. Is there away to cancel the download to upgrade later? I tried powering off the phone and going into the phone status menu with no luck.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy 4s has all of a sudden stopped playing sound. I have a ringtone but no sound for music/movies etc. Tried turning on and of and letting bat go flat then recharging. Sound came back for a while then went again. I noticed this started soon after I upgraded to 5.1.1 . Ive also looked at the error reports the phone generates for apple and there are a few memory low notes.

The music "button" in the car dock does not update the song playing sometimes. I have to touch it to make it update. Then the song titles are in white not green. Purely cosmetic from what I can tell.
View 1 Replies View RelatedTHis is really strange. I power down my Driod X and confirm that it is shut down. When I return a few hours later, I find that the Droid has turned itself back on. I even tried the new Sleep mode (which is supposed to power off all radios), but when I check it later, it is on and receiving messages, emails, etc. Does the Droid X have an feature that turns it on when it receives a message, etc? IS there a way to turn this off.
PS. I don't like using hte Airplane Mode, because it doesn't always turn the radios back on properly when I turn it off. Have to restart Droid to get everything working properly.
I had an interesting experience after the update on my run today. Up to now my MOTOACTV has been fine, but today I had the music just stop several times mid-workout and it would not start again for several minutes despite pressing the "music" button quickly or even going to the music screen and pressing the play button. Within a few minutes of trying, however, it would start back up like normal. Also, my heart rate monitor was dropped once, but "sef-healed" and it seemed to be about 10-15 bpm off from normal at times. (This could be a low battery on the hrm, so I'll replace that and try again).
View 5 Replies View RelatedI don't have any DLNA compatible devices. I don't want DLNA. It starts automatically and takes up 3GB of memory. I can't remove it because it is part of the bloat.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I go to the music player and select a song to play, I get a message that tells me to plug in my headphones. The issue is that my headphones are plugged in. I didn't have this issue a week ago. I was listening to my music just fine. I have rebooted the device several times already. The weird thing is that I can hear the boot up sounds through my headphones, as well as notifications. I just can't play music. I have the same issue with the FM radio.
View 15 Replies View RelatedPurchased a MotoActv brand new from eBay about 3 months ago. The best product to date i have used for tracking my gym session.I have noticed that everytime i press the power button, the volume increase and the music section starts ups. Very hard to track my gym work majority of the time as it stops the start button to work.I have updated to the latest version, no change in behaviour.Powering off is not an option as it automatically goes into bootloader mode, very hard to get it out of bootloader mode.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhenever you turn on the phone, or whenever you come back from a blank screen, my Motorola Droid Turbo always starts at the default Phone app. This is really frustrating because you have to close this screen before you can get to the Home screen to do anything else. It also has been the cause of a number of accidental dialings since it defaults to the Speed Dial screen and all the dial buttons are there ready to use. Is there any way to change this? I want to just boot to the home screen, like every other phone I have used.
View 6 Replies View RelatedOn my Wife's droid razr, every time the phone boots up, blue tooth starts up. It seems to start up right after the phone starts up my wifi. There are no smart action running that should cause the blue tooth to start up. If doesn't automatically start up on my razr, only on my wife's phone. Even when I turn off blue tooth before I shut down the phone, it still starts up on restarting the phone.
