Since I have updated to Gingerbread my phone is making faint clicking noises when moving the phone or interacting with the touch screen. It is intermittent and can occur when the display has timed out. Is anyone else experiencing this? Since the update I have performed a factory reset in an attempt to address this and other issues and the sounds have persisted. This has become an annoyance to me, are there any settings I should be checking to address this?
I recently bought my blackberry the other day and it's been working great. However today I notices the back cover keeps making weird clicking noises whenever pressure is applied. Everytime I go to pick it up in my hand to text, the cover makes this noise. It appears to be due to a pocket of air between the cover and the battery but the noise is getting really annoying.
not sure exactly when it happened but i noticed yesterday that my sound is no longer working on my iphone 4s. i've checked that all sound settings are on, including the mute switch on the side of the phone. i can hear alarms and phone calls but the phone doesn't make the keypad noises, or the random other noises in normal us. i hear no noise when trying to listen to music or watch Internet videos. no volume bar comes up when i click the +/- buttons. all i get is an icon that says "ringer". i found that music plays just fine when i plug in a headphones, and i can even change the volume with the +/- button when the headphones are plugged in.
My Iphone 6 is making a clicking noise on the screen when you press on it near the volume buttons and i do t know what to do. I never dropped the phone and i do have a case on it. It is not bent at all. Just one day someone called me and when i put the phone on my check i heard it click. First i thought it was the case so i took it off but u still heard the sound Should i take it to an Apple Store ?
I know that you can set the phone to make a noise when you click the trackpad - that isn't my issue because I have this feature turned off. My issue is that when I scroll down on the trackpad I'm hearing a clicking noise, almost like the trackpad is too loose and is hitting the silver lining. I'm not trying to be picky, but it's really annoying when scrolling through emails or through the browser. I stopped by the Verizon store and the tech told me it's because I have big thumbs and they're hitting the keys below, which I showed him wasn't the case. He also said the trackpad being angled to the right appears to be on purpose because their demo is like that. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed the clicking noise when scrolling down?
Last week I suddenly noticed that my phone's power button wasn't making a clicking noise anymore when pressed. Now it's more like pressing a rubber button or something. Phone itself is about 6 months old. I also checked my wife's Z3C and, while being about two months older, it's power button is still clicking like mine was before.
hearing a clicking sound when playing videos or netflix from the Bionic? I was trying netflix for the first time playing futurama episode 44 "were the buggal" and when ever there was sound from the speakers it was makeing a clicking sound even when it it is about half way turned down.I tryed to take of the back and it still dose it....is it just my new phone.
I've got a question/concern. About a week after getting my X2, I've noticed that the camera seems to make a lot of noise. It clicks when I open the camera app, and clicks louder when I hit the "Switch To Video/Cam" button as well. I've had it say sometimes "oops, the camera can't be used right now!" before too! Only once has that happened. But the clicking is persistant.
My wife's D3 locks immediately after starting a call. She has to hit the power/sleep button to wake it up to end the call. Anyone know how to stop this? She says she has not changed any settings and my D3 has never done this. Don't see any new apps installed and the phone has been rebooted.
Got a D3 for the wife as she was getting tired of the OG Droid and one of the selling points for picking the D3 over the DX2 or DInc2 was the camera. She gets to keep the form factor she fell in love with on the Droid and gets to upgrade to the new D3 as well as getting a better camera too? She was ready for the upgrade. Well now it's buyer's remorse as the camera is useless. The flash washes out the pictures in a blue hue and that makes the colors all wrong. At first we thought it was the phone's display, but it's not as we saw the same nasty blue hue on the computer after transferring the pics. With the flash off the colors are right but the image is grainy. Outside the images are certainly the right color but a tad pixelated. This blue hue is even in video recordings when the LED is used. Something has gone afoul here as the Droid had a better pic quality and the proper colors but the D3, the latest and greatest offering, doesn't? What gives? can it be fixed?
When making a phone call on the droid turbo, if you are calling a number not in your contacts, it always prompts you to "add to contacts". is there a way not have that prompt you?
i have downloaded & install motocast on my laptop. but when i try to sign in the circle just goes around & around & nothing happends. i have also try making internet explorer my default browser with no luck. java updated to lates version here is a pic of what i am talking a bout
I have a Droid Razr paired with a Blue Parrot BTX-250. Most of the time(not all), when either making or receiving a call, the phone is broadcasting static to the speaker circuit of the BT. People can still hear and understand me. The static lasts for anywhere from 1/2 second to 5 seconds then goes away. It is only doing this during calls. I can use the voice command to initiate a call and the phone understands me and I can understand it, then when the Razor connects the phone circuit to the BT it will give the static(most of the time). Went to a Verizon store and tech guy verified all this. BT is two months old and worked fine with last phone last week. We are fairly certain it is a software issue with Droid.
1) sometimes software crashes (any, not related to a specific title) , just disappears ant tile screen is back. Today the phone completely shut down in a second and only removing the battery bring it back to live.
2) In standby, there is a sound like it is switching the speaker all the time on and off.
I have an issue with my Motorola photon 4g since I bought it (2 months old now). It may reboots when I am trying to make a phone call. It happens everyday randomly and it is getting worse. If one day I need to make an emergency, I may need to wait a few minutes for it to boot up (lol) before I can use it. I have used Palm treo phone for many year and never have any problem. I went to sprint service center and the sprint technician reset it but it still has the same problem. I will come back to Sprint again for service. FYI, I will update this post soon I have more info.
i've been noticing that while I'm on apps such as Facebook or Instagram that my phone will start clicking on people's profiles, liking posts, or clicking links unprovoked. I thought maybe it was a problem with the apps, but I started noticing it happening whike sending a text the phone will click on suggested words by itself, and even if I'm just on the home screen apps will open on their own.
While on a phone call with anyone, I get a random clicking noise no matter if on speaker, bluetooth, or earpiece of phone. I have already tried pulling back, factory reset, and clearing the cache. Verizon phone on BOG5.
I've got a Bold 9900 and just recently, I have been getting a static clicking sound when I make a phone call. It goes away for a while when I do a battery pull but comes back after a couple of days. I'm running OS 7.1 Bundle 1149 (c7.1.0.342, Platform 5.1.0.276).
So the other day I switched over from an iPhone 4, my gf bought the HTC One X after I recommended it to her since shes not an Apple person and after playing around with it my self I decided to also switch. So far I'm loving the phone but a couple of things that are bothering me are this; How is it that you cannot send DECENT quality videos?! On the iPhone I was able to send high quality minute long videos with no problem. I took a 15 second video in lower resolution and pixel rate and EVERY TIME it would say the file is too large.Next, group messaging.. iPhone did this no problem. Me and 3 other people could send messages back and forth like we were in a chat room, HTC? Nope, sends them individually to each person. I heard some recommendation of apps that do this but they make you sign up for some lame account where my name is displayed instead of my phone number or name listed in THEIR contact list.
Lastly, is there a way to change the keyboard other than the tilt way to make the space bar button bigger? I'm always hitting the period button after every wordAre there any ways to get around these little inconveniences? I'd appreciate any recommendations or suggestions cause I'd hate to have to go back to the ATT store and upgrade to the iPhone 4S.Edit: Another issue.. noticed while in camera mode, taking pictures theres a constant clicking noise coming from the phone. Not sure what it is its very faint but annoying. Anyone else experience this?Another issue I found! Check this out this is definitely strange! So I dropped my phone today and I thought I had broken the three buttons on the bottom of the phone because they would not light up in my room... So I figured I would exchange it at the store on monday and went on with my business. I went downstairs into my gym to work out and those lights magically started working so I thought huh, thats cool maybe its just because it was charging.. but then I went back into my bedroom and the lights stopped working again
I rmb someone else reported this but I can't find the post. who else had this problem? the left side of my touchscreen when closed has a gap now with the keyboard to the point where if i press on the touchscreen, it will depress and "click".it's getting really annoying and i'm trying to "bend" the slider back so it doesn't but obviously that doens't help.
The power on/off faulty? but why when I re-click on battery, it automatic restart the system without touch any button and screen. even I cant hangup the call as well.
I have the X6. The phone rings and I unlock the keyguard using the slider on the side of the phone and the phone stops ringing. Then in order to answer the phone I press the green button on the bottom left of the phone or I press answer call on the screen and then I can speak which I suppose sounds fair enough. But I just think that something is wrong because surely the phone should continue to make the 'ringing' noise until I actually answer the call rather than going mute just because I have unlocked the keyguard.. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how the phone works?
I know there is no way in contacting blackberry support without paying with money i dont have.. But am hoping that some blackberry profesionals actualy go on the forums sometimes.Firstly is there anyway to contact someone who really knows something about the device. correct me if im wrong but if we could talk to the people who made the device they would for sure know exactly wat is wrong with the device and be a huge help. ___________________ Lastly my device every 10 minutes just shows this = | | then when i press the track ball in it resets??? | ADC stuck | -my phone | reset | ____________________ | { | # | 0 | > | {. | | q | w | e | r | y | u | i | o | p | | a | s | d | f | g | h | j | k | l | |alt| z | x | c | v | b | n | m | $| Any ideas on what to do. there is no fix for this error any where on the web and have only read of it happening to two different people.
I just received my x2 yesterday. When gmail arrives on the phone, as soon as it appears on my computer it disappears from the phone. Is there a setting i need to change?
whenever i charge my phone and it gets too 100 percent, in an Irish like accent, it says somthing similar to "charging complete!" and is really loud, even though i have it on silent for everything. also when my battery gets down to 30 percent, in the same accent says battery running low! ive tried turning it off and turning my phoneback on, taking the battery out, looked all over for settings, and obviously switched what volume/vibrate/silence to make sure i have it right.
